Thompson Roofing & Construction, My wife and I are remodeling our home and decided on Thompson because of a they came highly recommended by a friend , glad we chose this roofing contractor, extremely knowledgeable,professional, in and out one day on shingles, several days later came in and played the metal work. Our roof looks great and the job was done in one day. The job site was clean when they left.During the process of taking the roof off, a portion of Sheetrock came down in our garage. That made the garage doors unable to open. Two of the workers came through my house to get into the garage to view the damage. I was told that someone would be there the next morning to repair the Sheetrock. That was on a Tuesday. It’s been a week and no one has shown up. We received one message last Friday that a painter would be at our house yesterday but he didn’t show. My husband cleaned up the mess and repaired it himself as we didn’t want anything falling down on his car.I had to move my car at the request of the roofers and I gave them the time that I needed to leave for work. When I came outside to leave, a lot of supplies were behind my car. I was several minutes late for work because I had to wait for the supplies to be moved.Even though it appears that the roof itself is a quality job, I wouldn’t recognize Thompson Roofers. I feel that it was very poor not to repair the damage their crew caused to our garage ceiling.

From the initial assessment to the final cleanup, they demonstrated expertise and attention to detail. Scott was great at keeping me informed, addressing any concerns promptly, and working out all the details with the insurance company. Thompson Roofing recently put a new roof on my house, and I cannot say enough about how positive the experience was. Jason Pope is an excellent representative of this company. He presented the different options and responded to all my questions in a timely manner. He followed up when the job was done to be sure I was happy and that there were no issues. We selected this company for our roof replacement after assessing three companies. Jackson Vaughn representing this company was very professional in presenting their roofing approach along with explaining the respective roofing materials. He was highly capable in addressing our many questions. We learned much and were able to make educated decisions resulting in great satisfaction in our commitment prior to the job. We used Thompson Roofing and Construction for gutter repair / adjustment and splash guard installation last week. They came out and completed the job successfully and quickly. Ryan was great to work with on our new roof. He showed us all our options and went over each in detail. He work with our insurance company for a great settlement for us. The roofing crew was very professional and did a great job. We also had insulation blown in ceiling and they were awesome for doing such messy work! When both crews left our home there was no sign they had ever been here except for a beautiful roof. I highly recommend Ryan and all his associates at Thompson 🙂

After a bad wind and ice storm of 2024, I found my home needed a new roof. Being new to the area, I was not sure who to call. Thompson Roofing and Construction was recommended. Their associate came out and checked the roof, sat with my son and me to tell us what they could do, and we made a deal for a new roof.Early morning mid February, the crew came to remove the old roof and install the new. They had a good crew with enough workers to complete the job - no workers standing around and each knew what their job was. Before the day was over, I had a new roof and all the clean up was done.My neighbors tell me I had the quietest and best working crew and my new roof looks good! I recommend Thompson Roofing to anyone who needs roofing work done.

Thompson roofing did a fantastic job replacing my roof! The roof replacement only took one day so I didn’t have to worry about rain coming in at night between days. Communication with managers was great and helped establish what was needed and when. Thompson roofing also installed my new gutters, and they are a life changer! Hired Thompson Roofing after we incurred storm damage. They replaced part of the roof/shingles and did a good job from what we can see. In repairing the fascia boards etc., it needed painting. Only one coat was applied. We had to call back to have a second coat painted. The workers did not speak English so we had to wait. However, after discussing repairing a few brick at the roofline we were told it would be handled and it wasn’t. Also a metal flood light was replaced with a plastic one by the painter. I would have rather had an electrician do the work but they didn’t discuss it with us. Now the light does not work and I’m stuck with a white plastic fixture where the rest of the lights are metal. I don’t have any information about what type of light fixture and why it has a camera attached… At this point we don’t want anymore work by Thompson at our home. We will contact another group to finish the job. Roofing and construction is misleading in this case.

