Repairs Done RightWe had major structural and construction repairs done on our home from a tree fall. We had no worries about having the work done right and in a timely manner. The finished work quality was excellent. After the end of job inspection, we had zero punch list items. Jennell and Arnoldo responded to us within hours when we had had questions or wanted small modifications. They helped us work with the insurance company, throughout the 6-month process, to fully fund the back to normal house repairs. We will be calling AEM Construction again when we do major repairs or renovations in the future.Gary and Kim.

I chose AEM Construction after a house fire which started in the fireplace. I am more than satisfied with the quality work completed faster than expected. AEM took care of everything from the start of demo, electrical, plumbing, roofing, decking, fencing all the way to final touches completing my house. AEM kept me up to date on the progress through out the reconstruction with consistent communication. The design recommendations by Janelle were spot on! I could not have envisioned the beautiful house I returned to. I would recommend AEM to anyone thinking of a small job or total house renovation. They can do it all!!!

I rented services from this establishment back in October of 2023. Upon my return one of the employees blocked my vehicle in hindering me from leaving the premises on the notion that I was breaching my contract. Upon further investigation the employee “Marianna” realized she was in fact in the wrong and she became apologetic. The next day “Marianna” called me and requested my address so that she could mail me a gift card to rectify her wrong. Which I received, the gift card was for a store that does not exist in the city I live in. I thought it to be nothing. Today I called this establishment because they kept a piece of my property with a verbal agreement that I could retrieve it at a later date. During the interaction the manager of AEM Construction middle manned the conversation and told me I would not be able to speak directly to the person “Marianna” who was in the background of the audio. I remained polite and reasonable during the entire interaction attempting to explain that any outcome would be fine as long as it was communicated directly from the only person I ever interacted with “Marianna”. The “Manager” of AEM (A unnamed women) maintained a condescending tone throughout the call even raising her voice and belittling me with mentions of my credit report score and my inability to have a “Valid Point” in requesting to speak with the person who originally handled my business. All in all I never raised my tone or disrespected the young lady on the call however she decided to disconnect the call during me speaking after continuously cutting my words short as if I was beneath her. I would recommend to not do business with this establishment in the fact that if you have a similar situation you will be treated like less than a human. I was belittled, insulted, and I had my intelligence questioned while displaying the capability to communicate maturely. This place is terrible in relation to caring for the people they do business with. At your own risk conduct business with them. However I would permanently encourage everyone to do the opposite.

Simply wonderful! The AEM Team is fantastic!! They have a designer that shares her ideas, a manger that makes it all work and an amazing team that is kind, safe and the best of all…pure perfectionist! The attention to all details was a dream! They painted, installed shelves & doors, created a bar area in our basement, installed a fireplace and more…we could not ask for a better team to help us create the house of our dreams! Excellent Job, Fair Price, All Around Contractors with a Super Responsible Team.I've used AEM Construction for multiple projects in the past 5 years and they NEVER disappoint. Arnoldo, Eladio, and the rest of the team are professional contractors who always give a FAIR price and complete the job much faster than many contractors out there. In 2019 they painted our kitchen cabinets in less than 2 weeks. In 2021 they opened our basement (ours is one of the business pictures), removed the carpet, and reinforced a beam that holds the structure in less than 2 weeks. And in 2023 the restored our half bathroom and a basement bedroom due to a water backup in bathroom in less than 2 weeks. In 2022 they also gave us a quote to refinish our hardwood floors and to pain our backyard deck. It doesn't matter how big the job or project I can assure you the AEM team will take care of it in a fast and professional way. They even bring licensed electricians and/or HVAC technicians for structural jobs that require this type of services.I highly recommend Arnoldo and Eladio's business to all my friends because I can give testimony of the high quality jobs the team have done in our home. Excellent business, great and friendly staff and ALWAYS RESPONSIBLE and ON TIME. A+++!!!!

