I have been looking for a company like this for years. Eight years ago, my house was stripped down to the studs and rebuilt by a company who I would never recommend. Now as things start to fall apart, I have been looking for another company to come in and fix their work. Andrew and his company Spaces LLC have been outstanding to work with. Not only are the professional and quick to respond, but they're also very reasonably priced. These guys can do it all and it's nice to have one company to go to who can do exactly what you are looking for and do it right. They also have the customers best interest in mind. If something can be fixed without having to buy something new, they will let you know that or tell you a piece can be returned (if already purchased), so they can save you the money. I will always use this company when needed.

Spaces LLC did a great job on our recent deck project. I selected them even though they were not the lowest estimate I received. They seemed to be a substantial company with a full time crew and good organizational skill. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone. Their estimate was complete and held up with no hidden costs. They were always available and transparent in their communications. The scope did increase and their price for the change was reasonable. Doug is an excellent carpenter, managed the crew well and did much of the work himself. It was a great experience working with them

Andrew has done 2 jobs for us that were great. Last month he did a complete remolded of our main bathrooms and a new floor in our kitchen. His price was very good, but the service was even better. Job was completed in a very timely fashion which was critical for our business. Today he replaced a toilet in another bathroom that broke yesterday....what service!

EDIT:I just saw that Spaces LLC responded to my review, claiming that I lied about what they did to remedy the trim job. They did not put quarter round on my trim, despite my asking them to do so as a potential compromise so that they would not have to rip it out and put the correct size. I’ve uploaded two photos so you can see what I’m talking about: the flooring was originally spaced so that the correct width would easily cover the “breathing room” (we are a high humidity house). You can see that no quarter round was installed. In the photo, you can see just how big a difference the trim is by how far our steam heater sticks out. When I pointed out that it was no longer flush, Drew told me to “paint the damn thing”. I will allow you to draw your own conclusions about this company based on my original review, their egregious response, and my photos that proved they lied in said response.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I waited five months before posting my review, to let my personal feelings subside and just share facts.The good: The daily contractor who handled our project, Doug, was phenomenal. We loved his work, his ability to explain things to us when we had questions, and we felt very comfortable having him in our home nearly daily for the three week project.The bad: Drew, the project manager, was in over his head. Communication was inconsistent and often contradictory - we would flesh out an idea over the phone (such as having a shower head installed that could be removed for washing the dog) and he was unable to accurately convey that message to his team in order to appropriately execute the line item. This happened several times, and each time he denied any wrongdoing.The ugly: Drew’s desire to rush the project cost us thousands of dollars and a mess to clean up. He was unable to work with us, the clients, in order to ensure a smooth process. For example, we have an older home (1930s) with wider baseboards than current industry standard. We wanted the same style baseboards installed for continuity - he instead ordered and had his guys install much smaller baseboards that then required us to install quarter rounds to cover the gaps in flooring. Another example: Drew ordered and charged us for a toilet which was $2,000 more expensive because it would arrive faster (next day) than waiting for the more economical company (which would take 3-6 weeks). We had stayed from the beginning that our budget was most important to us, and we were perfectly fine waiting additional time for parts to come in (we have more than one bathroom in the home).Two stars because Doug was a rockstar and a true craftsman. I would independently hire him in a second and recommend him to absolutely anyone. On the other hand, Drew and his company, Spaces LLC? I would steer clear.

Joe did a fabulous job repairing and reinstalling my ancient, no longer available shower door. He came within a few days of my plea for help, knew immediately what had to be done, completed the repairs, left no mess and was gone within a few hours. In this day and age it’s no small miracle to find such all around quality..

I had a bathroom shower with a hole in it. Staff were friendly and professional and fixed my problem. Very hard to find a contractor and this company calls you back. Now just need a shower rod and I'll be all set. My fault on the rod, not Spaces, LLC. I've already scheduled more future projects. Flooring next week. They did a nice job and the clean-up was good too. Thanks Spaces. 😆Update: I love my new shower 🚿 and can't wait to use it. I was able to install my shower rod and it is perfect. Shower looks so good makes me want to update entire house. Surely I will use Spaces again. Highly recommend them. In fact I already recommended them to two people already. On Dec 14th we had a mechanical failure of our furnace resulting in flooding of our finished basement. It was discovered about noon, furnace company was out for repairs by 3:30 and upon completion at 5:30, gave us the name of SpacesLLC for water removal and repairs. We called at 5:30pm and reached the owner Andrew Stoddard, he called us back within 15minutes to say he had a crew on their way over. They worked for 4-5 hours and set up to dry out the basement which took 3/4 days. Each day the owner called us to update what was to be done and answered any questions we had. Ended up needing to replace the flooring and trim, remove damaged dry wall and replacing it, and painting . The on site manager ,JB, was also terrific and the different crews worked so well together. They treated us with the utmost respect and made the whole process go smoothly. We would highly recommend SPACES LLC for othersBob and Caryl Donovan

Spaces LLC. Not only did a fantastic job of replacing our skylight, but they educate, they explain in detail what they are going to do. They give honest opinions and as a professional, they are exceptional. I also had them complete other work that needed be done, and we are excited to give that work to Spaces LLC. After they finished the fencing and patio, I was amazed at the work and craftmanship. If you want quality work no hassle, as well as great understanding of insurance claims, give them a call.

