I contracted Doors by Tim to replace 6 closet doors in my house...thought they sounded good...says he's a "Christian man"...well, $4000 later I'm completely unsatisfied. First thing, this is the first time I've ever wanted to change our doors in my home....I'm not an expert...that's why I hired one...so I thought. Little did I know that when they show you a white door in the catalog, it's actually not white...it's a shade of primer white. I then thought ok, no problem, I just pay $4000 for six doors, they must come in and paint them later. Nope. I was then told by Tim that that's how they come and that I would have to pay EXTRA to have them painted. What!? Obviously, I'm not irritated that I will have to pay more money to get the doors painted, but more so because Tim didn't tell me this little (being facetious) but made it sound like I was the dope for not knowing this! I explained that HE was the so called expert and he should have let me know this so that I could budget for the extra expense. Now, Tim turns it on me and says that I'M being rude. I explained, in a clam but stern voice, that I was a little put off by his response and the situation that I now find myself in and again, he should be taking some if not most of the responsibility for this situation. Tim doesn't want to hear any of this, he then makes a rude comment and hangs up on me! Now my doors don't work or slide open easily, they are an off white and I'm completely not satisfied. His workers were nice enough but they couldn't get the doors to open easily, telling me that "there new and stiff" or "it the doors Tim ordered, we can't do anyting else to make them work better". Do yourself a favor...never use Tim for anything...he stinks.

Taking advantage of ederly!I wouldn't even give one star. Charged an elderly woman $40,000 for windows doors and 2 bathrooms. Paid for a hurricane slider and just found out through appraisel it's not hurricane grade its regular.Totally blotched the tile in the master shower it looks terrible. Never completed the work. Horrible work!!!!!!! They at first installed the doors backwards. Total RIP OFF!!!! As you can see 3 years later then shower doors are still here in the box. Still holes in wall from where old lights were replaced with new ones. Again $40,000 $20,000 was for unfinished porly remodeled 2 bathrooms.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DOORS BY TIM!Well, it cost me $35.00 to learn that you should not do business with Doors by Tim. We contacted them about a new front door, and they wanted $35.00 to measure the door—fair enough. I looked at a few doors at their showroom and had a general idea of what we wanted. They came out to measure and brought a pushy salesperson who wanted me to buy the door right then. I wanted to wait on final door design selection, so my spouse would also have input as well as consider any limitations from the measurement. They got a little upset with that but we made an appointment to come to the sales office to select the door.My spouse took time off from work to make the appointment for Friday afternoon—I even called the day before to confirm the appointment. When we showed up, the lights were off and the door is locked. We called quite a bit, but we couldn't reach anyone, so we just blew the time for nothing. I left a message and when I hadn't heard back by Monday afternoon, I called again to figure out what happened. The salesperson was kinda snarky and said, “oh we closed early,” and after stating we confirmed our appointment she said, “oh we had an emergency.” (How convenient.) I then tried to make a new appointment for Saturday (something they said they did), so my husband wouldn't have to take off time from work again and I was put on “forever hold.”Terrible business with shady practices. Now I know why they wouldn't take a credit card for the measurement, only cash or check so you can't dispute the charge.

Front door replacement was a fiasco. The subcontractor Tim hired to do the installation broke the door frame in 2 places. Tim finally came to finish the job which had been abandoned by the sub. Tim made an additional mess of the bolt hole. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

Failed to properly install a screen patio door after multiple attempts...failed to show up on time after numerous attempts to get it right. I was bullied on the phone and in person. He called me names and attacked myvheritage and actually tried to nait me into avphysical altercation. Tim is dangerously angry and his staff is ill eqped to do work. I have him numerous opportunity do better and he failed...avoid Doors by Tim at all cost.

Doors by Tim replaced a rear door. They did a super job. Door looks fantastic. The door needed some custom work and it was done right. Crew who installed door were very professional and did not leave until I was happy. Same was true for the showroom staff, very nice and very helpful. Price was great too.Service: Remodeling