We have worked with AEM multiple times. The two largest projects being master bathroom remodel and basement finishing. In the master bath they did a heated floor for us along with the tile, tub showers, new electrical. We have loved the space. More recently we had them work on the basement (framing, electrical, drywall, flooring, painting, fireplace). We are VERY PLEASED!I have always felt like their prices are very fair for the work they are doing. My only word of advice is that the timeline is fluid, we are ok with that and dont mide working with them on this. We will continue to work with AEM on future projects. But, if you are expecting militarily precision on time and schedule, don't. Again, not a complaint, we don't mind it. But others might, so set your expectations. I used AEM for needed repairs after 2 water damage incidents and am beyond pleased with their work. They did drywall repair, painting, and electrical work. Everyone from the office staff to the workers was friendly and accommodating. I hated to have the need for the repairs of course but feel like I am in a new home thanks to AEM!

I worked with AEM construction to finish our basement. Throughout this process we received 5+ quotes and I was most comfortable with the quote we received from AEM. The way the quote worked was AEM would provide all the standard construction materials, (drywall, doors recessed lights etc.) but we would provide the flooring/tile/vanity/toilet/ceiling fans etc. The whole process to finish our basement took approximately 2 months (with a delay caused by the county which was out of their hands) to finish approximately 1800 square feet.Communication with AEM went well. Jennell and Arnoldo were very accommodating throughout the process. We worked out an established billing cycle which made the process easy. Additionally, any changes from the plan they worked with us; the only changes from the quote were for items that we asked them to change and I believe they were appropriately priced. Additionally, Arnoldo and team helped install cabinets which was a huge help.Lastly, I will say the workers that were with AEM were very respectful and had great attitudes. We had a large project – they worked with me and we asked them to do additional work because of the quality of their work (Deck Repair & speaker wiring). I can’t speak highly enough of this team.

I had AEM rebuild my chimney, which had deteriorated due to a long term water leak. Turns out what's hidden underneath was much worse, but they stepped up and took care of it- went WELL ABOVE what was contracted and pricing was more than reasonable. Not only did they rebuild the chimney, they corrected a (since 1977) construction defect which resulted in a leaky basement. Other firms (no names here) tried to sell me on foundation repair rather than fixing the true problem.What really impressed me was the work ethic of the crew. These people treated my home as if it were their own. Jennell always kept me up to date on what was going on project wise. It is so rare to find GOOD HONEST people who care about work quality as much as getting that check.I will be hiring them again to do more work on my house because they treated my house like it was theirs. I can't say enough about them, a class act in all respects.

AEM just completed a bathroom renovation for us and we are very happy with the results. It is quite clear that they don't cut corners and believe in doing things the right way. We asked them for a rather tight time-frame for completion and they were able to get the project done and the results are excellent. Arnoldo, the owner, works with good craftsmen that know their trades and they produce professional results. We were very happy with their carpenter, tile setters, electrician and plumbers.I'd recommend them to anyone and would like to work with them on additional projects around the house.

Our house is over 20 years old and several projects needed to be done. At first we hired AEM to repaint our kitchen. They did a beautiful job, so we had them do the other projects. I'd reached out to several companies in an effort to get quotes for painting the interior of my home. After being stood up a few times, I reached out to AEM. They scheduled an appointment for later that week, provided an estimate by the end of that day, and began prep work the very next. The estimate was fair and the work was superb. The estimated time they gave was 4-5 days and they finished in 3.5. The team they sent was respectful of my home and the work was very detailed and thorough. I have already recommended them to people within my personal network and am certain I will use them for any projects I have going forward.

Saw an AEM van driving down the road just after a leak in our roof caused or ceiling to collapse. AEM was on-site the next day to give us a quote, unlike other contractors we had contacted.Once materials arrived the were on-site repairing the roof, fixing our ceiling, as well as painting the ceiling and another ceiling for us.They're were the ultimate professionals.We will use them again for any other construction projects that may arise.

