Finding the right contractor took my wife and I over 3 months. We interviewed 7 contractors, and they all sounded the same until Ray came along.During the first 30 minutes of our consultation, we knew he will be the one.He suggested his ideas and immediately changed our perspective.We signed up for the design and preliminary plans on the same meeting even though Ray insisted not to; and less than 4 weeks later, everything was ready for submission.We started the project 3 days before our scheduled start date, and the price stayed fixed as promised!!Ray and his team ensured that every inch was perfect on a daily basis, and they consistently followed up to ensure our satisfaction.We loved our new home but specially the kitchen!!!!The final result is exceptional, and we couldn't be happier!We highly recommend Ray and his team for any construction needs.Actual we already gave his number for two of our family members :)

Ray and his team did an excellent job with our home remodeling of a home we had just purchased. Due to a scheduling situation that worked out for both of us, we were able to get an excellent quote that was the most competitive out of a few that we were considering. We really appreciated how they were willing to come back after we had done some other renovations for final touch ups to make sure we were fully satisfied with the job. I absolutely can’t say enough to explain how much I enjoyed working with Ray. We did a large kitchen remodel, which included knocking down a wall and reinforcing a couple parts of the house to ensure house stability and we passed all city inspections easily. It was my first remodel and I was very nervous. Ray was my rock, he was VERY responsive, patient and made sure my wishes were all met and was very clear my wishes were his top priority. He also was very aware of my budget and stayed within it. I can’t wait to work with Ray again in the future and recommend him to all our friends. The quality of work speaks for itself. We have enjoyed and heavily use our new kitchen for almost a year now and everything looks and works just like the first day, thanks to Ray and his team.

As a first time homeowner I was a bit nervous at the beginning to remodel my house. Ray did give me the confidence to move forward with it. I knew from friends that I should expect delays and problems, but ray was able to not just start immediately but also to finish the job few days earlier before the agreed timeline. I choose to post the following review for a full house Remodeling that was done in the year of 2016 at my home in California with Ray Darmon and Ben Gross two good friends full of motivation and a desire to give me the best result & satisfaction, they worked in full cooperation and shared with me throughout what is to come. From the start of the first visit, to the foot print of the all house, to The Design and buy all the part that goes in the kitchen, bathrooms and more - cabinet, countertop, backsplash, shower fixtures, vanity, floors etc, I did not have much experience in designing colors and sizes etc. When I first chose the materials Ray explained to me why he did not recommend those specifically (which I'm sure another contractor wouldn't care) He took the time to explain me why and guided me what to choose, and I am grateful for it. Looking back I would not enjoy the original colors and sizes I chose at all, so it is important to choose contractor who will guide you the route and not just do the work itself. Working with Ray and his designers team was really an all-inclusive package, I can't say that wasn't couple of bumps along the way, but hey it's construction right? When I had a concern they always handled it as soon as possible, when Ray even showed at my house at 9:30PM to resolve an issue; and I really appreciate it. my project came out amazing and I get so many compliments from my family and friends. Couple of days ago I called Ray again for remodel my rental house and just started the design process again. I decided to write a review to describe my experience with this those two fellows and hopefully it will help others to understand how important it is to choose the right team for your dream Project!!

They are amazing.I asked them to do my kitchen and they did a wonderful job, great customer service and pricing.They will come and do just about anything you need done.They came out and didn’t take long on the kitchen renovation, it turned out absolutely gorgeous in less then 5 weeks.I couldn’t ask for anyone better to do the job for me.Y’all always are polite and get the job done and all Ray promised me and my husband happened!!They did a gorgeous porcelain countertop for me and I highly recommend.

This project was our second remodeling (we remodel for selling purpose and surprisingly the house has been sold 9 days after)On our first consultation meeting, Ray asked many questions for understanding what is important for us, what is our schedule and what we are looking at in terms of cost and results.Out of five contractors we interviewed, we felt the most comfortable with Devart8 and we are very thankful we did it.Ray’s interior designer helped us to get all materials from big sales, then they started the demolition and other preparation while we were waiting for the permit.I definitely recommend to get the services of Devart8 for home renovations or any investments you plan.

Working with Ray and his team was an absolute breeze. Right from getting quotation to completing the work, Ray was very responsive and forthright about all the aspects. He patiently took time to understand our needs and also made many valuable suggestions drawing from his experience.The scope of the remodeling work at our home was very small. We had carpet on stairs and in the top floor which we wanted to replace with laminates. Was very satisfied with the pace and quality of work.

This company is made of people who really care about their customers.They continue to set their standards above any level of service I’d be except, ask, or even hope for.We had few issues but they were always here to update and trying to solve it quick-You definitely won’t find better service or quality.This time they rebuilt my home… more pics to follow: three bathrooms, kitchen, railing, flooring, structural and more.I would recommend to start with planing under Ray teams control and determining a budget soon as they start with house measurements;End results looks 99% the same!!

Devart8 construction crew are very talented craftsmen. We had a vision of using our existing powder room location to build a new bathroom. We didn't want to change too much framing work because we had our old water tank heater there. When I would send text message and pictures they didn't understand quite what I was talking about, but when they came over and I could explain better in person they planned it out and executed all my ideas flawlessly. When my husband and I asked for a detail to be changed they did it without any hesitation or questions and it was perfect. Melissa was the coordinator but Johani and his crew are the creative masters.The best part was that they were able to stay on budget and finish In our agreed timeline. I work from home and appreciated that they were respectful of that and made sure to work around me being at home. I am looking forward to getting more work done in the best future with them.

I have worked with different contractors in my life. Some are okay, some are horrible, and few are really top-notch.I can highly recommend Devart8 Construction as the top-notch contractor!We have planed our remodel for almost 2 years and after we finally submitted the blueprints to the city;My wife and I decided to change the layout twice.Ray (owner) is a super nice guy and very flexible as he understood how much the details are important for us!!Johani team has done an excellent job that saved the damage made by previous contractor.Johani is on top of everything, very patient with my requests which again change several times during the remodeling.Their price is not cheap but very competitive and most importantly Jhoani is always very responsive.I am really glad that I found them.

We contracted them to do out master and guest bathrooms. Devart8 did an excellent job. We got cheaper quotes from other places, but they didn't water proof the showers or provide a design specialists. Guys came on time everyday and even with almost 2 weeks delays due termites issue we had, they finished both bathrooms with final inspection in 5.5 weeks! if you are looking for someone to do your renovation right, look no further.

DevArt did great work, but what I really appreciate about Ray is his transparency. While working with a different contractor a few years ago, they ended up vastly underestimating our total costs; it was a nightmare. We were so anxious about that potentially happening to us again.Ray picked up on how nervous I was during the consultation. He gave me a detailed breakdown of the costs. He even explained how he tries to err on the side of higher estimates to ensure that what happened to me with the other contractor wouldn’t happen to me with him. When the final bill came in, it was less than what he’d estimated upfront. We used the extra in our budget to buy some furnishings for the new extension. So long as Ray’s around, I am never working with a different construction company again.

Ben from DevArt8 was great at assessing our project and accurately quoting the job.We have tried to save time and hired an external architect firm for creating the city blueprints we needed;But we found out that this was long and tedious nightmare.Ben immediately took control with his team and succeed to expedite the process for getting our permits.They were professional and polite from the beginning to the end.The project took little longer then expected due engineering mistakes, city wait times and some revisions that were needed.However, overall we are very grateful for Ben and Devart8 for helping us to build our dream home.A big THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE TEAM of DEVART8!DevArt8 is a one stop shop😊 and would use them for any future projects!
