We hired Baney to install a steel roof for us after we had wind damage from a line of severe storms that came through. Every single thing about the experience exceeded my expectations... from our sales rep, Dylan, talking to my 6 year old while her Dad and I were looking at colors to the job foreman answering my questions and explaining everything to me, every detail was handled with care. Everyone was so helpful, considerate and professional! I was relieved beyond words to know that Dylan would speak directly with our insurance adjustor! We were treated like family and I can't wait to work with them again (just hopefully remodeling next time, not repair from storm damage). Thank you Baney crew!

***Buyer Beware***Chris Leonard with Baney Construction was responsible for the roof replacement at my house. The initial conversation went well and he explained the process for the insurance claim. I was encouraged and trusted what he had to say. He helped me navigate the insurance claim and explained the process.Unfortunately, that was the best part of the experience. When their crew came to replace my roof the truck they were going to put the old roofing material in had a flat tire so it was not there. The crew proceeded with tearing off the old roof and throwing all of the roofing materials down onto our lawn and into our flower beds. (We had just planted new plants and laid new mulch.) In addition to having roofing materials (specifically nails in our yard and in our flower beds) they also had tar on our siding and broke PVC pipe that the sump pump drained through. When the crew was "done" they left our patio furniture in the yard for us to put back. After multiple phone calls and complaints we were able to work through the issue. (see pictures below) Over the coming days, weeks and literally months we continued to find nails in the yard.I was encouraged by what Chris Leonard had to say about the experience I could expect. After I signed the contract with him I shared my initial experience with my sister-in-law. She met with him and was impressed as well. She signed a contract to have her roof replaced as well. The experience I had with my roof pales in comparison to her situation. After her roof was replaced it was noted that the gutters were not installed properly. The gutters were nailed to the roof through the top of the shingles which voids the warranty. Additionally, the flashing was not replaced even though it was submitted to the insurance company that it was. When asked about it she was told that there would be an additional cost. Chris Leonard would not accept responsibility or wrongdoing for the workmanship that his team provided. The situation was escalated and required many phone calls and weeks of working through the situation. Payment was witheld until the situation could be resolved.There was intent to commit insurance fraud. Until that was highlighted and there were threats to report the situation for insurance fraud AND withholding the insurance payment until the job was done correctly nothing was taken care of.In summary, 2 out of 2 roofing jobs had major flaws. There was lying, deceiving and poor workmanship in both instances. I was not impressed with Baney Construction.

Our home was damaged by hail. We have called numerous Contractors for our roof and siding repairs full replacement. After talking with three different contractors we decided to go with Baney Construction of Rockton IL. We met with Joe O’Brien from Baney and he assured us that he would follow through with our insurance company and we needed to worry about nothing. He inspected the roof and siding and he took it from there. When he left our home he left us with that trusted feeling. All work was completed in three days with quality workmanship, professionalism, and dedication to the repairs and was open to our thoughts. The process was explained perfectly and the final result was exactly what we expected. Total project was a success and total duration including conservation’s with our insurance company was less than two weeks. We highly recommend this company in Rockton IL and will use again. Thanks again Joe O’Brien for being so awesome to work with.

Baney installed a new roofAfter the new roof was a leak started in the basement. the stink pipe leaked in the basement. They would not come back and look at it. We called them over a half a dozen times. The roof did not leak until they put a new roof on it. We called a roofing contractor and he put a new Rubber seal around the stink pipe and we waited over a year and a half to have it fixed. We kept calling they would not come back and look at it. The new roofing contractor said it was the Rubber seal around the stink pipe was Disturbed when they put the new roof in, and it needed a new seal. Which caused our ceiling to start to crack open .After the repair we never got water down our basement again. Our living room ceiling starter create a crack 6 months later near the stink pipe.We hired a Union plaster man. After he opened up the ceiling crack, he said your roof has been leaking.The water damaged the ceiling . It cost us over $2,000 to have our living room ceiling repaired all because of the roofing company hires unqualified people to give quotes and Hispanics to go up on the roof. And call them roofers.They would not come back and look at the leak I wouldn't recommend them to roof my dog house.

I cannot praise the work of Baney and their agent, John McAfee enough. This has been an smooth, and flawless process. John managed the roofing and the skylights, even being here on site to monitor the work. Now he is helping with the rest of the work that needs to be done.