Arnoldo and his team at AEM Construction have remodeled many rooms in my home, but the latest was my kitchen. They installed drywall, beautiful tile flooring, recessed lighting, shaker cabinets, custom crown molding, granite countertops, added and moved outlets, installed appliances, installed a new replacement window and painted the walls and trim. They're very professional, dependable, show up on-time, work quickly, and did a fabulous job! Arnoldo would answer any questions I had, make recommendations, and his prices are great! We contracted AEM to finish part of our basement. This included installing doors, flooring, baseboards, and painting walls/ceiling/trim/doors. They did a great job and really went above and beyond and even fixed things that weren’t part of the scope of work. My one area for improvement is that they can be more proactive with communicating plans. I would have to message them at night to find out if anyone is coming the next day. Arnoldo always responded. They were by far the best price of everyone we contacted and I like that they use their own crew. We are hiring them to do additional projects for the house. We highly recommend!

I had a great experience with AEM I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get quality service at a reasonable offer. They did such a great job with the repairs needed in my home from water damage. My living room and den needed drywall and paint. My bathroom tile needed to be replaced. My wood flooring needed to be replaced as well. They did all my flooring and little extra things I needed done. I am very pleased with there work and how they cleaned up each day after they were done. Thanks again Arnaldo for everything AEM will be doing my future projects.

I found AEM by a google search and similar reviews. The team built a detached two-car garage, altered the courtyard slab, and added railings at my house. During the whole pandemic, Marianna, Jennell, Arnoldo, and team were on the ball and made a perfect match to my existing garage as intended. As a facilities manager for a company in midtown Atlanta and I use AEM Construction for all of our building renovations and most repairs. They have completed renovated many of our offices, including our executive offices, mailroom and restrooms. From drop ceiling installation, wall removal, drywall repair and installation, wallpaper removal, painting, wood floor refinishing, faucet installation, and electrical work to hanging whiteboards, televisions and artwork...they do it all. After a typical roof replacement gone TERRIBLY wrong (by another company, NOT AEM), AEM saved the day by renovating our entire house. Here's all the work they did for us:- Removing all the wet insulation, drywall, carpet, etc.- All new drywall (ceilings, walls, including making a doorway smaller for barn door installation)- Recessed lighting installation in every room in the house- All new tile in four bathrooms- Expanded master bath shower and glass shower door installation- New toilet and sink installation in every bathroom- Installed utility sink in laundry room- Removed wood flooring and installed Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring on main level- Sanded and stained all banisters- Re-bricked fireplace and shiplapped above fireplace- Installed new light fixtures and ceiling fans- Trim and paintwork throughout the entire houseThey did a great job. Naturally, with a job this big, we ran into some issues. Arnoldo was wonderful to work with. He was always willing to listen and worked hard to fix issues so that we were pleased. An 80-foot tree fell on our house and we needed huge repairs – the entire roof replaced, rooms re-drywalled, rafters replaced, the porch rebuilt, electrical work done, painting, concrete sidewalk repaired, cabinetry work, etc. We needed a fantastic contractor who could handle everything, deal with our insurance company, complete the work on schedule, stay within budget, do a beautiful job, and maybe squeeze in a few extras for us. AEM did all that and more. I could not be more thankful for them, and I recommend them to anyone who needs a contractor. Jennell and Arnoldo are a powerhouse team. She is a great communicator and project manager, and she went to bat for us several times with our insurance company to make sure things were covered. He headed up the crew and made sure all the work done was perfect quality and that we were happy with how it turned out. They went above and beyond every step of the way, even mowing our lawn, cleaning the house, and power washing the driveway at the very end of the process. We felt so comfortable with them and their team that we actually went on vacation in the middle of the repair process. I am so happy we chose them; it could have been a vastly different process with a different contractor, but instead our house looks way better than it did before the tree fell on it. I contracted these guys to do our drywall and interior painting on our 100+ year old farmhouse remodel. They did an outstanding job. With this house being so old, none of the framing was plumb, level or square but you could hardly tell after these guys got done with the drywall. They did a great job on the caulking and painting as well. There were no surprises on the bill either, they gave us a quote and stuck to it. I highly recommend AEM to anyone.
