Had Avalon Roofing come out to repair a leak on my roof in Sept of 2012 right after the monsoons cleared out. Leak was determined to be where the roof transitioned from Tile to Shingle runner for the A/C unit. Paul told me it was because the underlayment was curling up due to age and he jsut needed to use tar to glue it down and water would no longer be able to get under it. Took the bucket of tar up there and said it was all good. Rain last weekend came through and same spot leaked. Contacted him and refused to warranty the repair.Got up there myself to fix it, NO NEW REPAIRS TO BE FOUND. There was absolutely no new tar anywhere there. I don't know if my repair will hold but at least I know I actually tried and put up some tar in the spots that appear to let the water under.VERY SHADY.
