I needed some tuck pointing and some caulking done on my house. I went through Hone Advisor, and I was happy with the reviews that they were given by part customers. The price was very fair, the work was completed in a timely matter. After the job was completed, the crew cleaned up the work area. Definitely I would recommend Royal Construction to other home owners.

Steer clear from this company- huge red flags from the very beginning! Stand came over with his grandson in without even really looking at the job, in 5 mins, he gave me a lowball quote (odd) which is nowhere in the ballpark of what more reputable companies were quoting me for the job. When I asked him to put it in writing, he refused, and he said he was doing me a favor, and that I needed to decide right there and then. When I asked him to tell me the details of how he was going to do the job (the process, materials, etc. ) he was condescending and said he had been doing this for 40 years, and that he didn’t need to explain to me the details ..he’s an expert he said. All of this lines up with all the other reviews on yelp that I read where he tries to take whatever deposit he can and then either do a sloppy job or never show up at all. You have been warned!

Royal ConstructionWe found Royal Construction on Home Advisors website. We invited several contractors for bids. We have been looking for a while. My wife and I own a 2 flat in the city. The place was in shambles when we first got it. The last thing to deal with was tuckpointing. It was on the verge of konking me in the head with a brick to wake me up. Stan was the first to call me. He came by, gave us a great price. Kept in constant contact for scheduling around some bad weather. The day he said his guys were coming they did bright and early. Dispite the amount of extensive repairs. They knocked it out quick. We went over it all and were very, very happywith the work that was done. Stan is top notch and his crew was the best.I would highly recommend him and use him on the rest of my projects.

I have had Royal Construction in Skokie do two jobs on my building. Stan and his men did exactly what they promised to do. Their work is of a high quality, and is done in a timely fashion. And their bid was significantly below the competition.

Stan was fantastic. He came on time, gave me an estimate within 5 minutes. My first estimate was $8500, Stan came in at $2500. The work was beautifully done, and workers left the site much clearer than when they started. Fantastic 5 star experience all the way.

Very disappointed, the wood they used under the gutters were not treated. Didn’t find that out until another professional told me. The contract stated that ALL old wood will be replaced and they didn’t. When I asked why wasn’t it replaced they said it’s not old when the wood is clearly cracked and old. I wish I had shopped around, because another contractor gave me a quote half the amount Royal construction charged.
