We stayed here for one night before our hike to Havasu Falls in a standard queen room. I had read beforehand that there were railroad tracks on the backside of the hotel, so I did kindly request a room at the front of the hotel when booking our reservation, knowing that requests are never guaranteed. They did give us a room on the front of the hotel and we only heard a train come through once (very faintly, not bothersome at all). They do have free earplugs at the front desk for guests. Overall, we felt the hotel was very clean and quiet, and we had no issues with our stay. The staff were friendly at check-in and check-out.We did eat at the restaurant on-site which was quite busy and hardly staffed. The service was extremely slow but pleasant, and we weren't in a rush so it was no big deal. We all enjoyed our food. It was virtually the only option in town, so I would just be aware of that. The market across the street did not have much in the way of food beyond typical gas station snacks. We were happy we chose to stay here rather than Grand Canyon Caverns Inn where we picked up our permits for Havasu Falls as that facility seemed extremely run down.

Pick up location for river runners. Can’t beat that! The temperature in the hotel was perfect in April. We never adjusted the temperature. We used laundry room. $3.50 per load. Older models worked great. Pool was not heated but jacuzzi was very hot! We used it every evening :)The people are calm, patient, friendly individuals. Gift shop was the typical cushioned prices, however, had cure , and/or useful items. The gym had all new machines and equipment. Everything worked! Lots of lounging areas though out the hotel.Rooms looked and smelled clean:)

Our recent stay at this hotel had its highs and lows. On the positive side, the room was impressively clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, there were some downsides to note. The periodic train passing through, accompanied by a tooting horn, may bother light sleepers. Additionally, we found the customer service lacking, with staff not being overly helpful or friendly. One area for improvement is the complimentary breakfast, which lacked protein options (would incur a ~$15 add on charge). It would be beneficial to offer protein add-ons for those looking for a more substantial morning meal.On a positive note, the trading post store in the lobby offers a good variety of items, perfect for guests needing essentials for their stay or outdoor adventures.Overall, while the hotel has its strengths, there are areas where improvements could enhance the guest experienceNearby activities: Hualapak River Runners white water rafting was terrific! Great to stay at the same hotel where pick up and drop off was done.

We will not be back! Called and booked the room over 2 months ago over the phone. When we arrived to check in, they waited until they had already run our card to tell us you are not allowed to have any alcohol in your room. Um, maybe I should have been informed about this when I called to book here, I would not have booked it.. We paid for the room so we should be able to do what we want. Then we had to listen to a kid screaming and crying all night, a guy in the halls yelling at the top of his lungs at 5 am.. Check out is at 11 am, and at 8:30 am we have someone knocking on the door, and then they just walk in, so apparently the locks don't work either. We are NOT happy with this hotel....The only good part we liked was the train tracks right out back..

Great place to stay. We came to Peach Springs to experience white rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon by River Runners. The lodge had very clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant had great comfort food and had the best fry bread. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice gift shop, too. We are looking forward to our next trip.

Ended up switching to this motel (from the Caverns Inn) it was such a relief! Friendly staff, nice little restaurant, CLEAN and comfortable and really no farther away from the Havasupai trail head than the Caverns. Stay at this hotel and take the short drive to Caverns for your permit.Nearby activities: Stay here before/after your Havasupai Hike Adventure

If you really enjoy listening trains blow their horns every 20 minutes and not sleep at all this is the place to be! Get in front of all of the action! Trains blowing horns from both directions, some just hold them down in entirety because why not.I feel like the people leaving these 5 star reviews have never traveled anywhere in their life or could lose an arm and state they were happy with the weight loss as a result.

Very very nice hotel. Train doesn’t bother me. Grew up with one running through the yard. Don’t even notice it. The whole building is very clean and very nice. Attached restaurant is good. Internet is fine for a hotel. 5.5mbps down and 3mbps up. Rooms and their bathrooms are great. “Keurig” machine in room. Fridge and microwave. Beds are soft. Pillows are meh. Staff is extremely friendly. Happy with stay.

I work in Peach Springs and my best friend and I went there for lunch. They have REAL French fries. Real potatoes 😋. The French dip was awesome.

If your idea of restful sleep is a room 50 feet away from a busy railroad street crossing, with trains blowing their whistles loudly every 5-20 minutes, this is the place for you.I can’t understand how a hotel could even operate like this. Photo is the view from my room, of a train rolling through.Worst sleep at any hotel I have ever had.

