The overall experience was disappointing from the beginning. The lady who originally stopped by to quote us didn't effectively communicate with the gentleman who took over. After we found out she wouldn't be returning, we kept getting told, "we're on the same page, no need to worry." As it turns out, we weren't on the same page at all because multiple aspects of the project were misunderstood. We were told to pick out materials that TiBuild would then purchase for us (sink, backsplash, grout, faucet), only to find out weeks later they hadn't been ordered and the items we wanted were no longer available. We provided the contact information for the company that installed all the other cabinets in the house to TiBuild so that the new cabinet they would be installing would match. When the wrong cabinet was ordered and installed we were told "that it wasn't communicated to TiBuild that the expectation was for the cabinet to match." A detailed note was left for TiBuild outlining the measurements we wanted for our new island. After the granite had already been cut, it was discovered that the portion of the note which specifically said 72" deep was ignored and a 42" piece of granite was ordered. The backsplash tiles were installed uneven and crooked. Although an attempt was made to rectify that situation, it's still painstakingly obvious that an amateur did most of the tile work. If we had it to do over again, we would have absolutely opted out of working with TiBuild. I’ve remodeled a kitchen before and in my previous experience, the contractor was sure to communicate even the smallest details with me. I will say that working with Devin was the silver lining out of all this. He was professional, responsive, and the only team member that seemed to take pride in the work of TiBuild.

This was for a casita remodel. The problems with this company would be too long for a review. I will just say I have been involved with a lot of construction, including a 4000 sq foot restaurant. This was a 650 sq ft remodel and was the WORST experience of my life. Truly. The frustration was unbelievable. In that entire time of 10 months I never met the owners once, not once. Feel free to PM me on messenger if you want details. They have nothing but a 1 star on YELP as well. Wish I'd seen that first.
