John Mayer Roofing did an aluminum roof over my back porch and every time it rains it leaks from every seam they've been out three times to try and repair it but every time it rains it leaks from every seam in the middle and we're it attaches to the house do not use John Mayer Roofing. I work with a contractor and have worked on jobs that they did Roofing on and they do a lousy job

When I called for a quote on the job he promptly showed up. I got the quote quickly and then I received a follow up call a few days later to see if we needed their services. We hired them and they immediately started the permit process and kept me informed the entire time. They have great communication. They answered their phones or call back in a timely manner. All together I'm happy with the job. No issues. It was done quickly. There was no overcharging of materials like some companies do.

Lack of communication sums it all up. This is a small company that seemed to struggle with a simple leak. The original quote we received in person was mysteriously increased when we got the paperwork. They started working on the roof before we signed any contract or gave consent for them to be on the roof. They honored the original quote and we signed the contract but only after they already started working on the leak. The attached photos are how they finished the project. Contacted them originally in September 2020 and it now appears the leak is fixed in December 2020. However, instead of taking a couple of extra minutes to cut/replace the broken tiles with the extra ones we had (as requested), they decided to use RT-600 on the broken pieces. Hire this company if you enjoy excuses, poor communication, and the inability to follow instructions.

Jon came very highly recommended to us. I contacted him with the concern of a leak in our roof and he came out the very next morning to estimate the repair. After contacting Shannon at his office she promptly scheduled us and had the leak repaired within a couple of days! Great service and fair price too! Jon Myers Roofing placed a new roof on my property in 2019 prior to my purchase of the home. When I purchased the home in January 2021, I was informed that Jon Myers Roofing had performed an additional repair to the gutter as the gutters were pouring into the home through the siding. Jon Myers attempted to fix this issue by resealing the gutters and moving one gutter spout a few inches further from the siding. However, they did not seal the hole from the previous gutter spout so now there is a hole in the gutter that leaks water onto my deck every time it rains and also appears to still let water into the siding of the home. This hole was supposed to be fixed within a month of my purchase. Jon Myers did initially come out; however, I was told that the hole was unable to be sealed as it was wet from a prior rain. The roofer stated he would have a later date scheduled for which they would come and resolve the issue. As of the date of this review, nothing has been done for the hole and no date set despite numerous attempts on my part to initiate contact.Additionally, my garage is already experiencing leaking to the extent that I have found a puddle on furniture in the garage after a rainstorm. I have both called and emailed Jon Myers Roofing and continue to not get a response. I am now looking at potentially having to retain another roofing company in order to finish and repair the work done by Jon Myers Roofing.I was an excited first time home buyer when this process started as I truly believed Jon Myers Roofing would be a good and professional company. Now I am just exhausted with trying to get them to perform the work that they were supposed to have already had done.

Jon and his team are one of the best in the area in their industry. Their responsiveness and quality of work are matched by very few. Jon always answers his phone or calls me back quickly if he is not available. Arrived when they said they would, complete tear off of old roof, some new decking, new fascia boards and a new roof in a short 3 or 4 days. His guys get in and get it done. Rebecca was great to communicate to me from the office also!! Highly recommend and will definitely refer them to others!!!

Our floor collapsed due to another contractors work. Jon came in, diagnosed the problem and had his team come out immediately to fix the damage. His workers were on time, professional and extremely competent. They also replaced a roof for me at a reasonable price.

Dealing with this company is a waste of your time. Called them in February about a roof leak in heavy rain. They assured me someone would be out to check. Never heard back from them. Called again in March. Guy came out, went up on the roof, indicated the seals around the vent pipes were cracked & quoted a price of $165 to repair. Made an appointment for the following week - no one showed up. Called again on April 10 - clueless receptionist promised to investigate and call back. Three days later and still no call back.These are inconsiderate and unprofessional people.We met this company at an Expo of various contractors organized by the management of our community. Can't wait to tell them NOT to invite this outfit back.

I recently had. A new roof put on by Jon Myers and his crew. They did great work and were great cleaning up after they were finished. The crew was all polite the couple of times that I had to interact with them. I can't say enough good about them and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I set up an appointment 3 days prior to the day they were supposed to arrive to inspect our roof for condition and leaks. Jon contacted me via our our neighborhood next door app and asked me to call. When I did, I was given an appointment on a Friday at 11:30 AM. By 12 noon, no one had shown up and I received no phone call. I was just blown off by this company. Friday is my only day off during the week and I just don't appreciate sitting around waiting for someone to show up and they can't even be bothered to call. It's rude and disrespectful. My time is just as valuable as theirs and it's just rude and no way to run a business. I understand things happen and people run late, but all I want is a phone call letting me know. I don't think it's too much to ask from a reputable business. I will not use them or recommend them. They just lost a potential customer.
