In September of 2016 a hail storm damaged our roof. We researched a roofing contractor and found positive reviews for Gemini on Google, Aggie's List and the BBB. We reached out to Gemini to conduct a site visit. After they assessed the damage, Gemini offered to meet with our insurance agent at our home. Our insurance agent agreed with Gemini on the level of damage to our roof. At that point we contracted with Gemini to perform a full roof replacement. The work began in 2 short weeks. The roofers were professional, friendly and respectful. They completed the job in 1.5 days. Our new roof looks great! Over the past 2 years we have had some minor damage due to high winds. I contacted Gemini and they were out within 2 days to perform repairs at no charge. We also contracted with Gemini to remove a sheet metal flu pipe which was no longer in use after installing a high efficiency furnace. Thanks to James (Owner), Johnathan and others that have done work on our home. From a very happy customer, I highly recommend Gemini General Contracting!

We contacted Gemini after the big hail storm in 2021. Scott came out the next day to inspect the roof and siding with the quote for the work coming shortly after. Scott made some promises about siding replacement that didn't come to fruition but we were a bit skeptical of these claims in the first place so it wasn't too surprising. Scott also had a habit of not showing up to scheduled appointments and would only occasionally let us know he wasn't going to be there. He also took measurements to have the fence repainted but it appears this info never made it to the insurance company. We figured he was just incredibly busy with all the hail damage claims.After some back and forth, insurance agreed to the work and our roof was replaced almost immediately. Choosing shingles was a confusing process. We wanted impact resistant shingles but were told that Malarkey was the only vendor they used that had impact resistant shingles. Only after the roof was replaced was Owens Corning discussed as an impact resistant shingle. The roofers also ended up ripping off a piece of siding and a large piece of trim that took quite a long time to replace.We ended up getting completely ghosted by Scottfor a couple months only to find out that he'd been let go and Tony was going to be our contact for the remainder of the work. Tony immediately came out to discuss what work had been completed and what work remained, which we greatly appreciated. Tony was initially very responsive to our communications but later it seemed like he got bogged down with all the work that they ended up having to clean up.There was some confusion surrounding which contractors would be responsible for which aspects of the repair with their general handyman telling us the guys that were going to replace the chimney caps would also replace the rain caps for the furnace. When the chimney contractors showed up without any prior notification, and without a ladder tall enough to actually replace the chimney cap, they claimed that they would not be the ones to replace the rain caps. When they showed up unannounced the second time with a ladder tall enough, the contractor claimed there was only one small dent in the chimney cap and that it wasn't worth replacing and that he likely couldn't do as good of a job as the current one given how well they secured it to the chimney.All in all, the process took almost eight months... We're giving benefit of doubt in this case because maybe Gemini was incredibly overwhelmed with work and were short staffed. Hopefully in the future, this isn't an issue for them but we will not be using Gemini again.

We had an awesome experience with Gemini roofing! They came and offered us a free estimate. Our representative, Maury was super friendly and thorough. He completely explained all of the details and worked with us so that we had a minimal out of pocket fee after insurance. We would highly recommend this company. Maury has been completely professional throughout the process and our roof looks awesome too! They did it all and cleaned up everything one morning while we were at work. We are so grateful to have gotten it finished before the winter!

Used Gemini to fix up the walk way leading to our house before moving to Canada to try and up the value. Gemini did an incredible job on the project and the group of workers who completed the project were incredibly friendly, hard working and did a great job! Even when a problem would occur they would find a way to fix it and did an incredible job on our walk way. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area not only based on there tremendous work ethic but also on how Friendly there customer service is. Very respectful company!

I selected Gemini after a 3 bid process and they had the best price for the value and siding work requested. They did what was on the contract to 100% with good workmanship and materials, eventually. Unfortunately, I needed a little bit of extra work done and it was quoted and approved by Gemini and me. The workmen did not understand the changes and did not bring all the material and had to return multiple times just to address the section. Also, the workmen did not pick up all the nails, clippings out of the gutters and left cigarette butts in the driveway. Also, paint was spilled on my driveway in 2 places and remains for me to clean up. I would think twice about rehiring this company.

