Just had a conversation with the owner John for a quote. This man is extremely impatient, rude, and obnoxious. According to the reviews here, it appears I am not the only one with the bad experience.I am glad I did further review of this company before a decision was made to use them.

There are similar concerns from others regarding the owner's arrogant attitude towards customers.This company put a new roof on my home in 2017. I am writing this review now for two reasons. The roof over my front door never leaked in the 3 years I had owned the home prior until John had to remove the rain gutter where two sections of the roof overhang came together. I texted this man several times over the past 5 years each time it rained never to get a response. I wanted to email to have it writing, but his website has not email contact. So in anticipation of the pending rainstorm for the next 5 days, I called today to express my concerns regarding the leak over my front door since there was a 10 year warranty. John was rude, arrogant, argumentive like two other people posted in their reviews. John was not professional to a past client and actually hung up the phone on me. When I tried to call back he refused to answer my call where his message says you will get a response in 4-6 minutes or respond to the texts with pictures that he asked me to send.There are were lots of roofing companies, but because of referral from a friend we chose JD roofing. It was like a bait and switch with him quoting one price knowing full well part of patio needed to be replaced and then he increased the price by an additional $3,000. Why didn't he put that in the original quote so I could have compared apples to apples with the other quotes. This guy was WAY overrpriced. Then he overorderd several packages of the shingles and his workers took them instead of refunding me the money. I saw them putting several packages on their truck when the job was over.I very much regret going with this company. Now everytime it rains, I have roof that leaks over my front door with no accountability from the owner. A home inspector also told me there is leak and rot on my patio from there the water is seeping through the roof. I tried to explain this also, but John was short and quick to ignore my concerns and hang up on me. There was already one leak after his poor work in 2017 and he had to come out and fix it once already.Save yourself a headache and thousands of dollars and choose a different roofing company. You have been warned.

Owner is extremely unprofessional, arrogant, and I'm not really sure how he has ANY positive reviews. Because I am more professional than he will ever be, I won't write out ALL the reasons for leading me to this post but just remember I tried to warn you here.Happy 2021 everyone and please remember to give your business and hard earned money to a true professional that actually deserves to have it. JD Roofing is NOT that place!

We had a steady rain coming in over our wooden bar in our property we were moving into... we got estimates to repair from a couple companies recommended to us, they told us we should tarp it and left us on our own... frantic since california is getting 7 years worth of rain right now, I googled roofers and JD Roofing was the first to come up... I called and got John who gave me a price and i asked when he can come (about an hour) 56 minutes later John was at our door!! He was friendly and got the roof tarped quick! He been doing this 31 years and also does 24 hr emergency jobs! He let us know our roof condition (terrible, which we knew) but also why! We asked him for a bid and he said he would be back out as soon as the rain stops (understandable, since he's getting tons of calls I'm sure). And he takes credit card, perfect for those unexpected issues! Highly reccommended!

I just called to make an appointment ,they make me staying home to meet the appointment time , but I really didn't know it will be a waste of time , the guy came his name is John, he wasn't happy from his face I can tell , almost angry , I showed him what is necessary to do for the roof , and all the sudden he was so angry and just walked out telling me that's too much work , and he left .
