I had first reached out and contacted a major roofing company in Athens that never returned my call. I then reached out to Oconee Athens roofing to discuss an inspection on my elderly mother’s roof. I got a very prompt and courteous reply. They worked with me on a convenient time to inspect her roof, as I do not live locally. The owner, Joseph Coleman, came out and got up on the roof to do a thorough assessment. Him and his partner talked with my moms insurance company. They listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. There were several areas of rotten wood in the old roof that were replaced. We went with a 30 yr warranty textured roof. Joseph and his crew had my Mom’s new roof completed in one day. It looks great and 30 yr warranty!! My Mom has already had compliments on her new roof and one of her friends wants Oconee Roofing to do her roof. Joseph is very prompt, and is there when he says he’s going to be there. He returns all phone calls. He doesn’t leave one hanging like some contractors do. Oconee Athens roofing is awesome and was the right choice!!! I very highly recommend them!!! Can be stressful having a roof replaced. Now imagine doing a complete townhouse community, yep every building. John and Wes were so helpful, honest and patient. Another five-star review for work well done. One of the owners actually did the work with a helper. I am confident they did what was necessary but no more. I would hire them again for any of their services (like painting). They also got right on the roof repair (water running down the side of chimney) the day before we had 3 days of heavy rain. These guys have been great. They answered my initial message for an estimate the day I left it and that was a Saturday. They walked me through the process and kept their word all the way through. They did the work for what the insurance estimated and did some extra like upgraded underlayment and ridge vents. The work was done well. Interior painting and spackling was not quite up to snuff the first time and they came back and fixed it until we were satisfied. I would highly recommend them and I will be using them again when I need them.
