GREAT nursery! Definitely worth the pleasant drive. Have been there several times and the staff is uber knowledgeable and helpful. They have tons of choices and the plants are beautiful and healthy! They have related services and I hired them to install a gate in my garden, and they did an exceptional job.

I have the honor to be a first generation customer of Aikane Nursery. It has been more than seven years and I continue to be very pleased with their lawn service. I have watched their best workers start at the bottom and work their way up the ladder to become team leaders. Their crew is always reliable, respectful and hardworking. It is a pleasure to see local young men and women learn new skills and develop responsibility and a positive work ethic. In addition, the office and on site nursery staff is competent and responsive. I really like Aikane Nursery and have been using them/going there for about seven years. Brad and a crew has come out and planted trees at my place a few times and I go to the nursery and buy plants regularly. As with all live plantings, some survive better than others, but it's always a fun experience seeing what will thrive in my harsh growing conditions. I always know when I'm looking for something Brad is going to have a way to source it if it's available in Hawai'i. I'm happy I found Aikane all those years ago and always recommend them to friends and neighbors.

My experience with Aikane has always been excellent. They have by far the best collection of natives on the island, a huge selection of ground covers, and fruit/ornamental trees that are not available many places.

Just when I thought I would have to pick a different tree to be the centerpiece of my son's memorial garden because I couldn't find a Bodhi tree for sale anywhere on the island and I had concerns about the stress on a plant that could be shipped here....Brad replied to my email inquiry. They had the tree I had been searching for. Not only that, but my tree began its journey as a gift and wasn't technically part of their inventory. But it was perfect for my needs and Brad was so gracious in passing his gift on to me. The best part is that my son's name is Makana which of course is the Hawaiian word for gift.I am eternally grateful to Brad and all the good folks at Aikane Nursery for helping me complete my son's memorial garden and giving me a wonderful story to connect with this special tree.

Great selection of native plants and non native fruit trees/popular landscaping plants.Great staff, reasonable prices. Quality genetics, some native plants reared from sees.A few improvements:1. Spotted a purple fountain grass in stock (Pennisetum setaceum rubrum) which is an invasive2. Nursery is not very public/user friendly.3. Poorly labeled plants however the Staff is knowledgeable of all plants in stock4. Native plant stock contaminated with invasive weeds making them unsuitable for wild plantingsKeep up the good work guys👍and happy planting