Very nice staff but the housekeeping service is below convenient. By policy, they are not trusted to be in one's room unless the traveler is IN THE ROOM. If you need towels or TP or coffee or light bulbs, you have to wait IN THE ROOM for delivery or fetch it from the front desk yourself. This is greatly inconvenient. So, I return from my day's event at 9:30p and have no supplies in the room.No card in the room explains this. I would not stay here again.

We had the Most Wonderful Stay! Everyone is Friendly and Helpful!! Our Room Is So CLEAN just about like Brand new. I really Appreciate when the room does not have carpet , but flooring instead. We Travel with Our two labs and they were welcome in the Beautiful Lobby Area!! It is Ckean and SAFE outside to get the pups out for their walks and Potty!! We cannot wait to return with our adult children and take them on a White River Raft excursion!! Thank You Very Much!Rooms: The Rooms are Very clean Spacious comfortable and Relaxing. Plenty of room for us and the big labs to Rest Comfortably after a full Day of Adventuring.Walkability: There is A Great Market that has everything that you need to pack up for your daytime Adventures. The Restaurant is connected to the lobby and is open until 9. The staff is wonderful and the food is Incredibly delicious! You can order Special local dishes. My Huspand had the Breadboth nights. Tues Taco and then the next night served with Stew. We are beyond HAPPY!

This was a great place to stay. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bathroom cabinet had a lot of room. Beds were comfy. We didn’t hear any train noise during our stay. Staff was friendly. Restaurant food was good. Really enjoyed the frybread taco. I did have to ask for towels and toilet paper at the front desk as no one came in the room at all during our stay. That may be how they operate since COVID though. Wifi was pretty spotty as was my cell reception. We did think we would be closer to the Grand Canyon. Be aware if you stay here it is 2 hours from any of the Grand Canyon attractions. I think they do have white water rafting right here and a 10 mile hike down and 10 mile back up but we did not do those. Overall I really enjoyed the lodge and the atmosphere and would recommend it.

Ate breakfast at the restaurant. Delish!! And since peak tourist season seems to be winding down, service was great. Nice and quiet. Amazing steak and eggs. 😋Food & drinks: Great food, good prices.

My son and I stayed here the night before our Havasu backpack as it was one of the closest locations to do so. The place looks rather new and the room was clean. It's definitely not a run down place. The beds were average comfort. The biggest negative was that it was right by the railroad tracks and there were a LOT of trains running all day and night. They did provide complimentary ear plugs and they did help. If you are a light sleeper you will want to ask for a room on the highway side and not the backside were the train tracks are located. The room did the job and we ended up well rested. Not as good as a Marriott but better than Super 8.

What would have been a perfect stay - had a very bitter taste at the end. Rooms were perfect. Dining was very slow the day we came in but acceptable as it is a remote location where staffing can be difficult. The restaurant was very slow but eventually served great food. Was not NOT ok was that we left a laptop bag to pick up on our way out and were charged $25 plus taxes per day - daylight robbery. While $25 was mentioned it was not told it is per day. Even any charge for a hotel guests (we were 11 )- and left only one small bag is not acceptable.Such practices dont bode well in the long run.

A little bit noisy at night because there's a railroad on the back, trains pass all the time blasting the horn.A nice hotel to prepare yourself for a rafting adventure on the Colorado river.

Given all the reviews of this Lodge, this is how you decide whether to stay there or not.If you can sleep through all night with, a freight train blowing its horn near a crossing 50 m away from the hotel, 6 to 8 times every hour, then stay here.If you choose to cancel a second night prepaid booked accommodation because you couldn’t sleep the first night, and you are happy for the manager to refuse refunding your cancelled accommodation, then stay here.If you are happy to stay at a hotel, that purposely does not describe the fact that the freight train runs through the night, then stay here.If you think that the reception having a box full of earplugs to block out the noise for guests at night is funny, and they are joking, Stay here. Please stand up to such poor conditions and poor customer service by voting against staying here. And if it is the only place to stay because you have booked the river rafting tour the next morning at 6.30 am then still don’t stay here. You will need to decide whether it is worth coming from alternative accommodation, an hour away or not choose to do with the tour.

The Hualapai Lodge was a great base pre and post our Havasupai hiking trip. The rooms were sparkling clean and the beds comfy. The pool was fantastic 👌🏼 We also ate in the restaurant and the service and food were good. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were lovely and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the lodge if you have activities based out of Peach Springs.Rooms: Super clean, with mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave.Noteworthy details: The salt water pool and spa were amazing after a hiking trip.

