He handled all the negotiations with USAA on my behalf (he actually met with two inspectors at different times, ). This was incredibly helpful. He supervised the installation team that put on my steeply pitched new roof and kept me updated throughout the process. I flew in when it was completed and he met me on a Sunday to do a final inspection. It looks amazing (architectural slate gray tiles) and compliments my brick home. Roof crafters did a great job with the roof. Scott was our point of contact and he was courteous and professional. Scott kept me informed throughout the whole process. Although we had a little hiccup after we hired them and the project was delayed. But as soon as they had a go the roof was done in a day and half. I've been dealing with RoofCrafters for over 6-Years and I highly recommend them. I used them originally because they offer a very strong warranty, which to me says something about a company. What says even more is that they honor their warranty and do not try to make any excuses should any issues arise.I've been in the construction industry for 30+ years and worked with contractors all over the country, RoofCrafters are the company you want to use when you need roofing. All of their people are courteous and efficient.I have worked with Mitch on multiple occasions, he is knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. He answers all of you questions and lays out all of your options. Recently RoofCrafters sent Paul to my home to do some additional work. Contacted RoofCrafters to inspect my home in response to the recent hailstorms in the Augusta area. They were extremely responsive in setting up an appointment. I was very impressed with Scott Wilson (RoofCrafters), he was punctual, kept me apprised of everything he was doing, and thoroughly explained his findings. He even came back to conduct a 2nd joint inspection with the Insurance Company. Luckily, I sustained insignificant damage. Scott Wilson is a very good representative of the company and therefore I will consider them for all my roofing needs in the future.

She inspected our roof and pointed out wind and hail damage that we didn't know existed, so we filed a Homeowners claim and got our roof replaced for only minimal cost. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! We had several trees come through our roof during Hurricane Matthew that caused extensive damage to our roof. 7 months later, we were able to recover from our insurance and it was time to find a roofer to finally "fix" the roof and get rid of the awful blue tarp. My husband works long hours, so it was my job to meet with all of the local roofing companies and obtain bids. I knew right off when I met Corey with Roofcrafters that he was trustworthy and a true professional. I met with over 6 different companies and the best bid we received was from Roofcrafters. Corey worked with me to ensure we picked the right color shingle for our house and did everything in his power to get us on the schedule ASAP.The company and its employees/workers went above and beyond what was expected. There was a lot more damage than they had initially expected because it was hidden by spray foam insulation. Instead of trying to "rob" us by doing a change work order--Corey and his crew, led by "Little David" the foreman did everything to actually rip out the broken parts of the roof and rebuild the section of the roof entirely. Working with Corey and the foreman on the job "Little David" restored my belief that there are still good companies with amazing people working with them that will NOT price gouge you and will do what they say they will. Coming from South Florida I NEVER expected such service on Hilton Head Island, but I can personally tell you they were AMAZING!! I would highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs--and make sure to ask for Corey--he was the most amazing of all! Thank you RoofCrafters for helping to elevate the stress that we have had since Hurricane Matthew on October 8th. My husband and I both agree that we will NEVER USE another roofing company again. Had new roof installed yesterday at my home in Hilton Head Plantation. Corey Lanier did the initial proposal based on his thorough examination of the roof and attic. The work was completed in about 15 hours and looks great. Despite all the debris that was created from removal of the old roof, my property looked as if no one had been there. Highly recommend this professional and very friendly group of people.

I called Roofcrafters (Jamie) to come and give me a quote on a flat roof section that was leaking. We looked at what was going on and she pointed out so many deficiencies in a flat roof original install (1 year old work done by another company who couldn't fix it and gave me the runaround even under warranty). She consulted with her roofing expert at Roofcrafters (Dave) via phone and detailed pics to understand the situation and where leaks were likely. Later they both came out to go over the job in more detail with me on the roof. They explained everything were well and were helpful for me to understand what and where issues were. They also noticed some flashing that was lacking from the original metal roof installation and included it in the work scope to make sure to prevent any additional and future water penetration. Roofcrafter supervisor Dewayne and installers later came onsite. Dave and Dwayne reviewed roof together and talked about what needed to be done. They took care of the details (ran the TPO membrane up underneath metal roof) and restored my metal roof back to original condition. They tied in flashing into stucco drip ledge and reinforced it with metal roofing material. They caulked all the cracks around stucco that was damaged by the other roofing company. They added TPO and metal roof flashing around my outdoor skylight where the leaks were coming from. They added the metal flashing on the ledges missed by other roofer. They laid out a 60 mil thick TPO layer on the flat roof with minimal seams and bonded all the seams that did exist. After work was completed and crew thoroughly cleaned up, I did a walkthrough with Dwayne. You can't believe how happy I was about their work and their honesty. After what I went through with the other roofer, they restored my faith in humanity. If you need a new roof or need a repair, I would highly recommend starting with Roofcrafters (Jamie, Dave and Dwayne) to get their assessment.

