We have known Blue Mountain for years, since 2015 when we bought our first house in Roseville CA. The technicians are very kind and helpful and efficient. Even when we moved to our new house and although Blue Mountains has not installed the Cooler/heater system , but because we have been very happy with our experience with Blue Mountain, we still schedule with them to send their technician to service our a/c and heater.

We have a new home, and with all new homes, there are adjustments or little things after move in. We called our builder to make an appointment for our hvac system, because we couldn't figure out the thermostat and why the fan was always on. Our builder didn't know either. Our installing hvac contractor came over and figured it out straight away and fixed our settings for us! They were on time and helpful. The office team was very friendly and helpful also. They tried to walk me through the settings on the phone, but we weren't comfortable doing it, and they sent someone without a problem. Thank you to Blue Mountain!

Wow, Blue Mt. Did my HVAC in my home by KB, I have been doing HVAC 20+ years.I caught my furnace short cycling so I went to check it out (gas pressures way too high and tripping on high heat limit)While up here I see a few code issues and a few long term operations issues this is after I had called them on their drain line that would have drained into my garage attic along with noting the electric issues I had seen.Gas is 5yo codePower is 10+ year old code & no fuseDuct(s) and lineset are not properly strapedMissing gaskets on a 90% furnaceBroken door handlesMissing electric J Box with proper groundingFurnace drain Is not properly runSigh, spent 2hr cleaning the unit, installing gaskets (that where sitting on top of the furnace) installing electric box and ground (again , sitting on top of the furnace)Re gluing a PVC flue connectionStill have 2-3hr of work with gas & electric codes and adding missing straps.Sigh, good luck guys...Yes 2 stars,. , they ran 8 wire to thermostat & AC locations major points for my. Future wanted of a Heat pump.

Just once I'd like to find a company that doesn't try to upsell you every time you talk to them. This company installed our HVAC a few years ago...fast forward and the a/c isn't working...called them for service and they immediately went into a hard sell for their maintenance agreements or some stupid thing. Can't get an appointment now for a week (probably because I said I didn't want to buy a maintenance agreeement)...so they do NOT believe in supporting their customers. When I asked the person on the phone if I should just call someone else (even though it's their system) she said "you're more than welcome to call another company". Wow....really great customer service.Bottom line: Don't spend 20k with this company for a new system...they won't care about you in the long run. Unbelievable.

Since we moved in to our new home, the problem with AC was show up. Fortunately, we got so many wonderful people like Lisa Gardenhire to help us. She was keeping in touch and updated the information with us kindly, and the technicians, especially the supervisor Mr. Glovanny, they drive all the way long to come to work and came early on the stormy morning time, they explained the things to me nicely and patiently. Thank you so much blue mountain team!

We didn’t choose Blue Mountain as our service. We bought a house built by Pulte who contracted with Blue Mtn to install our HVAC system. We have had a problem with the furnace since the the first use. When they first came to service it, the tech told us it was our fault it broke because we changed our thermostat; and that now the warranty was voided so we couldn’t call them anymore. Being first time homeowners, we naively believed this, so when it broke again two years later (this past November) we called another company. The other company tried to fix it and ultimately came to the conclusion that it was the controller box (after replacing a slew of other parts) which would be expensive to fix, they advised us to call Pulte. They also stated that there was standing water in the furnace and rust and in their opinion the furnace had been improperly installed. Pulte contacted Blue Mtn and they came back out to repair the furnace. They had to order the part which took a few weeks. They never called to tell us it was in. We had to call them. When they came back out we asked why there was water in the furnace and the tech said there was a hole in the PVC pipe. When we asked where the hole came from, he said a screw. When we asked who put the screw there? Well…that is a mystery. I’m guessing squirrels with drills? Attic elves? Furnace saboteurs? Obviously anyone except the company that installed it. Then they charged us $300 for an hour’s labor. For parts that were under warranty…for a product they installed…that failed to work properly from day one of use. So even if the product is under warranty…their work isn’t? There are 48 houses in our development and none that I know of have had any issues with their furnace, so I do think this is a one off situation. However, their workmanship isn’t my concern so much as their unwillingness to stand by it. If you choose to go with Blue Mtn for your HVAC needs they can probably fix your problem, but they might have to fix it again…and they’ll charge you for it…$300 an hour to be precise.

I'd absolutely not recommend this company. Even emailed the general line & received delayed feedback. Our tech was lazy and initially said nothing was wrong with our unit until we had to push him into actually taking a look, amongst other issues during his visit.

Blue mountain is a worst company. My central heating is not working for more than a week. I am calling everyday. Nobody responds. Emergency number work after office hours they pick up phone and answer every time they take my address but nobody come to my house .

