When they started we had a little water damaged on the back side if the house they took very good care of us then and now there back doing work on our addition. We began seeing water spots on my ceiling so we called L.E. Schwartz to come evaluate where the water was coming in. The assessor came out and looked at the water spots inside the house, then took a few photos from the ground outside. A couple of weeks later a crew came out and worked on the roof. The next week a storm came through and the water spots got worse. We called L.E. Schwartz back and they sent a different assessor out to look again. This time he actually got out on the roof and measured where he thought the water was coming in. It was at this point that he discovered that it was not an issue with the roof, but instead the siding which could not be seen from the ground. He asked if the first assessor had gotten on the roof to look and we told him no. When I called L.E. Schwartz again, I spoke to the first assessor and he told me that the issue was the siding and that they don't fix siding. However, I still owed them for the "leak" that they did fix. I tried to explain that we've seen zero improvement in the original symptoms but was just told that "we did exactly what we said we were gonna do and fixed what we said we were gonna fix" and that "we are not in the siding and window business." I'm now out hundreds of dollars with zero improvement to my leak because they did not do a proper job assessing what the real issue was by not getting on the roof. I was offered a marginal "discount" but told that it was as low as they could go so that they wouldn't lose money on the job.
