It’s unbelievable how people can afford this plumbing company. They quoted us $5800 to install a utility sink with a custom faucet at an existing previous sink location where the wall has been sealed. I couldn’t afford that, so I asked him to give me another quote, I will remove an old sink cabinet at a different location and have him hook up that utility sink there. He quoted me $3200. Told me he has to build and modify the sink for the faucet (putting together a plastic tub sink with 4 legs and drilling a center hole for the faucet?). I tried to explain to him that i can get the sink ready, remove the previous sink cabinet, exposing the lines, all he has to do is to hook up the new utility sink. He ignored my request, and told me it’s a 3 hours job, $3200 is firm. If you can’t afford that quote, you paid $80 and they will be on their way. Money is hard to earn folks, I’m not being an *** but DO NOT PAY this estimate fee even if you agreed over the phone. Especially when they are not willing to match with other local company quotes. If they can make $3200 in 3 hours or $5800 in 6 hours, they can afford someone to go out and give you a free estimate.

Waste of $79. I understood the truck roll fee of $79 and it would be waived if you decide to purchase services with them, but I wasn’t expecting them to come and quote a $5,000 job. Technician did give me several options but they all ranged from $2,700-$5,000 to replace 3 toilets. Told the technician thanks but no thanks and he called his manager who “magically” dropped the price $2,000 down to make it $3,000 to replace 3 toilets. I called another local plumbing company and they quoted me less than half of what Attaboy Plumbing quoted me at AFTER the $2,000 discount. Disgrace of a company trying to take advantage of people knowing damn well they are either going to get an easy $79 fee or a way overpriced job. I’ll make sure to let everyone else know to stay away from Attaboy Plumbing.Editing to reply to their reply:Had nothing to do with being able to afford the services or not, it’s shady business practice to do a “manager” call and then all of a sudden be able to drop the price $2,000 more dollars. I’m happy with the company I went with who doesn’t utilize used car salesman tactics. Your reply is exactly how I imagined it would be with your shady business.

This recent experience was my second using AttaBoy Plumbing ! The first was for water heater issues we had been having at my residence. AttaBoy Plumbing was able to see us that day and replaced our water heater and got us back on track. My second experience was concerning a leaking kitchen faucet at my parents residence . I spoke with Erica ( she was amazing ) and she was able to get Mike here the same day to take care of everything! Mike had everything on hand he needed to take care of us !! New kitchen faucet and connections later we were leak free!! Mike was great !! Answered all our questions, addressed all our concerns!! Contacted Attaboy for a leak detection, Calvin showed up within 45 minutes of my call, Was very friendly and attentive found that my pool shut off valve needed to be, Replaced it and the job was complete within an hour. Very fast and friendly service! Definitely recommend!

We recently had some work done by Attaboy plumbing and the work and technician were all good- no problems but when it came to the final cost of it, I was shocked with how high the cost was. I fully understand inflation etc.. but since this was an insurance claim I went and did some research into the parts used and labor time etc. It turns out cost of parts was around $150 to $300 with expense added by the company lets go with the higher number $300 so the technician was there under 2 hours and my total for the job was $1200 and change…With logic I am to believe the labor was $900---are they for real $450 an hour labor. I mean the total job was under 2 hours with parts. I was a contractor my self for 12 years- in the past and I wish I could charge this amount. I called the company for a precise bill, but they gave several excuses and refused. My home insurance company is telling me it should not have been over $500 total and they won’t pay this outrageous bill. I have talked to several other local firms, and it falls into $500 to $750 job range (still high) but nothing like Attaboy Plumbing.Please tell your customers your labor rate before starting any job I did when I was a contractor.Take my advice -Call around first before using Attaboy Plumbing.If Attaboy plumbing could reply please?

They would not give rates over the phone. Came to my house wanted to charge over 600 to snake a drain, 1700 to run a sprayer down it. And 75$ consultation fee for showing up. Nope.Technician was friendly and nice.He gets the gold star.