I received Ultra High Definition Lifetime Shingles that are 20% thicker than HDZ plus an additional thickness of copper time release capsules that prevents ugly mildew stains for 30 years, w/ chimney & skylights. My wife thought I took advantage of this Christian company, which made my neighbors very envious of their great work.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Replacing a roof is a substantial financial investment, which is why we went through the time and effort to interview multiple companies to find who we felt was the best. After a great sales experience, Thompson Roofing gained our trust and confidence, so we hired them to replace our roof, gutters, and repair interior water damage, from a tree that fell on our home. Taking emotions out of this review our goal is to provide the facts that back our poor rating of Thompson Roofing and hopefully alerts those needing roof repairs. I know if this review was present during our research, we would never have chosen Thompson Roofing. With so many companies out there, don’t take the risk! Bottom line – you want a company that does the job right and stands by their work, Thompson Roofing in NOT that company.Issues encountered:DISHONEST – Due to substantial damage to our roof and a busy work travel schedule in OCT 2023, we needed the job completed by 1 OCT 2023. This was discussed with Thompson Roofing as a requirement and they GUARANTEED the work would be completed by the 1 OCT 2023 deadline; however, a few days after we signed the contract, our sales representative stated not all the work would be completed on time as agreed. This extended the completion time to NOV 2023 and created strains on our family to accommodate the missed deadline.WORKMANSHIP ISSUES – After the first day of roof work, we went into the attic to see the progress made with the roof repairs and found Thompson Roofing had roofed over the damaged areas without fixing the roof where the tree had punctured holes through the plywood. The project manager was alerted to the issue, verified the issue, and asked if we would like it fixed because it would take longer since they already roofed over the exposed hole. We insisted they correct the issue, and it was corrected. A broken skylight, missing ridge shingles, dented gutters and sloppy caulking are a few of the other issues we are aware of needing to be addressed with the project manager once the roof work was complete.CONTINUED ISSUES - While the above issues are concerning, the most glaring is our current situation, a leaky roof that Thompson Roofing states they are NOT liable for and will NOT fix. During the first substantial rainfall after we had the roof replaced, a large water spot formed on the ceiling in our bedroom- the same room we had just had repaired from the initial incident with the tree falling. After further inspection, it was clear the leak was from the roof. We called Thompson Roofing back out and they identified the vent pipe for the gas fireplace was not sealed at the roof. One of their workers sealed the pipe for a temporary fix but the project manager reached back out to let us know they were not liable because they didn’t replace that vent pipe and it must have been faulty prior to their work. We never had an issue with the gas fireplace vent leaking previously, and the insurance inspector as well as the Thompson Roofing team did not identify an issue with the vent pipe when completing inspections of the roof prior to the work. Since Thompson Roofing and their crew were the last ones to touch our roof, it is reasonable to believe this issue is directly related to their workmanship.To date, we spent $30k on a complete roof replacement by Thompson Roofing. This brand-new roof now has a leak that, as it turns out, is not covered under the Thompson's 25 Year Gold Warranty! We have an additional $3k of water damage inside our home to fix, and a damaged gas fireplace vent that must be replaced. So disappointing.

My husband and I were looking for contractors to replace the siding in our chimney due to water damage from our old gutters. Thompson came out and provided us with a detailed, itemized estimate which was very reasonable. They gave us an honest estimate on when the project could start, 4-6 weeks out, which worked out perfectly because we had other backyard projects lined up that had to happen first. They began the project when they said they would and worked quickly and efficiently. They were honest and communicated with us whenever there were issues that would increase the price. We knew the water damage could be extensive and that once the old siding was removed we could find more severe water damage than initially thought, but they kept us up to date on any updates or increase in required materials.The siding looks amazing now, they did a great job matching the color to all the other exterior trim on our house. They also did a great job cleaning up the area and hauling away old siding and debris.We 100% recommended Thompson Roofing & Construction, they were professional, honest with their estimates, the price was very reasonable, the work quality is excellent, and they worked quickly and efficiently!

Brian went above and beyond by even placing a tarp over the area. I was having a leak before I decided to go with this company. My home was in need of a makeover and Thompson Roofing certainly made things better. Walt Williams provided an estimate for siding, paint, and replacement of a sliding door with a French Door. Once I agreed to the work, Andrew stepped in to ensure each item was done and complete to my satisfaction. Trust me, Thompson Roofing is not just your typical roofing company! My photos will show a nice slate color has replaced the red siding.

After recent storms we noticed our neighbors were having their roof replaced by Thompson Roofing and Construction. Our neighbors recommended we contact Ryan to have ours checked. Ryan came and inspected our roof and only found a nail pop that he addressed while doing his inspection. There was no wind damage present at this time.( This is what the neighbors roof was being replaced for). He showed us pictures of our shingles, pipe flashings and roof flashings. We will contact Ryan again in the future when it is time to replace or repair!
