Bone Dry did an excellent job replacing the roof on the office at Winterville First Baptist. They were easy to work with. And afterward they did an extra sweep for any fallen nails since our playground is right behind the office.They have also done some repairs on our other roofs that have had leaks. They are quick to come out (within a few of hours), not leaving us several days with leaks.

Their pricing was competitive. Rene', Christine, and Ashley were friendly and took time to answer our questions about gutter replacement. The crew were cordial and professional as well. We upgraded from the 5 inch gutters that were installed on the house to 6 inch gutters and used the screw-in attachments to affix the gutters to the fascia boards as opposed to the nails which can come loose over time.Bone Dry also has a workers compensation policy that covers their own crews as opposed to other companies that do not bother to get this coverage at all. This is a relatively expensive insurance to obtain and is worth asking for the declaration page showing the coverage in force. Christine can help with this.Note: Some other companies will have workers compensation insurance for their office staff and exclude the crews who actually get on the roofs or deal with the gutters. I used Bone Dry Roofing to replace an existing shingle roof with a Metal roof. For many reasons I wanted something that had longevity and I personally love the look. I had 5 quotes from other well known roofers. 2 came in way over Bone Dry, 1 pretty far under and another close to this bid. I went with Bone Dry due to reputation and great customer service starting with Levi (sales) and project manager Colton Hanley. I like to be updated often and am hands on with a big project. They had no issues keeping me updated over the 4 days it took to replace and install a fairly tricky old 1900 farm house roof. Colton and his team came with a customer first attitude and found smart, economically friendly solutions to curve balls a 100+ year old home can throw. Commercial Grade Standing Seem Metal Roof on my House:Bone Dry is Top Notch 100 % AAA ++ in my Book. I had Several Quotes and talked to a lot of People before I chose them. I am so glad I did. Not the cheapest but I chose them because I wanted a Top Quality Job and they seemed like the folks that could do it. They Delivered, Big Time. From the Time when Colton came out to look at it and give me Quote until the time the Job was finally Finished. They were able to give me exactly what I wanted. I by trade am a Very Picky Aircraft Flight Inspector with over 30 years experience doing nothing but Detailed Work. I spent many of those Years doing Metal work so you could say I am very Detailed and Quit Picky, lol. The Top site Man Roofer was Great. New his Trade Very well. I was on the Roof many times throughout the entire project asking Questions and Inspecting the Work. A couple of years ago, Bone Dry Roofing replaced some shingles and told us our roof would need to be replaced in the next few years. When you have rain in your kitchen, that’s a pretty good indicator it’s time for a new roof. They came out immediately and repaired the problem. After a thorough inspection, they gave us a quote for a new roof. We found them to be prompt and reliable. The men worked from 7 to 7 for two days and they finished on the third. We were very impressed with the cleanup. They even used a metal detector to make sure they had picked up every nail. We appreciated their advice to schedule a Direct TV technician to make sure the satellite dish was positioned correctly. I am very pleased with this company, its workers, and the work they do. Many of my neighbors feel the same. They replaced my entire roof, and since my house is surrounded by mature oak trees, I have also had some damage from falling dead limbs. They come out right away to do estimates, and put a temporary patch on, until they can schedule a full repair. I like that they are an established company with a great local reputation to uphold.

Levi provided a very timely and fair proposal, and Rene scheduled the repair within a matter of days. The company provided its certificate of insurance (without me asking) as well as a thorough, written estimate – leaving no uncertainty with respect to the work to be performed. I have now used Bone Dry Roofing for 2 projects, a commercial flat roof / deck (oceanfront) and our home (typical shingle roof).They executed both flawlessly. I am really impressed - in an area where I am not typically impressed. Here's a few reasons. First, they started and finished on time. They laid in their supplies ahead of time so that they could meet our deadlines. Our building has nearly back to back vacation rentals, and we only had 8 days to get the roof done. Result: done on time. Second, they did professional work, and worked well with our other vendors. They helped the A/C guys (we replaced all the roof top units at the same time) and scheduled their work in a way to ensure the proper placement and timing. They worked with our deck vendor to help get him started so that the deck could be finished as well. Third, the project came in at the exact price they bid. And fourth, they were super responsive before, during and after the project - I always had someone I could call or email. On our house, same thing, they started and finished on time, had a very competitive price, and went the extra mile on things like cleaning up old skylights, leaving the work area neat, and helping my parents install a shade on the skylight (inside).One other note: many roofers operate on little if any working capital. Not so Bone Dry, I paid for both of my projects 100% at the end when they completed work. They are clearly confident in their ability to complete projects per schedules and per the plan.I wholeheartedly recommend Bone Dry.

