Some may feel my opinion is bias since Matt is my husband…but I absolutely LOVE the home that he and Tim built for us. I feel I have a unique perspective as I was present throughout the whole process of our build as well as multiple other remote builds. I’m the only one who truly knows how detailed and precise Matt and Tim’s work is as I hear them day in and day out collaborating on the best way to do literally everything. They labor over the most minute details, wanting to ensure that final products are structurally sound as well as user friendly and practical. Tim has a phenomenal ability to envision final products and he is careful to walk clients through every step of the process. Together, he and Matt make an incredible team and finish projects in a timely manner. They also bend over backwards to research the best prices in products in order to save clients money. These two are top notch and their work clearly reflects this. Give them a call if you’re ready to go forward on that dream project of yours:)

Tim and Matt with New Legacy Construction are absolutely amazing. We chose New Legacy because of the quality of their work we’d seen locally and because of their reputation for experience with remote builds in Alaska. We asked them for a remote cabin kit buildout on an Island in PWS Alaska. The main parameter was that their work needed to be bulletproof from wind and rain and the elements. They more than delivered! The quality of their work was exceptional, and they also were able to complete the work in a very short amount of time that fit between weather windows to get the supply boat to the island to drop them off and back out to pick them up. They were ready on time, had no complaints with living off grid during the build, and were still smiling and having fun with the experience when we picked them up off the island. Watching them work was to watch excellence.

We highly recommend New Legacy Construction! Not only are Matt and Tim genuinely cool guys, their work is exceptional. They were the primary force in getting our cabin kit up on an island in PWS. They were well-prepared for this remote project, flexible, efficient, and reliable. We had the pleasure of working with Tim, Matt and the entire NLC crew this past spring/summer. They completed a full 1st floor remodel with floor plan change early and on budget! If you appreciate attention to detail, honesty and integrity you'll want to work with New Legacy. Here are a few of the details I appreciated the most. When Tim or Matt say they will be there, they are there. You can tell you are a priority to them. Both men engaged my kids in conversation, projects and allowed my kids to pester them with questions. And my kids were excited to see their truck pull into the driveway (personally I feel like that says a lot about Tim and Matt). Tim sang Disney songs with my daughter while trimming windows and Matt made up his own song for my son and sang it to him every time he saw him. I just can't say enough about these guys. I feel extremely blessed to have been able to snag a spot in their timeline. I wish them all the best in their futures. If you want a contractor who goes the extra mile, doesn't take a million smoke breaks and actually cares about your happiness you want New Legacy Construction. Tim and Matt Ozerkov are rare gems. I would recommend them to anyone!

We couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience with Tim and Matt at New Legacy Construction. We purchased a fixer upper several years ago on our dream property and were looking for a contractor to help us tell a story and create a beautiful and functional remodel that would fit within our budget. The house had potential but lacked some character and functionality. After meeting with several contractors and not being able to come up with a design we loved, we were at a standstill. After meeting with Tim at New Legacy Construction we were blown away by their creative vision for design options and computer graphic presentation. From start to finish this was an amazing experience. They delivered everything they said they would and more. They were honest, kind and respectful. It was clear that they care deeply about their craftsmanship and every single detail that goes into a project. We loved how they involved us in the whole process. Matt even let my small kids help him with little projects here and there, so they felt like they helped rebuild their own home right alongside him. Our bathroom remodel is only the beginning of our working relationship with them. We can’t wait to have them come back for more spaces and we would never consider using anyone else to do the work. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented and honest contractor.

We had the pleasure of working with New Legacy on 2 bathroom remodels. One was a gut remodel with major changes, the other was a more simple updating. I cannot recommend this company enough!! Every aspect of working with Tim and Matt exceeded expectations. Daily clean up, daily updates, they were on time everyday, worked late to get the job done ahead of schedule, and the work that was done was perfect!! Basically the complete opposite of what most contractors do! I am a contractor myself(Heating and Cooling) and have worked with dozens of contractors over the years and to be honest, New Legacy is the best I have ever worked with!!

Tim and Matt have worked on our remote Lodge property outside of Kodiak, Alaska for several years, always in the winter months during our 'closed season,' also the hardest months to operate outdoors in this climate. They have done it all out here; replacing foundations, remodels, additions, replaced siding and roofing, and constructed a complete owners residence from foundation to final trim, including electric, plumbing, and gypcrete pour for in-floor heating. They are hard working, resourceful and knowledgeable, but also pleasant people to be around; polite, non smoking/non drinking Christians. We would recommend them for any endeavor, domestic or remote, and we certainly look forward to working with them for the foreseeable future.

As a homeowner, working with Tim and Matt from New Legacy Construction was the best experience I have had on any of my home projects. We hired them to replace our siding and windows. Last year, our home was damaged from a severe hail storm and frankly, the siding and windows were over 30 years old. Because our insurance did not cover any of the repairs, we worked hard to find the right contractors for the project. I’m so glad we were able to work with New Legacy Construction. A project of this size can be pretty nerve wracking. There were challenges, there were some areas of water damage and rot from the old wood siding and windows. They took care of everything without me having to stress about it. They also wrapped our home in an extra layer of insulation. I truly feel like they took the time to do everything right. My home feels protected now and will probably last another 100 years.Tim and Matt take pride in their work, are great problem solvers, but equally important is their positive attitude. I’ll be honest, the weather was not ideal for our project but they were out there bright and early every day and stayed until they’d accomplished everything. I wish more contractors were this easy to work with.I will be hiring New Legacy Construction again for other home renovation projects on my list.

Tim and his crew did an amazing job on our attic to bath conversion. His is very easy to communicate with, his bid was spot on. We had no issues with the project, it was extended 2 weeks because of us, not him. We increased our budget during the project, but that was 100% our choice not theirs. We will hire Tim again for home improvements, he was timely, honest and just good people all around.

New Legacy Construction was an answer to prayer for our family. They completely under bid all competitors as they took pride in performing the work with our working budget while still delivering our dream kitchen. The end results completely transformed our tiny kitchen into a truly modern stylish kitchen. This was a major remodel popping out our exterior wall 100 sq ft and then adding island, new cupboards, removing an internal wall, adding full size window, exposing brick and adding flooring. The end results have every visitor in shock that it's even the same home.I will be using New Legacy Construction for future work and highly recommend them. They are honest, friendly, innovative, professional, and really a bunch of great guys!

I am so impressed with their work. They installed a beam type mantel for me on a rough quartz big rock wall around my fireplace- the rock is very uneven and stuck out in every direction, but with that said, they made this large reclaimed wood mantel look like it was grouted in when the rock was installed. Great JOB!!! they also did an installation of these large cedar planks as shelving for my bar area- BEAUTIFUL !! And they are very professional and nice. Would recommended to anyone and will use them again . :)