Not a very big meal, but since we weren't super hungry we were able to split one meal and it was the perfect size in that instance. The coffee was way overpriced though, 3.50 for regular coffee. We really wanted fry bread but they didnt have any

The hotel is probably the best as far as updates in the area. It was clean and had a wonderful little restaurant and gift shop. The TV did not work and that was kinda disappointing. But other than that, the room was good.We stayed here after our trip to Havasupai Falls where we had hiked in 12 miles, camped three nights and hiked out 12 miles. We were tired and needed showers desperately. I had reservations here at this hotel to rest and get cleaned up. The first front desk agent - Miss Montana, was SO sweet, professional and accommodating. She found our reservation immediately and told us our room was not quite ready and we would need to come back at 4 pm. We were ok with that - even though we were tired and ready to take a shower and rest. We decided to eat at their restaurant and the staff there were also so professional and accommodating and the food was excellent. We then had to wait a few hours and could find nothing to do in the small town so we ended up waiting in the parking lot in our car and just resting. When 4pm rolled around, we went to check in - but, another girl was at the front desk. This front desk girl was very short and proceeded to tell me we did not have a reservation. I got out the confirmation number and she still insisted we had no reservation . I explained to her that Miss Montana had found it no problem and had instructed us to wait until 4 pm and come check back in and our room would be ready. But the front desk girl insisted she could not find our reservation. I asked her to call her manager and she did. I explained to the manager that I had shown the girl our confirmation number and email - and that Miss Montana had found it no problem. Then thankfully, Miss Montana came back out to the front desk and remembered me. She again was so helpful and sweet. I explained to her what was happening. Miss Montana said sometimes the computers mess up when the weather is bad (it had started to rain) and apologized for the trouble. Then the other rude front desk girl - she remained rude and curtly ask to see the e-mail with the amount I paid listed on the e-mail to me from Book-it along with the confirmation number and date. Thankfully I had kept the e-mail from BookIt and could find it. Once I showed it to her - she then curtly ask for my ID and credit card number (which I had already given earlier to Miss Montana) but I complied and Andes all that over to her immediately. The rude front desk girl then had me fill out a paper where they needed my license plate number in addition to my car make and model. Such a hassle… but Miss Montana was so sweet and should be promoted. The curt girl had earlier told me that Miss Montana was new and probably looked at the wrong information. But in fact, Miss Montana had it right the entire time and was very professional, pleasant and accommodating the entire time. Anyhow - Miss Montana even stopped by our room later and brought a little gift from the gift shop as a way of apologizing for the hotel for the trouble. Again, very sweet and went out of the way to be professional and accommodating …. Truly should be your lead front desk girl so she can teach others about true customer service. So anyhow, most of the staff were very professional - but the one girl needs to be more accommodating and thorough when dealing with her customers because she was trying to just send us down the road and it took me having to talk to her manager and push the issue just to get the room I had already reserved, paid for and had a written confirmation number for. For this reaso. - I have to give this hotel a 4 instead of a 5. But want to say thanks again to Miss Montana for all of her help!

We stayed here as it was recommended on the official sites for the Canyon but it is nearly a two hour drive to the Grand Canyon West. The room was accessible for a wheelchair user, was very large. Couldn't get a wheelchair between the Queen beds. Light switches and wall sockets are NOT accessible, there is a towel shelf by the toilet which makes the toilet transfers a challenge. There are NO grab rails in the shower, so all in all although it says accessible there is definitely room for improvement! Trains run 24hrs per day and sound their horns at the extremely busy intersection, it's a 24hr service. There was NO mention of the railroad track at all on any publicity. The restaurant was takeaway only in the evening. Breakfast was good value and huge!

I'm surprised no one mentioned that the only place to eat is at the hotel. That (at least with my carrier) you can get cell service. And the main attraction here is the sky walkway , is the main attraction. It starts at $64.And most importantly, trains run behind the hotel at least twice an hr. Tho I'm not bothered by mechanical noises. also 4 hr round trip drive to the south rim area. I shoulda done homework.

I would not recommend this hotel. The staff at the front desk are not kind nor pleasant to talk to. They are not service orientated. I stayed here 11 nights and had to ask to have my room cleaned. I had multiple packages delivered to me at the hotel and the staff said that I would have to walk across the street to the post office and pick up the hotel mail in order to get packages. I asked for an early check-in for an 11 night stay and I was told no and the hotel was mostly empty. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels globally and I would not recommend this hotel unless you have to stay and have no needs. I did not try the restaurant..Noteworthy details: hotel staff are not service orientated
