About 3 years ago a couple of guys came out to give us a quote on moving our toilet and in the process they said that the old cast iron pipes had many small cracks and needed to be replaced. So almost all of the cast iron was replaced with new pvc pipes, the toilet was moved and they were on their way. Almost immediately we started having drain issues in our kitchen sink, nowhere else, just the kitchen.We thought it was just one of the few cast iron stretches left. Over the last few years it began to drain slower and slower until finally in the last 6 months it got worse. We had tried to handle it ourselves because we didn't want our landlords to have to pay even more to a plumber. Unfortunately, we had to have the plumbers come back .So Matt and Robert showed up (not the same guys as before), after a long days work they packed up and prepared to return the next morning.After we had a kind of testy conversation (due to my misunderstanding) about the cause of the drain issue/clog they further investigated the pipe done previously by their coworkers (who no longer work there) and found the problem we complained about. Their ex-coworkers had indeed done the pipe wrong and that was the problem all along.Apologies had already been exchanged among us and ultimately we talked it through, it was good. They also did a fantastic job fixing the pipe and now we have a vortex in our kitchen sink. These two really came through for us, they even changed out the valves for our washing machine because they had opened one and it wouldn't close all the way, it had a small, slow drip. It wasn't their fault and we in no way expected them to do that, but they did anyway.They weren't responsible for the hack job done by the other guys, and yet they had to deal with our frustration and fix someone else's mistakes. Overall, they did great and we are thankful for them. Thank you Matt and Robert for your understanding for us and for making it right, we appreciate you.

I wish I could choose MORE stars! I can't say enough about Matt and his team. I am at the tail end of a kitchen remodel and On The Ball has been there for me through it ALL. Whether it was random plumbing work or emergency issues, Matt had it handled. He went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed and as fast as humanly possible. When I needed a new toilet to make sure guests at my birthday party didn't have to "hold the handle"...he searched high and low to find a toilet and install it in time. When my kitchen was torn apart and he saw that I was washing dishes in the shower, he hooked up my dishwasher in the middle of the mess, so that I could keep the dishes out of the bathroom. When my new sink arrived about a month and a half into the remodel, he knew how desperate I was to have it hooked up, so he stayed after hours to ensure I got running water again. When our flooring guys removed a piece of trim and water shot all over the laundry room... yep... saved the day! He took my frantic call, guided me to the water shut off valve for the house, and showed up just an hour later to ensure I wasn't left waterless over the weekend. When I say he is my hero, I'm not lying. I've never had a service professional impress me like this man. Oh... did I mention that he even called the plumbing supply store ahead of time so that when I walked in CLUELESS looking for parts, I was greeted and shown to my items!? Yep. Beyond great service!!! Just a great human, too. Kind. Extremely knowledgeable. Efficient. Oh, and the price was great too. If you are looking for a plumber, look no more. Rant over... until next time. I cannot say enough about On the Ball! After two weeks of no hot water (due to the incompetency of the property management company), they made time in their very busy schedule to install a new water heater. They were professional, friendly, competent, and I would call them again in a heartbeat! The two gentlemen who completed the installation told me despite their very full schedule, they made the necessary arrangements to take care of me and expressed great concern over the length of time I had been without hot water. I had a horrible "water hammer" which is banging in the pipes. The first thing that impressed me was that we had a good conversation about how to rationally proceed to address the problem. Next, they were able to duplicate it which I wasn't able to do. We decided a pressure reducer was a good first step and if that didn't fix it, we could look at tearing out drywall to get to where the banging was located. What I really appreciated was that they spent the time to fit the reducer and a new valve into the existing area in the wall. They could have just said "sorry, we need to tear up some of your wall" because it was faster. So far no banging so hopefully the problem is solved. Terrific experience!Service: Plumbing pipe repair

I've used this company several times for business purposes. Always fixed the issue at hand, reliable, friendly, and always seem to pay under what they first quote. Used them for an at home water heater and pipe replacement. Again... outstanding service. The guys on the job know there stuff . Had a water heater fail around 3am. Called our normal plumbers left voice message on answering machine and never received a call back, even during business hours. Called On the Ball and they had a live person taking the call at that crazy time who helped me with my immediate issue over the phone and got the ball rolling for a replacement. Dispatch kept is in the loop on arrival time and techs who came out were professional, patient, and top notch. Overall, great experience and these folks are worthy of your business!

Grant and his team are awesome. I called in the morning about a plugged sewer line and they had it resolved by noon on the same day. They went above and beyond to take care of the issue, without trying to upsell me to a product I didn't need. When you have sewer issues, the last thing you need is a company trying to take advantage of you, so I appreciated their upfront, honest approach. These guys were so patient and kind to us. We had a sewer backup and we found out we don't have an easy access in the yard to the pipe so they had to go on the roof and go down the vent pipe. To do this we had to move everything we had on the side driveway of our house so they could get to the roof. They were very kind about the situation and while we were moving all of my husbands "treasures" they went to another call. They came back and got the job done and even though they had to come back and wait and by the time they were done it was after 6pm they didnt charge any extra. It was so appreciated, especially because of Christmas. Thanks again guys!

We had a leak coming off our pressure tank. It was Memorial Day weekend, and we called ON THE BALL PLUMBING and within two hours we had Matt come to our house to fix the leak. We called to get someone out to look at the plumbing on a dishwasher as well we to replace 2 bathtub drains in a duplex. The person came and said they don’t repair dishwashers and left. After calling back was told they would come fix bathtub drains. A week later I get a bill for $185 telling me they lengthened and overflow screw in one of the tubs but both drains needed replaced. THATS WHAT I CALLED YOU FOR!! So frustrated! What a waste of time and money!Service: Plumbing leak detection

We called On The Ball to swap bathroom faucets with new ones we had bought. When they arrived to do the job they quoted $700 each to replace the bath tub faucets. We had him just change 2 sinks and look at the toilet. He took 2.5 hours to do the job (charging by the hour). After he left we found the sink was leaking water and the faucet was loose and wiggly. We also found he replaced the innards of the toilet with the cheapest possible parts so it runs slow and does not fill enought to have much flushing power.By the way, a competitor just quoted $900 to replace both of the tub faucets instead of $1400 total quoted by On The Ball.Well never used again.
