Jack, I only met you one time at Greg's home where you got the 1 star review. I am the contractor who made some repairs that he insisted on. For the record, I told him your work, although not perfect, did not deserve the scrutiny he was applying. I rate your work a strong 8 out of 10 (nobody gets a 10) and would let you install siding for me and my company any time. He has made an effort to defame my good name as well. I only wish we could rate him. You were a gentleman with good intentions.Mike

The big brick bungalow we purchased in 2019 had been lovingly restored inside in many part, but the basic structure was overdue for some TLC.We first worked with White Eagle Remodeling as a window installer subcontracted by our basement remodeling company who also updated the plumbing, electrical and interior drainage. White Eagle employees helped us pick out a gorgeous custom Pella window in front and then installed it and some fantastic replacement slider windows as well.So later in 2020, when we decided to do a roof tear-off, replace the upstairs windows and the shingle-style siding on the second floor, AND replace 30-yr-old metal siding on back addition, we called White Eagle for the job.We wanted wanted a contractor we knew we could rely on to do custom work, build new eaves, and tackle any surprises waiting behind the old siding & under the much-repaired roof.Jack came out, gave us an honest estimate that fell in the middle of the quotes we got and helped us find siding & roof colors that would really complement the brick of the original bungalow.The White Eagle crew was fast, friendly, completely professional at all times, cleaned up every day, and worked quickly. This being the pandemic year, having people inside the house for the window work was a concern, but everyone from White Eagle was fantastic about following good safety precautions at all times. We really appreciated that.The tear-off was complicated (two & three layers of old siding glued to wood under the metal in some places!) and it kept uncovering problems.The crew tackled every surprise without complaint or demands for anything extra, replacing entire swathes of nasty old lumber and ply with new materials.The result is gorgeous, and it was wonderful to go through a winter with properly insulated second floor non-drafty windows. Oh, and the windows! The replacement Pella windows went in fast, and the interior trim work White Eagle's carpenter performed is beautiful.When it's time to replace the remaining windows on the first floor, where we'll want custom work done to keep the historic detailing intact, we'll be definitely be calling White Eagle again. i owe this company an apology for not putting my review in sooner. Last year jack and his crew were hired to do a roof and gutters. We ran into structure problems every direction we turned and ended up needing a whole lot more than just roof and gutters. When they pulled off the shingles all the plywood was dried out so bad that every sheet had to be replaced. And instead of just telling me he showed me exactly how bad it was. It was no lie as to how bad it was but he also knew there had to be a reason. He found it and showed me all of that as well. When the 2nd floor was put on decades ago they never cut any vents in for ventilation in the attic. Fortunately for us Jack knew what to look for and was able to cut the proper ventilation in the soffits for ventilating. It’s a year later and we can feel the difference this has made. My upstairs is no longer a sauna all summer now that some of the heat has a way to escape. I am thankful to these guys for the way they took care of my problems. DID I MENTION.....the work they did is beautiful and I fell in love with the curb appeal my house has now. They cleaned up every night knowing I have Lil kids here. They always asked before leaving if I was ok with where they put things to store them for the night. I would refer them to anyone. Remember as they say..... you get what you pay for.
