My crew and I drove 7 hours to Oklahoma to put roofs on Fort Altus and Sill. We did what we were told and worked then when time comes to get paid they pushed it back 4 times until we were out of money and had to leave.No other crews were being paid either and one guy lost his family home. They blamed me for not paying my guys when I had received nothing but empty promises.Three weeks go by and now we received wages less than minimum wage, 250 bucks for 40 hours over 3 weeks. We were promised 250 A DAY.This company is unprofessional. If Julius will screw over 30 men out of pay before thanksgiving HE WILL SCREW YOU

Who takes a military contract and screws it all up. This company needs to take accountability for their own problems. Bringing people from out of state and putting them in the worst housing possible, no per diem, and we didn't get paid anything at all until we got home to a 44 dollar check. Mike was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. I live out of state and he coordinated the repairs of both inside my home and a new roof with both my tenant and myself. Due to the leak, he made sure a new roof was done as quickly as possible and even reminded me to contact my insurance company. He then went the extra step to meet with the insurance adjuster and send me pictures along the way as my insurance company requested. He was so easy to work with and had to reassure me to take time out to enjoy my vacation as he had things handled. I will absolutely use Mike again and again.

Mike was referred to me through his partner Julius after a roofing job to replace windows and siding.They both were very patient and helpful as I went through litigation with my insurance company.I ended up being out of town when my windows came in but, Mike and the crew came in and got everything finished before I returned.They’re very ethical and did great work!!!Services: Roof repair, Drywall installation

I had a wonderful experience with Steel Standing. My roof was leaking after a major rain storm. Mike and his team did an inspection and found that the chimney cap was rusted out and rotted. He ordered a new cap and installed in just an hour. Mike went above and beyond to ensure there was not additional damage and provided recommendations. The cost was extremely reasonable. He communicated everything he was doing and gave me an estimated cost. The final cost came in below his estimate. I highly recommend Steel Standing for all my roofing needs. He is local to the central coast and not a fly-by night roofing company.

Mike and his crew brought top notch expertise and professionalism to every project. Using the existing space, Mike creatively designed and rebuilt my dock to be structurally reinforced for decades to come while also expanding the ‘recreational’ surface area and adding lighting. He also did some roof and miscellaneous house repairs, replaced windows, leveled a bay window area, and installed a storm door. I am extremely pleased with the workmanship, cleanliness, and professional. It was a very pleasurable experience.

We recently purchased an older town house, and Mike remodeled an older master bathroom for us, as well as updating a fair amount of deferred maintenance items. He was professional, courteous (explaining a lot to us!) and prompt, especially considering the workplace and supply difficulties brought on by COVID. I cannot express to you as a future customer the level.of professionalism that Mike and his team work reach. They make you feel like you are the only customer by answering and returning calls and emails super promptly, advocating for your job with 3rd party payers, explaining things in detail.about the work to be done. Unfortunately they are not in the area that I am moving to or else they would be my all the time go to contractor. I found them on thumbtack website and no one else contacted me back.