The worst plumbing experience of my life. I think the guy who came out thought he was pulling a fast one on us and price gouged us like crazy. I was told it would be over $550 PER HOUR for work which is absolutely insane. They also never followed up with me like they said they would but I will NOT be using them anyway so good riddance!

tldr: they charge for the attempt, meaning if they can't fix the problem you still pay full price. I only got a 15% refund4 weeks ago I called Attaboys to fix a clog. A person came and used an auger but was unable to fix the problem. He said it was a main line clog. I was charged 350 for them to not fix the problem and give me wrong information. I called my landlord and they contacted Earl's plumbing. They came and did a simple diagnostic test (turned on the shower and flushed the toilet) to see if it was a main line clog. After determining it wasn't a main line clog, they used an auger and fixed the problem. Earl's charged me a 7th of what Attaboys charged me and Earl's actually fixed the problem. I called Attaboys to get a refund and after 4 weeks of calling (a whole month) I was able to talk to a manager who gave me a 15% refund. I am only 15% satisfied so you get 0.75 of a star out of a possible five.edit: I saw their reply and I contacted them and it was the same number that I called before. Hopefully this time it won't take 4 or 5 weeks to hear back from them.

Had an issue with my tankless water heater and wasn't getting hot water anymore. Called and they said they could come out the following day either 8 to noon or noon to 4 and that they'd call or text when they were on the way. I opted for the 8 to noon slot so I'd at least have the second half of the day free. I would have to cancel my birthday plans, but I figured it was worth it to have hot water again sooner rather than later, so I was ok with it. Morning rolled around and every time my phone rang I was expecting it to be them. Nope, never was. 1pm rolled around and I was getting pretty annoyed at the lack of communication. I understand delays happen, but there's been zero communication and I don't like my time wasted when I'm basically stuck waiting around all day because I can't leave town until after they've come. So, I call them and am very polite and understanding and the receptionist has the plumber call back a few minutes later. He says there's been a lot of emergency calls today (apparently a lack of hot water in the winter doesn't count, so the other emergencies must have been pretty gnarly 🧐) and they're running a bit behind (yeah, I already figured that out) but that I'm still on the schedule for today. Nothing useful with any kind of actionable timeline, but swell. I continue waiting around all day and finally get a call at a quarter after 3 where the guy says yeah, we aren't going to make it to you today; we'll have to reschedule you for tomorrow. Didn't apologize or ask if tomorrow would even work or anything, just rudely assumed. I told him don't bother rescheduling and left it at that. I'm somewhat astonished that he actually suggested it considering how they'd done today. Incredibly rude waste of time and zero useful communication from them about it so literally my whole day was wasted for nothing and without an ounce of remorse or concern. I understand delays and rescheduling happen, but it's not acceptable to never actually update your customer or let them know what to expect (even when they actively seek you out after you're already very late with zero communication) and then be arrogant and feel entitled to their business after completely wasting an entire day of theirs when I could have actually kept my plans if they'd been remotely professional or had common courtesy and kept me informed. Zero out of ten, do NOT recommend, don't waste your time with these guys. Although shout-out to the receptionist because she was actually professional and considerate and it wasn't her fault at all.

This is in reply to the response from Attaboy plumbing:I'm not complaining about the work you did. I'm complaining about the price. YOU LITERALLY GOUGED US!!!! It was not our problem that your technician did not have the proper equipment on his truck where he had to call another technician out for more line. According to your technician that cost us an additional $300!!! As far as we're concerned this was very poor planning on your part.And as far as the Hydro Jet procedure....in our opinion it is just another way for you make additional money for work that is not really necessary. We were quoted an additional $1,900 for that work!!!! That's insane!!!Just so you know, we had another company out in April of this year that did exactly the same thing that you did and they charged us less than $300 TOTAL!So tell me how is it that your company can charge us $1,035 for the same thing. That's crazy!!!And....by the way...your technician said you would be emailing us a copy of the bill. We never got it. You managed to get your money though. What kind of outfit are you!!!Like I said....DO NOT CALL ATTABOY PLUMBING FOR ANYTHING!!!! We certainly learned our lesson!Original complaint is as follows:DO NOT call these people for any plumbing work! I don't care how desperate you are! The only thing they know is how to rip you off!!We just had them come out to check our lines for a blockage. They charged us $1,035 for a 2 hour call! And all they really did was run a snake through the line. They did not come prepared with an adequate amount of snake line, so claimed they had to charge us an additional $300 for one of their other workers to bring more line! That is crazy!Also, if it wasn't for my son being there who has construction experience, they wanted to do another procedure (which really wasn't necessary) that would have cost 2X more than what we had to pay!There is no Attaboy about this outfit! More like I-Don't-Know-What-I'm-Doing-Boy, so I can charge you twice as much!

Nothing but high praise for this team. They were fast to respond, and stayed on the job until it was complete, despite several challenges posed by a nearly 100 year old corroded pipe and muddy, wet conditions that required a sump pump to drain the crawl space underneath our home. Friendly, and patient and kept us informed of every step along the way. Happy to say the water is back on, and we will certainly be calling them again for any future needs.
