Paitson came to my home to give me an estimate on my roof. Everything was explained and a day or two later I received the estimate which was pretty close to what I thought it should be. They had to order the shingles I wanted, but they came in pretty quickly. Scheduling took about two weeks, since I’m not their only customer. The crew showed up at the scheduled time, and proceeded to rip off my old shingles. I noticed that they only ripped off what they could replace that day. My roof was never left unprotected from the weather. The entire job took 3 days, and so far, I’ve not found any loose roofing nails on the ground. So, yes. I would definitely recommend Paitson and Son for your roofing needs. My new roof looks great. And, oh yeah, they found some broken wood up there, and replaced it at no charge to me. Good job!

Still waiting on my estimate from October 2023. It's now April 2024. I had to call 3 times to even get someone to come out and never even got an estimate for repairs.

They had a great price (roughly HALF of what Honest Abe wanted to charge us!) and the roof is great quality. We had 3 or 4 layers of shingles with wooden ones on the bottom, broken gutters and rotted wood all around. Our house is a steep 2 story home near a bunch of power lines and they worked on our house in 100 degree weather.They did an amazing job, the workers were as nice as can be, and I highly recommend them to anyone.A few days after they finished our roof we had a huge storm that flooded all parts of Terre Haute and we didn't have a single drop of water leak. We are super happy with our roof! Thanks!

I have used Paitson & Son for home improvements over the last few years: roof, guttering/soffits, and most recently, a window enlargement with new window. They and their staff are always friendly, courteous and prompt. If there's a question about their work, just ask and they'll provide an answer (I'd had questions about new roof, mostly about materials and process). I think their prices are reasonable - they underbid two other companies for the roofing job and also explained to me the reason they were able to do that. I recommend them.

I had a great experience with Paitson and sons. We had a new roof on the house and garage and new siding and a couple of windows on the house. Steve has a great crew of workers. Extremely nice and personable and hard workers. Steve checked on them several time throughout the project and kept me updated on everything. I will definitely use them for anything else I need in the future.

We needed our roof fixed. We had some wind and hail damage. Turned out we needed the whole roof replaced. We had to go through our insurance company and they were really great with how the insurance wanted to pay.They were great. Worked well with my husband and myself. We had a small, non-emergency roofing issue and had three different roofing companies come out to give us quotes. Paitson & Son put a bid in that was a little higher than the other two but we were impressed with their professionalism. They returned calls promptly, came when they said they would, presented themselves well, and did quality work. The fixes they are hardly noticeable but seemed to have resolved the problem. Finding quality workers in Terre Haute can be difficult and so we will likely use this company again for any issues we have in the future.

sometimes when you are needing a new roof , where do you look. My recommendation is Paitson and Son . Zach was professional, friendly and best of all no pressure. Gave us a reasonable competitive price quote. Then the rubber meets the road. The crew was respectful, professional and the work was great. Zach also followed up with any questions. I want to personally thank the work crew, office staff and subcontractors (gutter folks, dumpster, etc.) for the fast and professional work done replacing the roof on my home. Everyone was very polite, helpful and very neat. Cleanup work was excellent and every employee went out of their way to protect everything they could including my lawn, flowers, windows, deck, driveway, etc. while performing their work. Paitson & Son Home Improvement has done lots of work for me over the past six or seven years. I have several rentals in the Terre Haute area.They have installed several roofs for me and left the job site clean and free of nails and debree. They also have done general carpentry work for me too. I keep coming back to them because they do good quality work, are courteous and respectful, are straight forward and reasonable with their pricing and are very punctual. They consistently do what they say they are going to do and they do it well.

Great experience getting a roof done. They were able to do the job quickly and picked up most of the mess. Had one minor issue that they quickly came back and took care of. Very friendly courteous and nice to deal with. They will be on my list for future jobs that I may need.

Two projects at my mother's house in Terre Haute . The first was a full replacement of the roofs of the house and garage . The crews arrived on time as promised ; completed the work in 2 1/2 days and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed . EXCELLENT !The second project was to repair storm damage on the new house roof . This was not an emergency ; but the work was done quickly , thoroughly and at a very reasonable price . Again , EXCELLENT !My mother at the age of 92 worries about the upkeep of her house . With Paitson & Son she was worry free !

I had my house roofed in February 2016. I paid $11,000. It leaked every time it rained through July. Every time I called them they did come, except July 4th weekend when the rain came down in buckets, and I had to sit there with buckets and pans, keeping it bailed out, but they didn't seem to know what to do to stop the leak. Finally, after the holiday weekend, they came up with a solution. It did stop the leak, but you can see their solution from the ground. Since they said that they had no other ideas, I didn't know what to say. I wasn't ok with it, but I figured that I would spend the rest of my life here, so let someone else deal with it when I am gone. But I did have a couple of knowledgeable roofers take a look, and they said that the work was done wrong, and I did not get what I paid for. They also said that this short cutting of the roof is very common in this area, and the roofers who do this need to have their license pulled. But now, I need to sell my house because of zoning ordinance that is going to lower property values, and I have found out that their solution will not pass the inspector. I also discovered that the reason that it was leaking was not because my house was old, which is what they claimed. It is because they cut the material to short. They also took advantage of me by not doing the work around the chimney the right way. They short cutted to save money. Now either they really don't know how to roof a house, or they weren't about to tear it up and do it right, which is what is required to fix it. I am not going to pay for this repair. I let them know that what they had done was not acceptable now that I am selling the house. One of the owners called me at 7:30 at night, saying that he had no reason to answer my call, but that he was doing it out of concern for me. He kept me on the phone for over a half hour making excuses, and blaming me. The minute I hung up I realized that he had recorded the conversation. I called him back immediately and couldn't even get a connection. So I emailed him and asked him if he recorded our conversation. I said, "if you did, don't reply to the email. I did not get a reply. This area of the state is known for any type of home repairmen taking advantage of women, and this is no exception.