My review is similar to Karen Solheim’s work below of the terrible job by Bone Dry Roofing for their Athens, Georgia team. We had a small portion of the roof and our gutter that needed repair. What should have taken less than one week actually lasted an epic 6.5 weeks!! It began with Christine Howell, who is the client services coordinator, that never reached out to us for over a week. I personally had to write to her on a follow-up due to the lack of communication.When Bone Dry Roofing finally came, we dealt with Wendell Hanley, the manager in charge of our gutter. He made misogynist comments to me about women, which clearly showed a gender bias. Bone Dry Roofing only has a male onsite team, which is terrible considering they are entering a residence’s plot and there may be female customers. His team also left our backyard gate open with debris and even long and sharp gutter nails on the ground, making this a potential risk for clients and their family! The gutter that was newly installed was shoddily done with it being slanted and black wire hanging out and not properly installed. This reinforces Karen Solheim’s review of their poor and sloppy work. Please see pictures of the gutter nails and the incorrect installment of the gutter.The next team was led by Jeremy Minish who was supposed to take care of our roof. Again, the work was poor, and they had to come a second time to fix the repairs. Jeremy is the supervisor for both teams, and the matter of repeating that the gates needed to be closed and all their debris and garbage to be properly cleaned up upon completion of the job was an eyesore, given that this is a basic standard practice, but difficult and unprofessional on the part of Bone Dry Roofing.The last day of their work, there was a worker by the name Juan Garcia, under the supervision of Jeremy Minish and Tyler, a junior manger, who came onto our private property, and decided to relieve himself in another section of our house! They were only permitted to complete the work where the gutter was located. He was not authorized or permitted by me or any family member to go to another part of our house AND use our property as a public toilet. He removed his pants and there was nudity and lewd conduct. I called the police, and a police report has been filed where Juan Garcia admitted to doing this transgressive conduct, and also with Bone Dry Roofing. When I got on the phone with Jeremy Minish, I asked him why is Bone Dry Roofing so bad?I leave this detailed review with pictures, because we caught one of Bone Dry Roofing’s employees performing lewd conduct onto our residence. It begs to question how many properties they do this without the owner knowing?Dealing with the entire Athens team, Colton Hanley, Christine Howell, Wendell Hanley, Jeremy Minish, and their junior staffers has been an overall experience that I wish no prospective person repeats. I even had their HR manager Susan Morgan try to diminish the experience even while their work was substandard and low quality, and the inappropriate behaviors by their team.I would stay away from this company!Services: Gutter repairs, Gutter installation, Roof repair, Roof installation

Bone Dry just replaced our roof. They did a great job! They showed up on time and worked for 12 hours the first day and 7 hours the second day. I couldn't believe how hard they worked! The roof looks great, and they replaced decking where decking was old and rotten. I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did. BoneDry completed a minor shingle replacement on my house. On the first try they used shingles that did not match well and I asked them to high Jack shingles from another part of the roof that is not visible from the street. That repair worked perfectly and it was completed in a timely manner. Overall I’m very happy with their work although for minor repairs their minimum charge is pricey at $350. My only complaint is that they didn’t pickup the removed nails. I picked up 5 nails on my walkway and I am confident that more are in the grass and shrubs.Services: Roof inspection, Roof repair

My roof had a problem at a back corner, where rain was washing off improperly and getting behind the gutter and into the wall. Levi came out and diagnosed the problem (shingles were lifting up at the bottom of a dead valley), and he gave us a reasonable quote to fix the issue. A couple of weeks later we had an appointment for the work. My husband, who works from home and was inside the house while the crew demoed and replaced the rotten portions of the roof, said they were in and out without needing contact with him at all. The work they did was phenomenal, and except for the brand new shingles and flashing you wouldn't even know they were up there because all of the debris was cleaned up. I'm guessing they brought with them more of the repair materials than they needed because they did leave some behind (two full sheets of OSB, about a pack and a half of shingles, and several rolls of underlayment), but luckily we have the space to store stuff like that in case we need it in the future. I also really appreciate the full report they gave me with huge, high quality photos of the roof before, during, and after the repair. I would not hesitate to use them again.Service: Roof repair
