Due to my residence's shallow pitch roof (2 in 12), I wanted an alternative to shingles and a higher quality material than torch-down asphalt rolls. Pioneer Roofing is experienced with TPO and PVC roofing. I chose the fully adhered PVC option and the Pioneer crew, with lead-man Henry, did a great job with this material. I heartily recommend them.

I give this company 5 stars+! From the moment we spoke, I was met with only the highest level professionalism. Spencer came to my home and provided me with a very thorough roofing quote. He took extra time with me to answer all my questions which was of great comfort as I’m a first time homeowner and this is my first time replacing a roof. He and his team are very knowledgeable, honest, and caring. The quote I received from Pioneer roofing was by far the most competitive. I hired them to do my roof and they did an outstanding job. The roof is impeccable. His team worked quickly and efficiently to have the project done. They took such care and pride in their work and it shows. Even in videos, friends of mine who are professional home designers noticed the quality of the roof. I called pioneer roofing after I discovered a pretty serious leak in my kitchen. From the start they put my mind as ease following up fast and showing so much kindness and professionalism. Spencer was great at giving alot of options to suit my budgetand listening to all my concerns. He wrote a detailed and skilled summary of how to properly address all the problems associated with my roof leak and followed up before another storm hit getting the job done perfectly by putting on proper flashing troubleshooting the entire area and replacing bad shingles. He was also is one of the friendliest people to work with. He warrantied the work and now I can finally have some peace of mind knowing that my roof is safe from damage. Alana and Spencer are a brother/sister team, and between the two of them, they made sure they got me a reasonable quote in a timely manner. Once I chose them, they quickly set up a day and time to get the work done. The crews showed up on time and finished my roof before the recent 08/2023 rains hit. Pioneer Roofing redid our roof's underlayment and fix our skylight after we discovered leaks during the rainy episodes in the winter. They were transparent during the whole process, explained where the issues were and what our options were. There was a bit of damage done to the drywall during the work and they promptly sent somebody to fix it. Pioneer did an excellent job replacing my roof in Carmel Valley. We opted for a lift and relay of existing tile in order to save a a little money on our job. We had quite a bit of termite damage that was identified and quoted in the initial estimate, and for the most part there were no surprises.Pioneer's team was on time, friendly and courteous, and did a great job cleaning up at every stage of the job.It's been almost a year since my job was completed, and San Diego is getting a ton of rain at this very moment; thankfully our house is water tight! This company was amazing and honest from start to finish.Responsive, honest and straightforward. Not trying to sell you on material or work that doesn't need to be done like a majority of other roofing companies try to do!Plus, their pricing/quoting for repairs are extremely reasonable! Pioneer quoted almost HALF the price that others did for the same repairs. Solar company damaged my roof when adding more panels. Pioneer was contracted to do repairs. Still had a small leak but they came right back and all is well now. Have had rain on 3 or more occasions and no leaks. Well done Pioneer. I'd recommend them to anyone. J. JonesService: Roof repair

Pioneer re-roofed a second house on our property a couple years ago that held up great in the latest windstorm. However, the other house lost a few shingles (roofed by a different company). Spencer came out and replaced the missing shingles and re-sealed our vents. Great work and quick response from Pioneer! Very impressed with the quality of their work!

I was so relieved to find Pioneer roofing after I was shocked to find out the company I had a 50-year roofing warranty was out of business and my roof was leaking like a sieve! Pioneer came out very quickly during the rainy season and diagnosed the problem on my roof. They repaired it at a fair price and it has been leak proof ever since. We have a flat roof on our vacation house in Big Bear, so the crew had to travel up the hill and stay overnight for several nights to tear off the roof and replace it with TPO material. Also, there were intermittent thunderstorms. Spencer was very helpful and well organized in guiding us through the process, and the TPO crew led by Henry worked very hard for long hours and were very efficient. They were able to get everything covered up during the rains, finished on time and cleaned up well. They painted the trim to our specifications. We inspected the roof--they did an amazing job. I can tell you how much we love our new roof. After getting 8 quotes. I'll tell you why I went with Pioneer Roofing.#1. He was on time.2. He was respectful, in the time of Covid he didn't require that all "decision makers" be available for a SALES pitch. There were companies that wouldn't just give me a quote without my spouse. One company was so intrusive that they pulled title to see who was on the title of my property. Another one came over while I was at work to try and talk to my wife after I told them I would talk it over with her.3. Spencer is not the average roofer. He spent the time to go over material options and addressed why I wanted a new roof. Yes even addressing a need and option of getting insulation when I didn't get half the knowledge from other roofers.Let me tell you how through they are: I have solar, he stated that he will work with the solar company to make sure they put the right mounts on our roof and came out before the solar company took down our panels and YES he came out after to make sure they installed the panels back on so that it would not damage our new roof or adversely affect the roof. I spoke with the solar people about Pioneer and they gave much praise to Spencer's knowledge roofing and solar installation. I had to use our solar installers so to not void the panels warranty.For the value and quality of work, hands down, Pioneer Roofing was everything and more than I could have asked for.They didn't push financing on us.Overall, I will say that I can't paise them enough. Thank you for the wonderful new roof. Thanks for being patient with me and all my questions, I know I wasn't the easiest to work for but I do my research because it's my family's home and we love it.For the record, my AC doesn't kick on as much. The temperature is VERY steady, our solar output has sent way more power back to the grid and hasn't had a day where I was pulling more electricity than generating.
