I reached out to Alan when I needed a small job on just the ceiling of one room, and was on a strict budget. Some painters will not come out for a small job, but Alan heard what I needed and thoughtfully created a plan. From the get-go, he was friendly, clear in his communication, and honest about what he could accomplish.In terms of the specific job, I needed to patch and paint my ceiling, which was peeling away in one spot. As the damaged area was small and my budget was limited, we decided to touch up the area. Most of the other painters I'd contacted insisted I'd have to repaint the whole ceiling--which would have doubled the cost. However, Alan sent me his magician painter Abel, who rose to the challenge and did an incredible job with matching the color. These guys are experts in color matching and did an amazing job with the touch-up.Because Alan's rates are time-based and Abel was so efficient, he had a little free time left to help me touch up another area of my home. Both of these guys went over and beyond to help with that extra work, and I was thrilled with the results. In the end, I got more value from this team's work than I would have gotten with less experienced painters. Totally worth it, and highly recommend the company.

He provided my estimate over the phone and explained everything. The day the job started, Alan’s crew arrived exactly at 8 am. There were some last minute changes due to my decorator, but they took it all in stride. Alan and his team was pleasant the whole time. Alan and his team are top notch. They repainted my entire condo and it looked absolutely perfect when complete. They even catered to a strange carpentry fix that needed to be done.Before they left, they deep cleaned the place. There was no evidence that a whole paint crew had been in there for a few days. Our landlord gave us a small amount before move-in to paint over the dark brown walls in the dining/living room areas. I was in a bind trying to find a certified paint company to fit within our small budget and quick turnaround time. I found All Los Angeles Paint Company on Yelp and read the great reviews. I called Alan on a Monday with a brief description of the project and he was willing to work with my small budget and time constraints. He gave me a quote for labor and materials and coordinated everything by phone/text throughout the week. I gave him the paint color we wanted and he placed the order. Because he knew I was working with a small budget, he was able to use resources from a previous job to bring costs down for the ceiling paint and help us get the results we wanted. By that Sunday morning, Alan and his team of 4 painters, led by Raymundo, were in the house getting the job done. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but they were also able to paint over the dark blue bedroom walls and ceiling at no additional cost, all by 4:30 PM! I am very grateful that Alan and Raymundo took the time and care to ensure we were happy and pleased with the end product. We are now ready to move in and make the house a home. I would highly recommend working with All Los Angeles Paint Company and the amazing team they have there.

Can't say enough great things about my experience with Alan and his crew. The quality of their work and attention to detail all within a two day turn around was amazing. Alan is very hands on and keeps you informed every step of the way. His crew is punctual, focused and barely takes any breaks. Alan and his crew, have come through in a pinch for me for a second time, and hit a grand-slam home run, once again. The first time I worked with All Los Angeles Painting, we had an issue with a “mystery crack” in a wall that needed repair, requiring the repainting of the wall. At that time, we also asked Alan to paint our primary bedroom, closet, and some other areas that needed attention. His attention to detail, level of care and follow-through, and the outstanding quality of the work make him “my painter,” or “my guy” when I need any painting done. It’s just that good of a company.Most recently, I called on Alan to tackle a large job in a townhouse we were about to list for sale. This company is the wizard of paint. I first spoke with Alan and he walked me through the process and helped find a way to may our patch work job cost efficient and high quality. They helped source paint, brought all materials for our project, and showed up on time. I included before and after photos of just a few of our walls. The attention to detail is exactly what I require for my OCD tenancies. The straight line painted is perfect. I would do business with this company everyday of the week and twice on Sunday's. We really had a great experience with All Los Angeles. They showed up for an estimate ON TIME, they were honest and fair in their pricing (they are a higher end company in terms of quality and workmanship), and completed the job ON TIME. I must emphasize this as I was not having this experience with another company that I used in the past. Clean, crisp painting, detail oriented, and quiet. We could still run our home businesses while they painted the hallways, den, office, doors and cupboards. The best part, for me, was I was unable to pick my own colors. Alan did that with me. Alan and his guys were an absolute pleasure to work with. Although his quote comes a little higher than his competitors, it’s actually extremely competitive once you factor in the speed and quality of work. No other painting companies I spoke with had the manpower, attention to detail, or passion for paint. Time is money, and while others quoted 3-6 days of work for a 2 bedroom 1400 sq ft condo, Alan’s team was able to get it done in 2 days, which gave me extra time to pick colors and have my whole place painted before I moved in. I had a few visible drywall seams I wanted to fix, and Alan warned me that he would do his best, but the texture might not be able to be matched - well, his team completely overdelivered as the walls look absolutely flawless and the texture matched perfectly!! Alan was also a great help throughout the entire process - everything from picking colors to helping to find the best price for materials. His team while on the job were always on time and worked diligently. Their cleanliness is unmatched - my place looked cleaner after they left than it did to begin with!! Alan and his whole team were so fantastic from start to finish! Extremely detail oriented, communicative, honest, and high quality. We originally found him on yelp and reached out to get a sense of scope and pricing for exterior painting and Alan came to our house the next day to walk around and point out all the opportunity areas to make the house look better and gave us some color ideas. We then had to delay our start date for our exterior painting, but when we reached out over a year later, Alan immediately remembered us and still had all our notes! Even though the price of materials and labor had increased because of the pandemic, he still honored our original pricing, which was so appreciative. I was pleased to have All Los Angeles Painting Company repaint my condo. I called the office and Alan, the owner, answered the phone. He asked me several questions and was able to get me approximate pricing over the phone. He offered help with color selection and helped me get paint samples. I found All Los Angeles Painting Company 7 years ago when we moved into our house. Alan and his guys did a fantastic job on the interior for us. The edges were crisp, the paint is even and full on the walls. They took the time to do the prep work and it shows. Alan even had a rep from Sherwin Williams to work with us on the colors. We were really happy about how the paint job turned out.We are doing major renovation for our house and naturally I gave Alan a call. We have a general contractor who wants to use his own painter due to budget and other concerns so initially it did not work out with Alan. However, Alan is very generous with his time and knowledge that he would still advise us on what's the right way of doing the paint job.This is what bad paint job by other painter looks like: The mud and tape work by the gc's painter was decent. But the problems started showing up when they paint. We notice they do not do a lot of prep work. There was minimal sanding and masking. The paint on the edges were sloppy. After two coats of paint, the paint was still not full on the wall. They did another coat and it looked better. However, the real issues are with the doors and trims where the prep work and skills matter. We have new window casings in the kitchen, existing doors, new doors and wainscoting where poor prep work made the painted surface look horrible. They painted the existing doors over the construction dusts! No sanding on the new window casing, handrail, wainscoting. It looked worse than an average apartment grade paint job. They tried to make it right but still not much better.I was so disappointed and frustrated by the paint job from the general contractor. This is where Alan showed up with his superpower. Alan provided much needed support and knew he could do the paint job right. I had to hire Alan to make the paint better. They did a lot of sanding on the doors and casings - strip away two coats of paint to clean up the dusts underneath. They were able to use bondo and their magic to repair our doorway that was not protected and badly banged up during construction. It took a lot of manpower to sand, bondo, proper masking to make the details look so much better. My brand new upper cabinet was scratched and dinged up during vent hood installation. Alan's guy was able to sand it, spray paint 3 coats and it looks like nothing happened. The guys also sanded primed and painted the the exterior fascia properly.Alan works a little differently from most of the paint companies out there. Most painting companies would give you an all inclusive price for the job. Alan charges by the guys he send out to do the job. Customer pays for all the supplies and paint with his contractor pricing. So essentially he just charges for his skilled labor. It may seem like his charges are a lot higher than the other companies. But trust me, he knows how to paint the right way. The finished paint job is a guaranteed success and frustration free. Alan has been doing this for over 30 years and some of his guys are with him for 20 and 30 years. The same guys worked on our house 7 years ago are working on our house this time around.Everything is done over the phone and pictures via texts this time around. I was able to tell Alan my goal for the paint job and he gave me an estimate on how many guys we will need and for how many days. It may seem sketchy but it works when Alan is so experienced. They have the skills to make the paint job perfect, which means it will take more time and that equals more money. The first day a guy was spending a whole moring sanding a door frame. I did not need that door frame to be perfect. Just need it to be 80% so it's still better than the bad paint job. So I told Alan my goal and the guys were able to go faster to achieve what we really need to happen.It's a long review because I've been through a lot during this renovation. It may be so much piling on here, but the reason Alan and his crew get so many consistently high ratings is they are great at what they do. Alan communicates well and follows through on his commitments – he doesn’t over-promise and he delivers exactly what he says he will in the timeframes he says he’ll do it. His guidance is trustworthy, and his sharp eye means most if not all questions get answered before the crew shows up. He’s upfront about his service costing more than most, which I appreciated. But what I appreciated even more was the seamless, issue-free experience of his crew painting the inside of our house in two days.
