I have used John Augusto to install countless roofs over the last 8yrs and they've handled plenty of repairs too! He's saved my clients from having to replace flat roofs by applying a coating - extending their lives in many cases - getting our insurance approved! Whatever he says, I can trust it's the truth; he's NOT upselling me or my clients a product they don't really need. Augusto Roofing has been 'price shopped' plenty of times by my clients and myself when clients expect multiple bids (who can blame them!) - he always comes in within $500 and beats the competition by a mile w/genuine customer service! He helps with shingle/drip edge color selections too - always a plus. You don't come across genuine hardworking people every time you have a home improvement, so when I do - I use them 'forevermore' .. such is the case with John! One more thing - Owens Corning Shingles beat GAF anyday with their warranty! I've tested this with clients and the GAF reps do not like to approve warranty claims. John and his team did our recent roof replacement. They were excellent! Worked quickly and professionally. Their price was extremely competitive and offered beautiful shingle options. Working with Augusto Roofing was very easy. The office staff was incredibly responsive and everyone was so friendly. John's team had done the last roof replacement on our home's roof 19 years prior and his work was pristine! I was glad to see he was still available when it came time to replace again (there were no issues with the roof, but the homeowner's insurance was starting to put the pressure on us due to the age). I'm very satisfied with the job they did and the price charged. No hidden costs, great work, and they cleaned up after the job was done. Augusto Roofing included many features in their bid that others wanted to charge extra for.The owner, John Augusto, came to my house to estimate the cost and was on my roof personally working hard long days to get it done, and I think that says a lot. If you’re going to run a business it’s not smart to put your company name all over your truck then be wreckless on the road.

John and his crew did an excellent job replacing our old roof; he explained the entire process beforehand and performed exactly as he promised.Sometimes a roofer will act as a "broker" of sorts and do the initial quote, only to hand that work off to another roofing "farm" company that's not under their control. Not with John. His crew showed up early in the morning and he got here and got on the roof and to work about an hour (after quoting another job earlier that morning).Thanks John.

*GREAT WORK, NO COMMUNICATION* We hired Augusto Roofing to replace our roof on our home we’ve been living in for almost 12 years after noticing some wear and tear after the hurricane. They quoted us a price at around $5800 which we thought was fair, which included two sheets of plywood in the price. They came out and did the job, and I’ll say that the roof looks great and I think the quality of the work is good. The issue arised when we did not talk to or hear from Augusto during the duration of our installation which seemed weird. Then came the invoice where we were being charged $6400, it jumped $600 for some special type of wood and the labor charge to install this special wood. We thought someone would’ve contacted us in a 2 minute phone call to give us a heads up on a $600 additional charge. They also never communicated that we should possibly cover stuff in our garage because the inside when they were done looked like a war zone. One of their workers who was replacing the wood near the soffit sliced through our cable line so we had to get Spectrum to come out to fix it. They also never fixed the soffit they must’ve loosened when fixing some of the wood. Our final issue was there was nails and debris all around the back of our house. There was the wrapping from around the shingles in our pool so before we could let our dogs out into our backyard we had to go around picking up nails and miscellaneous debris that was left behind. Overall great quality but they should work on their communication skills and work harder on cleaning up afterward.

Augusto Roofing did a superb job repairing my roof at a reasonable price. John was courteous, experienced, and informative. Augusto Roofing is knowledgeable about Florida and County codes and property insurance requirements on roof installations and repairs in order to get insurance discounts. I had a fireplace chimney removed, re-board, wind resistant peel and stick underlayment, and nailed on lifetime GAF shingles to match the rest of the roof on the small repair job. It was done with precision and professionalism. I highly recommend Augusto Roofing, Inc.

I had estimates from 13 local roofing companies (excessive maybe, but a new roof isn't cheap) and narrowed it down to 3. I chose Augusto because (1) he has been BBB accredited since 1999 with an A+ rating, (2) I personally felt the Owens Corning shingle (SureNail Technology) is a better product than what most of the other companies seem to be using, and (3) a building inspector gave me a thumbs up about Augusto roofing.John is a very polite gentleman and makes it known he wants to help and do a great job. They are all hard workers. He had my mitigation forms ready for me the day after the job was complete including photos of the job. I got my warranty information in the mail a few days later.I will be using Augusto Roofing again in the future.

I made an appointment for 1pm on a Sunday. John called 20 min till to tell me he was going to be at my home around 3:30 4pm. I said that is fin. He then called at 3:50 to tell me he needed to rescheduleFor tomorrow morning. I explained that I had been waiting all day for him on my only day off. He then preceded to tell me he doesnt usually work on Sunday's anyway. I told him I was going to pass on the quote and he hung up the phone. What a great representation for a company.