The only reason Doors by Tim is even getting 1 single star is because there is no option for 0 stars, also because Tim himself gave us a Doors by Tim pen that we used to sign a contract with another company to do our windows and doors. Helping make going with another company just that much easier.Tim came by our home to take measurements or our project himself, although any questions we had about specifics he continued to say “the girls at the showroom can help you”. The way he continuously used the phrase “the girls will help...” drove me completely insane. However, I was 9 months pregnant and decided to forgo listening to my instincts.Although we received our quote in a timely manner, upon visiting their physical location in Rockledge we were greeted and assisted by a nice lady at a desk. While sitting at her desk, going over our contract, pens in hand, doors picked out, along came two gentleman that also entered the showroom. The kind woman excused herself to grab Tim so that he may assist the two gentleman, being as she was a half hour deep into explaining our final contract to us.She gave Tim a stack of papers that needed to be explained / signed by the other two gentleman and asked him to assist (HIS OWN) customers. Tim instantly huffed and puffed over this simple request by his ONLY office worker at the time, and continued to ask her if she had copies. She kindly told him no, just make copies and have them sign. He again, threw a hissy fit and rudely told her that he cannot do anything without copies. (.......???? So make the damn copies yourself TIM?) The way he talked to her in front of my husband and I, plus the two gentleman seemingly embarrassed the girl as she turned bright red. It made me mad and also reminded me of the way he continued to “the girls at the showroom...” while at our home.Finally, after pushing my THREE year old daughters chair out of the way, with her in it—-himself (and saying out loud that he REALLY needed to get through here, in a pissy inconvenienced way) to get past the woman’s desk and out to again, his own customers, Tim finally made his way to the two gentleman that entered the showroom about 5-10 minutes ago. The two gentleman had questions about sliding glass doors, to which Tim said, (much to my surprise, but also not really) I’ll be honest, any questions you have, you’ll have to ask the girls”. I was flabbergasted I was hearing this, as HE WAS TIM. He should know how to answer simple questions about the products HE has chosen to sell!After dodging the questions the gentlemen had and passing them some booklet for them to read about the doors, he escorted them to the side of the desk my husband, daughter, and myself sat at.. still trying to sign this dang contract and get the ball rolling on a quite large $$ project.The kicker. Much to our dismay, Tim rudely excused the woman we were finalizing our contract with, the woman who was the only worker other than Tim in the office, to have her go help the gentlemen that came in AFTER US. She attempted to explain she was in the middle of our contract, however Tim was too incompetent to do his own dirty work, and said no I’ll sit with them. LOOKED AT US AND SAID “SHE WILL BE RIGHT BACK” forcing the girl out of her chair and to go start with the two guys that came in AFTER US, standing RIGHT NEXT TO US, to assist them!We sat there like deer in the headlights while she took care of the other men before finally, my typically very passive husband, bless him, had had ENOUGH. So we got up and left that b s.As a devout Christian, I can’t stand the way Tim talks to women and also plasters his fake Christianity all over his website and showroom. If he wants to add a quote to the walls of his showroom to make people get a good feeling about him, he should add that “at Doors by Tim, my work ethic sucks and everyone should go somewhere else.” - Proverbs 1:1.

Don’t bother getting this company out to your house. First of all, they charge $35 for an estimate. I would have never made an appointment after hearing that, but my husband was the one who called them and he thought it would be worth it, especially because they apply that fee to the work if you go with them. He was wrong! I was looking to get an estimate to replace two sliding doors. The woman they sent for the estimate did not seem to know much about the technical aspects of the sliding doors being offered. She did provide an estimate before she left the house, but it was more like a Mickey Mouse estimate. Not professional at all. There were no specs for the doors, no details on what the installation included. It was a total joke. It looked like a 5 year old prepared it. Ridiculous. And to add insult to injury, they were way overpriced. I mean, their estimate was almost double the amount of two other reputable companies in the area. Crazy. There is no way I would hire them to do the work. Now it makes sense why they charge the $35 fee. They’re so overpriced no one hires them, so they probably figured they have to make money somehow. Never again. I cannot recommend this company at all.

"Bathrooms by Tim" came in to do the remodel on the master bathroom of our house. The price was very good and job that they did was nothing short of super! My wife has MS and it was very difficult for her to get in and out of the old walk-in shower. Now it is extremely easy for her to walk in and walk out. The master bathroom looks so much better and is so much more functional now.

Worst company ive ever dealt with. The owner Tim comes by to do the estimate but u wont hear from him again. If theres any issues u will not get any call back from Tim the one who dold u the job.He sent his tile/bathroom guys out to our house to install my front double window which was around $1500.There is scratches ALL over our brand new window and after several attempts of reaching Mr. Tim the owner who we originally gave the job too, he was nowhere to be found.The office instead sent out there original installers to look at all the scratches and believe it or not they tried to use toothe paste to get the scratches out. (Not making this up) it did not work!There installers said Tim would reach out to us to discuss the warranty and get us a new window or fix the scratches but we Still havent heared from him. its now been way over a month. Ive called a couple times to there office, asking what the status is on our super scratched up brand new window and have not received a word.They will not be getting any service from us or any recommendations from our family at all.The fact that Tim is to busy to return a call but not to busy to cash a check says it all.This company wont be in buisness long with there lack of customer service and communication.Do not use this company.Unprofessional is putting it politely.

Bullying sales man, way over priced ($2800) for a regular non impact entry door. And when I said my neighbor purchased same door but impact for less, he got scathingly nasty. Charged $35 for giving estimate. AVOID! Ordered better door for $1800 installed. Saved me $1000.

Great company! Beat the door prices on the big box stores. Even for a custom made door. This is the second time I've used them. Now my mom is purchasing a new sliding glass door for the porch.

This company cancelled on my twice, because Tim was sick. Totally understandable. The third time they tried to cancel because they scheduled me on a day that they are not normally in my area so asked if I really needed them to come that day to which I said yes because I took off of work for this third time now. Then they still never showed up, I called and they never called me back.

I asked them to look at a job which they did. They did not get back to me in a timely manner. I had to call a few times to ask for a bid and was finally told they couldn't do the job. They wasted a lot of my time. I have no idea about the quality of their work however.
