This review is for Cecil Jennings Construction (2024). This company is licensed by the State of Georgia and insured. We hired Jennings Construction to repair damage resulting from a washing machine overflow in an upstairs laundry room. Extensive water drainage caused sheetrock and wood problems in the garage below and in the laundry room. A popcorn ceiling was replaced with plywood and moulding all around. It turned out beautifully. They continued in the laundry room per a water damage regimen, adding a drain and floor tile. It also turned out gorgeous. In addition to this repair, we replaced 22 original windows and added 5 new doors. A large outdoor deck pergola was rebuilt with the utmost stability for 2 swings that were added.The craftsmen employed by Jennings Construction have excellent workmanship and positive values about the job they do. Time management, planning, cleanliness, courtesy, thoughtfulness of our property, and kindness are some of our favorite personal qualities of the crew. The Site Project Manager, David, is excellent in keeping the homeowner reassured in every aspect. He is extremely knowledgeable and dependable in staying abreast of any issue that presents itself onsite…and promptly takes care of it. It’s a real comfort knowing that he kept us informed on everything and manages the crew with team-oriented finesse. His personal values are apparent and he shows a great deal of empathy for his customers. He is an important asset to the company. We also would not have had the experience we did without The Lead Estimator/Office Manager, Eric. He works countless hours for the customer, researching multiple companies, searching for the best quality and price from competitors, and presented us with an estimate we could not refuse. We gave him with pictures of what we wanted and he found exact items that were superior to what we had in mind. His estimating skills are spot-on. He has a heart for customer service and it’s very apparent from our interactions with him. Cecil Jennings Construction can be depended on for quality work, competitive pricing, efficiency, and onsite organization within a timely manner. The owner, Cecil Robert Jennings sets high standards for his company and employs people who will carry out his vision. We have used Cecil Jennings Construction on several projects in our home. Initially, we had our roof and facia replaced. It was done in a well timed and organized fashion with very little mess. A full remodel of our kitchen with back splash added, painted cabinets and new appliances. The process was seamless and ahead of schedule. The project was cleaned up every night before they went home. Stevie was open to helping me create my vision and make it a reality. He created bookcases with adjustable shelving according to the height of my decor. This improved the look of our home immensely without a huge cost. Jenning Construction painted my house, that was 5 years ago and the house still looks great. Used quality paint, fixed dry rot. I was 100% satisfied with their work. We decided to upgrade our 20 year old bathroom. And Jenning Construction designed and remodeled that space into a beautiful bathroom. They ripped out shower and jacuzzi tube replaced with new tile floors and walk in shower. Also replaced carpet in master bedroom with hard wood floors. We just had our roof replaced by Cecil and his crew, and we couldn't be happier! He came in well under many other bids, and gave us a 50 year warranty on new architectural shingles. The date was set up quickly, the crew did the job in one day(!), and the house looks great now. Thanks!

We had such a mixed bag of projects. A total bathroom redo with a walk in tile shower, LVP flooring installed throughout the house, extensive painting inside, repair and/or replacement of doors, steps, and woodwork outside, installation of ceiling fans and canned lights, and repair of floor joists. No detail was too small. Quality of the work was outstanding. There doesn’t seem to be anything that Jose and Eduardo can’t do, and they do it so well! David made it happen in a timely manner. David and Eric were great to work with. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Cecil Jennings Construction was an absolute pleasure to use. We hired Robert and David to finish out a guest suite in our basement. They also installed a full HVAC system and finished the stairway and halls leading down to the suite. Cecil and his team did a great job for us! They installed a deck covering a patio, two screened porches with lighting and ceiling fans, a covered walkway with wheelchair lift and stairs. The covered patio needed to be protected from the weather and rain and so the deck that was installed was made to drain rainwater away. They also repaired the roof, repaired damage to the kitchen ceiling and lighting and installed a gutter system with leafguards. Finally, they checked all the windows for damage and repaired those that needed it. They were timely, thorough, efficient, pleasant, honest and true to the estimated price. Cecil Jennings Construction is the one to call for excellent exterior painting and repairs! Our total exterior repaint job made our home look fresh and new. The pressure wash took off the mildew even at the hard to reach chimney. The paint prep was great with all needed repairs made. The paint job was neat and professional and completed much more quickly than we expected. Cecil's team is very responsive and work very hard to satisfy the homeowner. The painters also do driveways and will apply a non-slip sealant to keep their work looking great. We highly recommend Cecil Jennings Construction for professional, high-end work. David and his team from Cecil Jennings are hands down the best! We had water damage from several sources and needed the walls and ceiling of a closet repaired/rebuilt, porch stairs rebuilt and our chimney and an interior wall repaired/rebuilt. They were fantastic. The job was done expertly, on time and for exactly the price they quoted. I can't speak highly enough about the quality of their work. The porch stairs were built back three times better than the originals (beautiful, beautiful job, Jose) and you would never guess there had been water damage to the interior. Cecil Jennings’ Construction remodeled our master bath after doing a total gut job. We needed to have this done to make this bathroom handicap accessible. Before the work was done, Cecil came to our house to see what we needed to have done, and he worked up a detailed and very professional-looking estimate of what the job would cost. He and his crew were always prompt and courteous, and did high-quality professional work. We were very impressed with how they cleaned up after themselves everyday. Every day before starting work, they’d lay tarps down from where they entered the house through the garage all the way upstairs and down the hall to the bathroom where they’d be working. At the end of each day, they’d pull up the tarps and vacuum their way back down the hall and down the steps. Wow...we were so impressed! The entire job took a little over a month. Cecil and his crew were always available, even after work hours by phone, to address any concerns or questions we had about the remodel process. Our new bathroom has changed our life for the better, and is the best looking room in our whole early 1980s-built house. Cecil has called us more than once in the months since this job was completed just to make sure we were still happy with this bathroom and to see if we had any concerns. In our opinion, you can’t go wrong choosing Cecil Jennings’ Construction! :)