This is my second time using this company for my home repairs. I had a leak in the upstairs shower which leaked on to the downstairs ceiling above my dining room table. This was a real mess. I called Spaces and they were there the next day to check the damage and quote me a price, the job was booked and they were there the next day on time, the workers are very clean and I have never come home to a mess. This companys work is always impeccable. Also, the owner checks in with you daily with updates on their progress. The on site team was professional, punctual, thorough and did an immaculate job repairing my wall. They even went out of their way to correctly repair an exposed pipe prior to sealing the wall, that the plumber i hired previously did not repair correctly. They provided their expertise while helping me determine the best placement for the cameras. We worked with Spaces LLC to remodel our main bathroom. After emailing them for a quote, they made it out to our home that same week for an on-site consultation. I thought that was quick and convenient. They were professional, and friendly and on time. What really sealed the deal for us to work with them was their commitment to cleanliness. Having worked with other contractors in the past who leave a huge mess behind, we didn't want to deal with that again. They zippered the bathroom doorway closed to get in and out, covered our floors, and cleaned up our garage nicely once they were done with the project. It's so worth it to work people who respect your home and try not to damage or make it really hard to clean. Working with Gustavo, our project manager, was great. He really listened to what we wanted the theme of the bathroom to be, and ended up suggesting a great design. He patiently e-mailed several times to make sure we were content with the vanity, shower tile, flooring, lights, etc... His suggestions for the style of the bathroom ended up working out great. We were worried if we were choosing the right stuff in terms of style because we don't have that much creative expertise, but Gustavo seemed to know what looked nice and would coordinate well based on his own creative background in this field of work. I had to thank him in the end for knowing what we didn't know when it came to designing the bathroom. He even agreed to a last minute change for the meeting time when we had to see samples to accommodate our busy schedule. When viewing samples with him, he explained how grout colors can give either a contrast or more blended look, how the size of floor planks could make the space look bigger or smaller, and how his recommendation for the wall paint color we were looking at could easily match any fixtures. While other customers may already know these things, we found it helpful because we have never done a project like this before. Doug was also great to work with. He was fun to talk to and gave us tips and explanations as he worked. He was a hard worker. It put our minds at ease to know that he was working in our home while we weren't there (something we haven't done before). I love how he identified and explained the source of the smelly drain problem we were having in our old bathroom. It helped put my mind at ease to know that wouldn't be an issue any more. I looked forward to his daily reports where he gave a summary of what he did and sent pictures of the work. His shower tile/grout work was amazing - it came out beautiful! The final walk-through was very nice too. They promptly came back the next day to wrap up some minor things, and left some free gifts for us that made us feel like valued customers. They patched up a random hole in our stairway wall and put a door stopper in our bathroom, and we didn't even ask them to! Andrew was great with staying in touch via e-mail and phone calls, and accommodating any changes in the project along the way. He went out of his way to educate me on cleaning products, which I appreciated. Andrew and his crew were not only professional but were also extremely friendly, communicative, and punctual. Spaces, LLC completed 2 bathroom remodels from floor to ceiling, which included tile installation, painting, shower installation, bathtub installation, vanity installation (cabinet, sink, counter, and faucets), and replaced the mirrors. Additionally they also painted the stairwell, hallway, and master bedroom, and replaced all closet doors within the home. After receiving multiple quotes from other companies, I was the most impressed with this company. Some never called back, refused to provide a quote via email or phone, you had to visit the shop, or the company did not have someone who represented them well. Andrew was quick to respond and book an initial meeting, provided an itemized list of everything I mentioned, and had a quote ready by the next day. Andrew and his property manager Todd were always one phone call away with any questions I had, and were prompt to getting back to me. They provided numerous options throughout the project recommending certain products that were always within the budget and yet to the desired esthetic I wanted. Mike and Eric were also great. As always any remodeling comes with its own surprises, for my home it was odd vanity sizes, rusted toilets, broken valves, horrible walls, etc. All staff members were successful in ensuring it would all be handled properly, which it was. They also provided a cleaning service at the end, which I thought was the icing on the cake for all the incredible work they already provided. I will definitely be using them again for my kitchen and any other projects along the way.

