Please be wary of this guy! I was charged $350 for Ron to show up at my house (at the incorrect time) and he spent literally no more than 5 minutes diagnosing the leak on the side of my house.Long story short, his diagnosis was COMPLETELY incorrect and due to his advice, I had the plumbing company cut the wrong pipe.I now have no water going to the hose bib on the side of my house, and the plumbing company had to come out three more times to fix the correct pipe.I still had to pay $350 and Ron didn't seem to care at all, and he didn't even attempt to offer a partial refund after his screw-up. Now I have no hose water being supplied on the side of my house :(Ron: PLEASE take a bit more time diagnosing leaks to get it right.

THE BEST!! I have a leak that 3 different plumbing companies could not find. I then was recommended to Sherlock Leak Detection and they have all the RIGHT EQUIPEMENT to properly analyze and detect the leak. The representative Amit was SUPER knowledgeable, professional and was able to find the leak under pavers and grass. It was impressive that he knew about plumbing and the sprinkler system as well. i would 100% recommend this company. I have a Flume water monitor and it detected a small leak that was running 24/7. I checked everything in and outside my house and could not find anything leaking. I called Sherlock and they came out the next day, Amit was my service tech. He was great, easy to communicate with and did a great job finding the leak. He had a bunch of different tools and techniques to track down the leak. Turns out a tree in my yard grew into my main water line coming into the house. It was deep in the ground so I never saw water in the area. Amit located the area where he thought the leak was and put a blue X mark. Next day a plumber dug up the dirt and found the leak right were Amit put the X mark. Great service and happy I used Sherlock.

Never have I experienced such an unprofessional company in all my experience. These guys came out and were supposed to detect a water leak in our kitchen. They spent 30 min and charged 300 dollars to mark every pipe incorrectly. They marked the hot water line as a cold water line and where they said the leak was completely incorrect. After tearing up the floors and breaking the foundation the plumber found that the leak was in a different area that they didn't even mark as having a pipe in and going in a completely different direction. They had to widen the whole remove more of the floor and break more of the foundation to access the pipe. Not only did Sherlock leak detectors not detect the leak properly. When I called the owner to explain what happened and understandably get my money back since they failed completely. He was condescending and said that it's not their fault they couldn't find the pipe, that they were close enough in discovering it and didn't even care that his company messed up a job and cost us thousands extra because we had to re-dig. I will be bringing this company up with the better business bureaus. I highly recommended everybody stay away from this company. It's sad to see that a company that supposedly has good reviews won't stand behind their job and correct their mistakes.

I had a slab leak and the plumber advised me to call a leak detector to determine the location of the leak. I called Sherlock on the weekend and asked if they could come on Monday. He came on Monday, on time and completed the job in about an hour. He marked the pipe path with tape and we marked an X where he determined the source of the leak was. Turns out he was off by 4", excellent detection (well in the range of where the plumber had to break the concrete). He also marked where we could re-route the pipe if we wanted to go that route. On sunday morning we noticed water on our tile floor. Our plumber said it was a slab leak and advised we contact a leak detection to mark the location so he can repair the pipe. I found Sherlock on Yelp and they answered my call on a Sunday and were able to schedule shortly after. The technician mark where the pipe is in the slab and listened with special microphones to mark the location of the leak. The best part is that he talked to my plumber and figured a way to re-pipe the line through the wall and avoid damaging the flooring and actually saved us a lot of money and minimize damages. I'm ery satisfied with the care and attention.

Great experience with Sherlock. We had an irrigation leak at our facility and I called Ron and he was very responsive from the first time I spoke with him.After showing him the leak, he got straight the work. He came prepared with his equipment and all the tools necessary to quickly diagnose where the leak was originating. We found the leak which was a huge relief.Friendly people and great service. I would definitely recommend and use this company again if we have any future water leaks.

Mysterious leak that not my Gardner or my plumber could locate was found by Sherlock. They had high tech equipment that helped identify the location of the Break in the pipe which was actually under a concrete slab in the backyard. Very happy with the service able to come out same day I called.

Straight to work upon arrival. Answering may of his questions with regards to all locations that may be leaking, we felt very confident. The leak unfortunately was awhile back and took us 4 months to realized that we have water leak. Called him yesterday and he told me to check my toilets first cause he doesnt like charging people for things they can do themselves. I did the test and we have a water leak. He was busy but he came out of his way to come from Woodland hills to burbank. We know its an hour traffic and he showed up. Right away we were comfortable talikng to him. He is kind and explained in detail what he was doing and how he would find it with his gadgets. In no time after going around the house, he told us where the leak was. He eliminated everything and our suspicions were correct. Where the sprinkler head was under the concrete, thats were the leak was.Our friend's friend gave us his name. We checked reviews saw a 5 review in Yelp, and we decided to go with him. So glad we did not go with the other 2 that we were considering.THANK YOU Ron. If you have to deal with a leak or issues surrounding a leak you really want some one who doest ruin your day. Sherlock Leak are those people you want to call, very nice and friendly people who know what they are talking about. They didn't try to over sell or make a bigger issue out of something small.
