Every homeowner has a list of companies to contact to help them when things don't go right right with their home or Condo. Weither it's an electrical issue, a plumbing issue, or a carpenter. But who has the name of a reputable company to call when you have a water and mold problem? You are at your most vulnerable point trying to find an honest company that does quality work at honest prices. A company that has an owner on site throughout the process. A company that not only remedies' the problem but educates you along the way. A company that provides an estimate up front and a final bill that matches that estimate (unless there is additional work needed and agreed upon before being performed). Bill and Joe of Wilco Restoration is that company. I am impressed with them from start to finish and would recommend them to anyone without reservation. These two guys and their crew are top notch. The only issue I have with posting this review is that I'm only able to give them 5 stars as a maximum rating.

I can not overstate how happy we are that we contacted and utilized WILCO Restoration. Joe and Bill performed a free and thorough inspection of our floors/rugs, furniture, closets, cabinets and some personal clothes on hangers to determine the extent of our mold issues. They took the time to answer (in depth) each and every question we had about the type of mold that was present. Then they explained the exact removal steps necessary to complete the process, the amount of time it would require and the extent of service they would provide to reassure us our issue would be completely resolved.The remediation estimate was a fair and very reasonable, final contract price. Joe himself, responded to every text or phone call promptly if not immediately and kept reiterating “to call anytime we had questions or needed explanation about any of the process or progress”. From the first inspection appointment, to each days crew arrival and days-end cleanup, thru the final removal of the industrial dehumidifier and the air scrubber after the AC ducts had been fogged; their time estimates were accurate and crews were punctual.Joe and Bill delivered exactly what they said they would, in a timely manner, without hesitation or any misleading promises about care for our property or crew thoroughness, and to a level of satisfaction beyond what we expected or could have hoped for.I will not hesitate to call them again if ever needed and recommend you call WILCO Restoration first, when you need any type remediation service. If you need to get other estimates, you will at least know the level of service you should expect and compare to complete the process. Then see if “fair and very reasonable” accurately reflects what that company's price is?Last but not least, Joe is a man of his word. I had a really positive experience from beginning to end! Bill & Joe responded quickly & gave me an estimate on what needed to be done within 24 hours. Once I scheduled the work, Jay was there to get the ball rolling and worked tirelessly to be sure my home was cleaned up after the initial removal. Then he and Josh worked to get the job done. Once all was said and done, they had gone above and beyond to work around my schedule, as well as the schedules of the other contractors and repairmen I had there working to repair the hurricane damage to my home. Not only did they do the job they were hired to do (and well), but went the extra mile and cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was done From removing the moldy materials, treating the area, and preparing it for rebuild. In the middle of the night I experienced a water emergency from the condo above. After assistance from my management co Wilco Restoration Co was called and responded in the middle of the night. If it had not been for their immediate response and hard work the flooding was under control and eventually stopped. The men worked flawlessly with my condo association and my Insurance Co. during the event and cleanup they took photos of what was happening and provided all the needed documentation required by my insurance company to them. I live in a 17 story condo and it was discovered that the water damage started 2 units above mine, If I had not received such excellent response and help I know this water emergency could have damaged many units below mine. Wilco Stopped what could have been a catastrophic water emergency. They went above and beyond to help me through the entire experience with their professional support. The best decision I made when I had to have my condo restored after the two 2023 hurricanes, was to call Wilco. From Start to Finish they were great to work with. From the start, they were on site with their meters measuring the moisture content and the extent of the damage. They explained the process to me and reviewed the insurance adjusters claim report and spoke to the insurance company about those items not included. They spoke from experience and offered good suggestions and listened to my ideas too. When the job started, on time by the way, their employee Jay Klein was exceptional. He was professional and very experienced. The crew always arrived on time and worked all day and sometimes Jay Klein worked a little longer to stay on schedule. They were very dedicated and conscientious about their work. They were on time and on budget, no surprises. And when they finished, they left the condo "clean" and ready for the restoration. WILCO Restoration saved the day on my situation.Not only did they treat and remediate a mold issue in my new bathroom, they also removed carpeting that was in horrible condition and infested with bedbugs. No one else wanted to do the job, but Bill and Rico came through! Joe was wonderful about scheduling and understanding my concerns about my condo purchase and wanting to be able to move in and remodel, simultaneously. They worked with me to make it all happen. The remediation team, John and Martin, were very meticulous about taping off everything, removing drywall, toilet, and vanity, treating and cleaning the effected area, and leaving it all as spotless as a surgeon. Honesty and integrity are the words I choose for this business. I called them at 0930 this morning and they arrived at 1000. They looked at my "mold" areas and were able to reassure me that my concerns were not justified. It was not mold. They didn't even laugh at me when they discovered that it was just foam stuck to the window sill. They did not charge me for their time. I had been worried about my health and had fears of expensive mold remediation and possible duct work being compromised. Unfortunately we learned the hard way, that mold remediation isn’t always done by experts. After two weeks, even though everyone was kind and professional and polite, we were told that the mold remediation was complete and a third party came to test the results and told us everything was clear. The way they tested did not make logical sense to me so I looked into it, and also found that the day after we passed the test the area still smelled very badly. We peeled back the plastic and tape, and discovered that after a two week process, still, the entire length of the wall was covered in mold inside and this wall extended 8 feet high 30 feet long.We ended up having to do the work ourselves, so that it could be done accurately and completely. My husband and his friend removed the entire wall, took out all the moldy construction, and replaced the drywall themselves. I then had a drywall expert come and finish it off.We ended up having to spend $8000 on the mold remediation that only removed about 10% or less of the mold in the entire wall.I no longer trust Mold remediation services or the third-party testing system at all and I’ve learned a lot.As time goes by, my husband and I find that anything you can do yourself always end up being a better outcome.I wish left anyone out there dealing with Mold, it’s a serious issue and you really have to be careful throughout the entire process to make sure it’s done correctly

What can I say about Wilco, we had a fire at our house and I wasn’t sure where to go since insurance wasn’t really helping much. I searched restoration companies and found Wilco restoration and boy am I glad I did. I called and Joe one of the owners answer the phone and we set up a meeting for The next day to check things out. Joe and Darren showed up promptly when they said they would we went over what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it and they wrote up their estimate which was very reasonable for the amount of damage we had. As soon as I was ready to start they had a team out here getting into cleaning the house and all the contents. John and Melissa we’re here for about a week and a half doing all the work and they did a wonderful job making sure everything was taken care of packed up professionally and clean the way it should be. Within one day they had most of the smoke smell eliminated in the house. They took care of everything and did a great job. I came home after being out of the house on a Saturday for about 4 hours to find water in half of my house. I immediately called Joe and he had a crew out in about an hour! They stayed until they had vacuumed up all the water and placed blowers and dehumidifiers throughout my house. They came back every day to check to see how things were progressing. They were all very knowledgeable along with being sympathetic to my plight. I don't know what I would have done without Joe, James and John helping me!! I would recommend Wilco to anyone in need!

Joe Chirco and his company are so kind, effective, and professional that it is hard to write a review that doesn’t sound overly complimentary. It’s all true! We have had two different, extensive, water-intrusion events in our condo as a result of the building’s structural flaws and slow maintenance. Both times, Joe and his crew not only restored everything but they also provided superior air and mold cleaning due to my health concerns. This last time, he supervised all work and inspections for us as we are 1,000 miles away and unable to return to our home (it isn’t inhabitable). I appreciate their thorough and diligent work. We had a flood in my sisters townhouse and called these guys at 2AM and they responded with a crew by 3:45AM. I was impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail these guys showed.
