Travek is wonderful to work with and a completely customer first company. The workmanship is excellent, and the people I worked with superb. I was quoted 4 to 6 weeks for my master and hall baths to be completely renovated and they were finished at 5 weeks. It looks fantastic! They helped with the design, materials selection and did not stop until they were certain that I was happy with the choices. They were the only company to offer a complete design to help me decide if I wanted to use their services up front. They were more expensive but the quality and total package was what I needed as I work many hours and didn't have time to also forman a project. They were very conscientious about cleanup as well. Give them a try and you'll be glad that you did. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We are thankful we went with Travek for our kitchen remodel. Amanda was the start of this journey. We did not think a bigger kitchen could be possible for our house but when she said she had a few ideas in mind, she wasn’t kidding. We loved the design she showed us. She was easy to work with during the “shopping” phase.Our lead carpenter was John. Let me tell you about John. He had to demo our entire kitchen and living space to make an open concept. The demo (4 walls, kitchen ceiling, ground and kitchen counters) and building was done by himself, with no help!!! I contracted TraVek for a bathroom remodel. They immediately sent out one of their designers (Amanda). Amanda listened to all our needs and worked up a path forward. We decided to remodel two bathrooms at once. After that, Amanda took all our input and built up an amazing design plan. She reviewed it with us and helped us pick out materials. We would have been lost without her guidance. Once we were all settled on the design, we scheduled a start date for the work.Our master carpenter Jesse was fantastic. He and his crew were always extremely professional. Throughout the process, they kept the house spotless so you couldn't even tell the bathrooms were being remodeled after they left for the day. Jesse explained all the work as it was being done and reviewed everything with us at the end of each day. The work done was top notch and the bathrooms look amazing!

I met with Don Dvorak and requested a total remodel of my home. I was so impressed with him. He was professional, and reasuring about every step it would take to get to that request done. TraVek completed a full home remodel for us and they did a terrific job. We really liked how they were a one-stop shop design and construction team. Their designers sat with us and developed some very creative ideas that no other builder or interior decorator had suggested. It was such an easy and convenient process working with their team. They helped us create a full kitchen makeover, new flooring throughout, all new bathrooms, new interior paint, and some updated farmhouse finishes like wood beams in the ceilings and rock fireplaces. Importantly, TraVek finished the entire project exactly on schedule (four months of construction for the entire home)! We were very pleased with their quality and craftsmanship, and would highly recommend their services. This company over-promised and under-delivered. The work of their contractors and staff was very good. Jessie was great! The problem was their project management. Originally they promised us a date in which they could complete, which was Nov 15th. This was one reason why they got the job. The job finished exactly 70 days late. I've got the email that says they'll try to get it completed by November 15th. The only delay they had was 2 weeks for the cabinets. They were delayed 1 more day when I had a problem with their third party payment system. I thought it had gone through, then realized it hadn't. They didn't say a thing to me except delayed the ordering of materials. It was quite difficult to pay them until I finally talked to their controller who simply took my credit card on November 20th. After that, there were numerous delays and false promises. At the end, the project manager, Jaryd, tries to tell us the hardware on the cabinets was not part of their pricing. I showed him the picture they sent us, but he still tried to say that they were doing it at cost after I argued with him. This was not a good experience and I won’t recommend them. It cost us a lot of time and money with the 70 day late finishing. They never cleaned up. We had to do it all ourselves after we arrived in a mess. The mold issue was resolved in two days, but they use this as another excuse. We do not live in Phoenix, so we had hoped they’d help with a few things. Their attitude was always, “that’s not our job”. For instance, a piece of tile was chipped off by one of our contractors who we hired to take out water damaged drywall. We didn’t know this. Travek just put the baseboard over the large chip in the tile. Now we’ll have to take it off and get someone else to fix. We didn’t even know until we arrived that the chip was there. Not a well managed project.Now, at least 2 months after completion, I cannot get a price for the two countertops we purchased through Travek. My insurance company demands this and I've gotten the runaround from everyone I've spoken to at Travek and not one person has contacted me back. I'm on my 5th phone call. They appear to be purposefully not trying to deal with me.Most insurance companies demand an itemized list and Travek is refusing to itemize these countertops. DO NOT use these people as they will cost you.

Schedule a roofing repair estimate with travek- and got a bad experience right of the back.Grant the rep that was going to come out- called me in advance to secure a yes without coming to my home and checking what my roof needs. I had a different qoute from a company and grant stated he didn’t want to waste his time if I wasn’t going to buy today from him. Without meeting the guy or getting a report- he was trying to sell me already. Not a way to do business.“If I get you a qoute under or the same price that the other company gave you are you going to sign today. If not I do not want to waste your time or mine” those were his words.Sorry but your rep grant really makes you guys as a company look bad if you have reps not willing to invest time into potential clients. I would not recommend grant or travek at all if this is how he handles himself and is part of your company. I would give a zero stars if it was possible.