Bad customer service it took over a day to get a call back after being told i would get called in 15 minutes but thats not the worst part. I bought a BRAND NEW house and moved into it in April i did not use the air conditioning until summer time but when i went to turn it on it only blew hot air. I called blue mountain and had someone come check it and was informed that the air conditioning unit was still in the box in the attic of the house. Now 2 years later i am having problems with it again and unable to reach a representative. I will be calling other companies as you should consider not using blue mountain.

This company is a disaster to me.We moved in our brand new house built by KB in 2017. Blue Mountain is the vendor who installed the heating, AC and bathroom exhaust fan. However, till 2019 (after more than two years of the house delivery), they haven't fixed all the issues they left in the house. Either me or my wife has to use our vacation days to wait for them to come for the fix, for more than TEN times.We still have the AC freon leakage issue waiting to be fixed. We hope they can take their responsibility to fix it ASAP rather than postponing it again and again.

I had an AC service appointment with Blue Mountain AC scheduled around 9AM on Dec 6th 2018.Daniel called me at around 8:40am, and told he would arrive at 9AM. He showed up on time. He brought with himself shoe covers which is really professional and considerate. I took him to the room where AC vents were blocked by dampers. He inspected it, and asked to check other AC vents. To my surprise, he found one AC vent in laundry room which also closed, and I did not realize that before.He reopened all closed dampers, put vents back and let me take photos of the clips he used, so I know in future what kind of clips to buy. He reminded me to take a photo of a clip with a quarter coin put on it, that will help during future purchase.Daniel reopened all dampers in about 40 minutes, got work done neatly and quickly, and attitude is really polite and friendly. I had really a good experience.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS. Blue Mountain Air installed a top of the line Carrier Heating and Air System in our home in Danville, CA. Our system was not heating during a severe Cold snap. Calls to their customer support over 4 days did not get us a call back. My calls to Carrier resulted in all parts would be covered by our still active warrantee. Work had to be done by the installer or another Carrier repairman. Upon inspection by a Blue Mountain Air technician, we were told None of the replacement parts were covered. When I informed him that I had contacted Carrier myself prior to his visit and that was not what I was told,, he explained that the repairs would be very time consuming, and it would be easier to install a NEW unit,,, a new unit would be 100% at MY COST. Over the period of days our home was at 50 degrees inside,,, executives at Blue Mountain Air, could care less. They never returned any of my calls over the 4 days. Not even ONE call from their managers. On day 5, I went to COMFY Heating & Air. We had a warm house the next day.

We just moved into a new Solar powered Town home. However, It has been bothering us for several months due to either heating or AC not working. We felt that it could be some wiring issues, however four prior electricians (total of ~16 hrs) could not figure out or fix the issues, until Daniel C came. He pinpointed to the right issue, and fixed it in less than 2 hrs! He also did above and beyond, check the AC pressure etc. for us. After being frustrated for a while, we really appreciated the professionalism of Daniel C. He is the best of all!

After your visit we highly doubt you will need to come back, but in an unlikely event something goes wrong, we will be specifically asking for Daniel. Don’t respond to email inquiries and their contractors aren’t knowledgeable or able to explain the basics of hvac in a way that is helpful for us to fix our own issues. 2 yrs of heating issues later and I discover one of my dampers has never worked which explained everything. Useless

I have been trying to reach someone here for a week to no avail. Every time I call, I am sent to voice mail. Today, the line rang twice and sent me to voice mail, which tells me the person was sitting at their desk and deliberately sent me to voice mail. I called the main 800-number and actually talked to someone, who, low and behold, sent me to someone else's voice mail box. I want a simple job done, and I want them to do it because they installed my unit, but they do not return your call... ever. It's maddening. If I allow someone else to do the work, my warranty will be voided. I guess my next move is to continue posting reviews everywhere and to make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but they may not even be a member. This is frustrating.

my house is BRAND NEW, just moved in Nov 2016 - first time I try to run my air, it doesn't work and keeps sending the breaker off - called and was told they can't come out for a WEEK - I am not good at suffering in the heat - did I mention the house is BRAND NEW? I am also wondering if this is why my SMUD bill has been ridiculous for a 800 sq foot home.I am going to see about getting my own repair done and then I will send my builder the bill since they are the ones who hired Blue Mountain.....guaranteed, more to come

I was recently referred to Blue Mountain Air by the builder of my home for a leak in my hvac system. When i called the first time i was sent to a voice mail with a recording that mentioned thir goal was to return calls within 30 minutes. I left my name and phone number. After 2 hours of waiting i called again and mentioned what the recording mentioned. i was rudly transferred to the same recording and i again left a message. On my third attempt i left a message with the person that answered. She wrote my name and number and was to foward that information to the person that was to help me. I received no call yesterday. Today i called again and got no where. they're services need improvements.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I purchased a top of the line carrier from them and paid top dollar 5 years later its broken and still under parts warranty and when i called them they told me 4 weeks before they can come out and do warranty work and to call another company. Now i'm stuck trying to get another company to do warranty work on another's company install
