Called Black Diamond after calling other places with no luck in getting answers for some questions on a water heater and softener. After talking with the office coordinator, who was able to answer my questions and whatever she didn’t know she went to find an answer, I felt comfortable knowing they had staff that was willing to go above and beyond. Colton showed up, gave me a quick diagnosis with a plan of action and quote for all the work. He was very patient and understanding if I wanted to call other places for other prices. Decided to go ahead and once the work order was signed, he made calls and got to work on replacing my water heater and softener. He took care of minor issues when dealing with the water and gas piping. He explained all the procedures that he was going to perform with a reason and worked very well with his apprentice. At the end of the day, the softener had a manufacturing defect that required a 2nd trip, he was very apologetic about the situation with much concern about not being able to complete the work in time. Cleaned up the work area and closing all doors as well. Came out the next day and continued to work on the issue until job was satisfactorily completed to standard. 10/10 would recommend Black Diamond to anyone.

Jimmy and Zach came to my home to fix a few small items and do a gas line for my stackable washer and drier. Extremely professional and the quality of work was awesome. I would highly recommend black diamond and these technicians for anything plumbing related! Very reasonably priced too! Awesome job guys!

Nick Ca. did a fantastic job. When he came we had no hot water after installing a few new pipes and a lot of hard work and ingenuity we had hot water. We were impressed by his concern over our issue. We would highly recommend him.

lack Diamond sent Roger T to check on my sump pump. He was extremely courteous and helpful. Although my pump is old, is is still working, but I had him give me an estimate for replacement, which he did, without any pressure to do this immediately. I really appreciated his professionalism and guidance. I will most likely have him put in a new pump shortly. I highly recommend him and Black Diamond.

Black Diamond came through once again! We were having several issues with some PVC pipe running some new machines. Colton came out late in the day and proposed a plan. He ordered the parts and came the next and ran everything new. Everything looks and works great! Glad we had Colton onsite!

Nick was courteous, friendly and professional. He went far above expectations in dealing with our plumbing leak. The area was dry and clean when he finished his work. We highly recommend him (and Black Diamond) for any plumbing needs. We were so impressed we joined the Crystal Club with a commitment for the next 3 years to deal with yearly inspections of the furnace and hot water heater with a full flush each period. As well as an annual air conditioning unit check. Services and equipment are both offered at a club discount for members. Hats off to Nick! Black Diamond....'He's a keeper'! What every employee representing you should aspire to be! He's the benchmark!

Enjoying my NEW hot water tank NOT installed by Black Diamond! Technician was super knowledgeable no doubt about it. However $4700 for a new hot water heater? I don't think so! We went with another company and were serviced today.40 min total time! Same upgraded tank WITH WARRANTY! They even checked everything in the ceiling and re-routed the exhaust vent for me. $2650 total cost. Needless to say im happy I said NO to Black Diamond Plumbing! I can understand if you are in a pinch and need work NOW! But if it can wait, do yourself a favor and save A LOT OF MONEY and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I can only imagine how much the cost would have been for other things I need fixed in my home. Thank God I took a min to look elsewhere!#dontgetrippedoff

Black Diamond is simply outstanding. We used them on several occasions; to replace exterior garden hose valves, to replace the main water valve from the village and surrounding copper pipes, and to install a water softener. The service technicians were amiable, clean, respectful of our home, had intelligent insight, and were reasonably priced. They are our “go to” for all plumbing issues. Excellent 5 star service.

Though the circumstances were not ideal Erik did a great job communicating what needed to be done and was professional. Did some quote shopping and Black Diamond pricing was more in line with Chicago than locally. The team did a good job but it was at a premium price

Amazing!! Roger was extremely informative and polite. And he was able to resolve the issue very quickly! He even had to come back a second time after our septic was drained. CAUTION PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CALL!!!My mother called Black Diamond to come look at her plumbing in the bathroom. She had no pressure in the bathroom faucet and the city had just finished working on a water main up the street. The bathroom faucet was the only issue the shower and toilet all worked fine, just no water pressure in the faucet. So I met with them for her and Black Diamond looked around but did not touch the pipes. The representative told me that my mother's entire water system needed to be replaced. He said there's no way to repair it because it was galvanized piping. He quoted us a price to replace all the pipes including the water main into the house. After he left my mother and I were talking and couldn't understand why the entire system needed to be replaced and why both the hot and cold water in just one sink had no pressure..So I decided to unhook the hot and cold water to that faucet to check the pressure coming in ....we had plenty of pressure... So I took the faucet out and took it to HD to replace it since it was less than 2 moths old. I installed the new faucet and everything worked fine. So in less than 1 hour and at no cost my mother's and her sink worked great. Yet the plumbers who came from Black Diamond insisted there was no way to repair it the only option was to replace the entire system for several thousand dollars!! Why as plumbers wouldn't they check the pressure to the sink FIRST!!! I'm not a plumber and I fixed it in less time than they spent trying to sell me and entire re-piping....IF YOU CALL THIS COMPANY MAKE SURE YOU GET A SECOND OPINION.....CROOKS.....

Both when Kyle and Elvis entered the home, very respectful and friendly. They had their little booties on so that they would not scuff or dirty the floor. They went through in each and every detail as to what needed to be done. I appreciated their honesty, and in describing exactly what it was that they were going to do. These are the people to call! I won't waste time going anywhere else. Spoke to three of the office staff members, which were all professional, helpful and friendly. Techs (shout out to Carey and Erik) have been on time, every time, had great communication and got the job done quickly.