Gus and Andrew were very responsive from the beginning-very helpful given the extensive job to be done. They kept me informed throughout the process. The work performed by their staff was amazing. Doug/Mike/Edwin/Andre/Billy- great work! There were a few accidents with some belongings, but Gus handled it swiftly. One comment I would make is to only have one point person (Gus) for communication. I would speak to Andrew and he would say something was getting done and then when I asked Gus about it, he didn’t know anything about it. I’m sure it’s because they were so busy. From the moment we requested a quote to replace our kitchen floor, to the completion of the entire installation, the Spaces team demonstrated a professional attitude, in the best way possible.The representative who came to our home for the quote noted our request for all to wear masks. He completely understood and made sure to show up, his mask in place, to greet us appropriately. His friendly manner, and extreme knowledge about the flooring products, both aesthetically and usefulness in a kitchen, made the decision on which flooring to go with easy.Once we accepted their very competitive quote, the appointment to do the work was made promptly. Spaces respected our time and made their work fit our schedule.The work team was respectful of our home, keeping their entries into our home limited to the door adjacent to the kitchen therefore tracking nothing through any other room in the house. The room was isolated to keep all work activity residue within the kitchen, and counters and appliances were also covered to retain cleanliness.In addition, all were extremely forthcoming and detail oriented. When it was evident we needed to change the trim, we were informed as to the reason for the suggestion and it was also completed promptly.We do not often encounter work teams who demonstrate appreciation and respect for our home and our time. Overall Spaces did a good job with my basement finishing project. The quality of materials and workmanship is the best I have seen, they used kiln dried douglas fir for all framing so all the walls will stay straight over time. Further, Mark has definitely gone above and beyond with the work that he did on the framing, he was able to build square walls when the floor and concrete were not square. Further he was able to accommodate some minor changes during the building process to ensure that the end product looked the best. He is very punctual and kept the job site clean while doing his work. I can't speak highly enough about the work that Mark has done and look forward to working with him in the future.My only issue was with the quoting system, I seemed to have a disconnect between what I said I wanted during the initial visit and what ended up getting quoted. Spaces was very good at updating the paperwork once I alerted them to the issues. As long as you are clear on the scope of work it should be fine.

Spaces re-did our bathroom and put down new tile flooring in our mudroom. Overall, they were very communicative during the entire process. We ended up asking for some changes and additional tweaks during the renovation and they were happy to oblige. They were super friendly and eager to make sure we were happy.The only thing to watch out for is the quality of the work. Overall the work was good, but some of the tile in the mudroom wasn't level. However, when we pointed this out to them, they removed the tile and fixed it. There still were some that were a bit uneven, but overall it was much better and acceptable.Service: Remodeling

I cannot say enough about the work completed by Spaces LLC. As such, I have decided to leave several reviews to let people know what you can expect from this very competent company. We hired Spaces LLC because of water damage that was seeping into our den causing severe drywall damage to the walls.The baseboard heaters had rusted out, and the rug had mold! The owner, Andrew Stoddard, immediately was in contact with us and came over to see the damage on the first day we spoke. He assessed the problem right away and explained to me what had to be done. Overnight Andrew and his office personnel prepared a quote of the work that was required to fix the area.Our insurance company initially denied our claim for the water damage repairs. Andrew dealt with the adjuster to fight for what he believed was a legitimate claim. After he had several discussions with that adjuster our claim was rightfully approved. His team did all aspects of the clean-up from removing the wet material, setting up fans and dehumidifiers. They then rebuilt our entire room beginning with some plumbing repairs, sheet rock installation, painting and installing a beautiful new pergo floor. The crew was very professional, on-time in every case and cleaned up for everything each day. They always addressed any questions or comments I had during the process. All the work was done very quickly, more than any contracting work was ever done.Andrew was constantly in contact with me for as many times as I needed to speak to him as well as coordinating all the work and times when his crew would be working at our home. We were in contact everyday about the job! We are so happy with everything that Spaces LLC did for us that we are planning to have them return for other projects.

Had some Strip and wax done on one of my apartments VCT flooring as well as carpet shampooing. They got some really heavy stains out of the carpets and they look like new again. But what I really love about this company is how professional and easy to work with they are. Andrew knows how to run a business. He even responded immediately to my emails after hours. I Didn’t have to waste time bringing him out to look at the job, just sent him some photos, and told him what I needed done and his crew was out there on time and on schedule. Attention to detail and Friendly crew. By far the most Convenient contractor I have ever used, ever. He gets the job done. Will be using him again in future for apartment turnovers, for sure. So easy and simple. If there was an Amazon for construction contracting services, this guy would be it.