I don’t usually review companies but I had to give Roof Crafters an A+. My experience with Frank was great. He came out to my house the same day I called and quoted me for a new roof. When the crew came out, they were very careful of my roses that were planted along side of my house. They covered the area and worked diligently until the job was done. Frank came back out to inspect that the job was done right. If I ever need a roof at a future house. I will be calling Frank and Roof Crafters :)

Roofcrafters was great! They were the lowest quote. I had quotes for more than double what they quoted. They quickly scheduled us. At 8 a.m. they had almost all the shingles off. I left to get a coffee and I returned to find about 30% of the framing removed from my roof. I quickly got worried about additional expenses. It wouldn't be the first 'increased pricing' on Hilton Head. The pirates arrived here in the 1500's and they haven't left. They discovered more tree damage than originally thought and replaced a TON of wood. David, the foreman told me not to worry and pressed on. By lunchtime my rafters were fixed. Corey came out multiple times to check. Great guy. He told me there was additional damage, but no charge to fix. By late afternoon in a light rain, the crew finished up. I left the job site before they cleaned up. I had no worries that they would do an excellent clean up, and they did. I couldn't find ONE nail on the property.I plan on using them on another house I own on Hilton Head. I am glad there are still companies like them on Hilton Head. DO NOT HESITATE TO USE ROOFCRAFTERS, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Our roof looks amazing and at a rock bottom price, you can't beat them!

3 years ago waterproofing flat roofs (white plastic tablecloth-like membranes) were installed by RoofCrafters on the 2 second floor balcony floors of the house we bought this year. 1 balcony leaked after big rain 2 weeks after we moved in causing ruined walls/ceiling/windows in the room below. Estimated damage - over 10K. RC came over, informed us that the work was still under warranty (till June 11), were very apologetic, mentioned, that they were here only 6 months ago to do just this - deal with leakage(took the balcony floor decking over the waterproofing roof up, fixed the leaking roof and internal damage and put the decking back onto the waterproofing membrane). When the balcony decking went up this time, it revealed that the waterproofing membrane was installed by RC on improperly pitched/uneven floor causing huge drainage problems (balcony floor is actually lower than the the drainage scaffold holes) and ever-present pool of water on top of the waterproofing membrane - bad installation. We also observed, that the waterproofing membrane/roof was not properly extended to under balcony wood railing causing water leaking through not water-proof wood railing - bad design (both design and installation not done to a code, as our insurance informed us). Both Dave Owens and Fred McBride, who came to assess the original damage and promised to help in the beginning, gave us the same explanation - the decking installed over their roof was installed using improper long screws, causing the holes in the membrane. Our argument was - RoofCrafters ourselves (per Dave and Fred) reinstalled the decking over the membrane just 6 months ago using PROPER screws. Why did the roof leak again? To us (and insurance) the answer was obvious - ever-standing water-pool on the balcony floor due to improper/not to a code product installation causes the membrane itself to deteriorate, previous patches/seams opened causing the leak. When I pointed it out to Dave Owens, he yelled at me for the first time... RoofCrafters patched their roof again this time (membrane was already covered in billions of patches of all sizes/shapes) and left promising to come back to fix internal damage. They never returned. I tried to call/email. In the meanwhile, the 2nd balcony started leaking... It was a complete waterproofing nightmare. Dave Ovens was especially rude with me and the listing agent, insulting and even intimidating me over the phone once he understood the extend of the damage (you want to sue me? You will get nothing...!!) The company does not have any customer service/quality control/resolution center. It basically has 3 people in HH area - Dave Owens ( will yell and insult), Fred McBride (will never pick up) and a receptionist (never knows what goes on). There is no one else. The wall. We hired another contractor to deal with the damage caused by RC's waterproofing. When they cut the sheet rock, it revealed termites in the wet ceiling below the balcony. HH Exterminators Co told us that the ever-standing water above the ceiling caused it and will cause it again if the balcony floors are not rebuilt/pitched and leveled properly ASAP.... To make people aware of the company's business practices, we filed a complain with BBB and welcomed their roofing specialists to inspect RoofCrafters work. We believe, that It is the way the company deals with its mistakes(can happen to the best of us), that makes the business great. if you want the company, which not only can provide a quality installation (which RoofCrafters definitely did not in our case), but also the one which stands by their product in case something goes wrong, RoofCrafters is not your choice. Professionalism, integrity and honesty are completely absent here. Beware. No, we do not want to sue you, Dave, but we do want the future customers to be aware of the business you are in - hit and run.