Roxie and Don,I wanted to include both of you on this email because I’m not sure which of you is responsible, but you should know how grateful we are that you guys have given us Rodney to handle our renovations. I realize I am not in the business so my opinion might not carry the weight it should, but I have been dumbfounded by the amount of work he and Christian have accomplished in just two days. The even more impressive thing about it is that you normally have to trade something for speed and I can’t see anywhere that he has sacrificed in order to achieve that pace. It is the cleanest job site I have seen when I walk in the house at night at the end of the day. Travek, Inc demolished a Four Seasons modular sun room under my covered porch and rebuilt a lovely Arizona room with standard construction including a raised foundation and fully framed walls. The quality of construction was excellent and surpasses that of my 30-year-old UDC track home. The room, about 400 sq ft, cost about $45K and included 4 dual pane windows, 2 Arcadia doors and one standard door. The room is a lovely and practical addition to my home. My only complaint is they gave me a too rosy picture of the project duration which was 75% over the original 8-week estimate when done. Most delays were out of their control (city inspections, sub-contractor availability, etc) but I would have been a bit less frustrated if I'd had a more reasonable expectation of the time needed. All company personnel were easy to work with - Particularly the project supervisor,/Mgrs, Mark & David. I highly recommend this builder to anyone.

I was reluctant to do a kitchen remodel because it is a major undertaking. I should not have waited so long. Dan has made this process nearly perfect. His design suggestions and research have shown that he understands the ‘look’ that I want and how best to accomplish it. I would recommend Dan and Travek without reservation!UPDATE 7/11/2023Google will not allow me to write a second review, so I am adding on to the original.The work is complete and my kitchen makes me so happy. Dan Schmidt did the design work and it could not be better... it is everything I wanted. We were creative with some of the design elements and he figured out how to make them work. He took great care to understand what was important to me so the end result would be what I envisioned. The amazing Rodney was able to bring the design to life and his work was precise, detailed and perfect. He made sure that I had a working sink throughout the process, and that was a godsend. He was very attuned to the little things that make a huge difference. He was neat and tidy and the jobsite was cleaned up (and vacuumed) at the end of each day. Roxie made sure that we were all on the same page throughout and that I was thoroughly satisfied with the result. She was almost as excited as i was when the project was done. I never saw Bill, the "counter guy", but the counters are perfect and there is only one un-noticeable seam. They look great! Rudy did the paint and my kitchen and cabinets are transformed. Last, but not least is Barb, the receptionist. She was always cheerful, helpful and made me believe no request or question was small or dumb.My TraVek team is simply the best and I will love my kitchen for many years and family dinners to come..... Very disappointed with the service and quality of work. Especially for a property that cost me about $500 a sq ft. Scott who was our original salesperson seemed great. Said he would take care of my mom and make sure the place we’re building would be safe. Unfortunately the place when finished was not safe nor did they follow what Scott promised. He left a few months after we signed with him (personnel leaving during this project ends up being an issue). We never received a schedule or got to review final design.When starting the foundation they used dirt we had from our pool we saved for the house build. Unfortunately, they first placed the pad in the wrong spot the plans had it 4 feet over. When it rained it wash away the foundation (we videoed). We tried to let the super intendant (SI) know, After a few weeks of getting no response (becomes a reoccurring issue). We found out that person is no longer with the company (this happened 6 times).The framing unfortunately didn’t go well. This is a rectangle with a wall in the middle. They placed the main kitchen wall off by 6 inches causing the cabinet to not fit (amateur hour).The dry wall and stucco made multiple mistakes. Areas missed and metal wire were visible where they didn’t stucco. They never had someone inspect the work of their contractors, requiring us owners to do it.The tile contractor did a fantastic job, tile was install very well.Cabinets looked great except with all the turn over of people the project was behind schedule, cabinets were delivered 6+ months early being stored in our main house garage. One large cabinet didn’t fit due to the framing issue and cabinets were the wrong color that had to be rebuilt.Countertops look great except the island doesn’t have the original overhang. When it was brought up to our 4th SI he pretty much said they knew it was shorter, they didn’t want to order the right size b/c they would have to pay for it and they had nothing they could do with the one they already had.The framing issue caused the shower design to be off, requiring 6 more inches of tile, causing nothing to be centered.They completely forget the shower door, and tried to tell us we had to deal with it. They did fix the issue but it shows how amateur this company is and how quick they are to blame the customer or put building a house responsibilities on the customer.Electrical was not done correctly. We have a 200 amp box that is split between the main house and this smaller house. When Scott was designing our place he said they would have to upgrade our box to a 400 amp box. It wasn’t done, every time they changed SI’s we brought it up and said they would take care of it. They were trying to wrap up the project and the PM refused to do it after all. We showed them evidence with Scott and other SI’s stating it would be done and in the end Dave (PM) said it wasn’t happening. They are not a company of their word. Dave said they would do it but only under a change order and for $10,000+.They didn’t build any kind of walk way or steps to the front door. There is about 30 degree angle to entry. Vary unsafe for a 70+ old lady to walk into. My mom has already slipped.Clean up was extremely poor. Each contractor would leave trash and never clean it up. We had to do most of the cleanup on our own. If there was a PM over looking each contractor they would have made sure clean up was done correctly. We asked multiple times for clean up. The 6th SI finally said he would clean up once we gave him our final payment. I found this vary disrespectful. We’ve never made payment to the SI, it was all handled by their office.I don’t recommend this company. They know that most of there customers don’t deal with projects like this (easy to take advantage of) and they will make promises they won’t uphold. If you do use this company I recommend you record them during meetings.
