Plenary of STUFF here, and it’s all over this place. From glass eyeballs to an Amish buggy, and even medical supplies. A true antic shop. Inside the store more stuff packed in than outside. You have to stop here and visit.

If your being honest with yourself, this is one heck of a place to find the ins and outs of oddities! This was a great place to stop and burn some time as well as picking up unique gifts and souvenirs for those family members back home! Or of course for your own home!

What a treat to visit with Mike and to shop through his neatly chaotic store of treasures, old and new. Our grandkids got a free toy out of the little cardboard box he leaves on the floor. A sweet guy.

Out of the way shop that has a little of everything. If you want a little attitude just look for Mike (it's all done in fun) there were things found here that I haven't seen for years.

We love Wal Mikes because of the uniqueness of the offerings, the quirkiness of the landscaping, and the friendliness of the owners. Seriously, this is a MUST SEE!!!!!

Wal-Mikes is an extremely American, excellent general store. Coming from out of town, I saw it driving by, and I had to stop. I bought a shirt, license plate, and a few trinkets. Mike sells a little bit of everything, from nuts and bolts, to batteries, cigarettes, and elk-Hyde jackets, and much more. I HIGHLY recommend anyone in the area to stop here and look around, the chances are very high that you find something you like shopping at this little family owned general store.

This place was so much fun. Lots of quirky, cool stuff to see. Plenty of useful stuff to walk away with. The owner was great, he asked where we were from and what brought us to Alaska. He had plenty of good jokes and we had a few laughs. I look forward to going back.

Prices are not WalMart prices. More like downtown Anchorage prices in the tourists trap shops or 50 cents cheaper. But lots of fun stuff.

Seriously an amazing place. If you have ever said I wonder what an old fashioned general store looks like this is it. From nuts and bolts to decorative pieces and kitchen cutlery. The wife was super excited to go back.

This was an interesting place with nooks and crannies run by an interesting character. He had everything from batteries and porcupine quills to beautiful fox skins and chinchilla muffs. The best find of the day was reindeer poop Christmas ornaments.

We spent a good chunk of our day with Mike, checking out his whole property, and I swear we still didn't even get to see everything he's got going on. Mike is a super cool dude, we sat with him and talked for quite a while.Definitely plan on visiting him and his awesome wife any time we are down in the area.

Wal Mike has everything you need and lots of cool stuff you didn't know you needed. Until you peruse the Alaskan necessities and realize you could possibly expire without said thingamajig. Propane at fair price filled at Wal-Mike's or delivery by arrangement. Tell W Mike that D.L. Caruso sent you and I'll get a small discount...everything helps nowadays! Thanks and enjoy Mike. He's a very nice man!

Mike is a great guy, very helpful and pretty much has one or more of everything from mammoth parts to spatulas, baseball hats to goldpans, humming bird crossing signs to tires, wheels and some old school wisdom! If he ain't got it you probably don't want or need it. 😉