Have worked with Gemini twice now. In two separate occasions, hail and wind have damaged our roof. Gemini replaced it twice and the second time installed a metal roof and gutters. James and Maury are great to work with and their quality is top notch. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I called Gemini for a roof repair quote after a hail storm last week. They were very helpful on the phone and scheduled an inspection for the day after my call, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, they never showed up, despite them calling to confirm the appointment earlier in the day. I never heard from them again.Update:11 months later, Gemini was next door at our neighbor's house evaluating storm damage on their roof. When the contractors were leaving, they ran their truck through our front yard flower bed, causing some damage. No one came up to the house to let us know, but luckily we saw them on our doorbell camera. I tried calling the company to have someone come out and look at the damage, but haven't received a call back. Unfortunately, it seems that their contractors do not have good customer service!

I was unfamiliar with the insurance process. However, Colin handled everything with my insurance company for me and was very helpful explaining the whole process. We used Gemini to do some siding and gutter work on our new home build. Not only did they do great work, they were easy to work with through every stage of the process. We didn't really know what some of this stuff would cost, so we were probably frustrating to work with up front... but they happily provided us with 4 or 5 separate estimates that we chose various options from.Once we agreed on a scope of work and signed with them, they started within a reasonable time and kept us updated on delays (like material backorders). There were a couple times when we had some scheduling confusion, but in the end it all got done in what I felt was a reasonable time.Special thanks to Tony who stayed in touch throughout the process and met me at the house multiple times to discuss projects and status. He was professional and gave me his cell number and stayed in touch even outside of normal business hours.Service: Gutter installation

Although there have been some small issues, wrong color of chimney flashing and placement of material before the job; Gemini was quick to take care of any and all issues. I don't think you can expect any project to go perfectly. Its not the problems, but how they get taken care of. Gemini is responsive and professional. We will work on the next project together.

A Gemini General Contracting truck fully equipped with some ladders was weaving in and out of traffic at an excessive speed on I-465 Southbound on the East side at 7:00 PM on Friday 9/9/22. Nearly sideswiped a car while trying to go from far left lane to far left lane and back again. If their driving is anything like their services - dangerously in a hurry with no regard for others - I think I would pass on using this company.

Worst contracting experience of my life. I had a straight forward insurance job for a tree falling on my house. The job required siding, shingle replacement, bathroom tub fix, fence replacement, and all the pieces and parts that go along with these. They got the siding and roof done quickly and those turned out just fine. They looked new after complete. My issue is absolutely everything else involved in the job. If this were money out of my own pocket instead of insurance, this would have been a nightmare. They didn't fix the faucet that was broken outside of the house that was on the same wall as the siding replace even after I mentioned it several times. They told me they would get the bathroom taken care of after the outside of the house was done. After multiple attempts to work with them to schedule a date to get this started, they finally responded with a phone number for me to call to work directly with another company to fix my bathroom. So, this is when the work I was paying this contractor to do started shifting to my own plate. After working directly with this bathroom remodeling company, I found myself taking multiple trips to the hardware store to by all the supplies. Not a huge deal nor the fault of the bathroom company. While all of this is going on, Gemini had been telling me that fencing repair is about 4 to 6 weeks out so I trusted they scheduled me for an appointment to get this done, even with my constant asking them when they would be out to do it and never getting a response. When it got close to that time, I couldn't get ahold of my contact at gemini to save my life. I started contacting fencing companies myself because apparently the company I hired to do this was incapable. Then, I started getting contacted by Gemini to collect the rest of what was owed for the roof/siding work. I was happy to start that process, but the fence was still broken. They said that I was just going to have to handle that myself and I could deduct what they quoted for the fence off of the final payment. This has the be the worst business practice I have seen in years of dealing with contractors. So, as of today 8/23/19, the bathroom people are coming out to finish up the last trim work needed for the bathroom. Side note is that the bathroom remodeling company has been great to work with. They even discounted my total price because they said the same of us and or willingness to work around their busy schedule. Anyway, my first interaction with Gemini was in February. So, if you want some work done to your house and for it to maybe, who knows, be completed within 6 months or so, give them a call. If anyone wants any kind of detailed personal experience references about how this company operations, feel free to contact me through google. I can share text message threads and emails of how we tried to contact them without any response. We typically used this method on communication because I never once got an answer when I tried to call. I can't wait to pay them the final amount so I never have to deal with them again.Edit after Gemini's response. As I stated in my review, I have no issues paying for the work done. I in fact have tried to tell Tony multiple times that I am ready to pay what is left. I am upset with how everything was handled. If you "don't do" fences or disagree with how the bathroom was fixed, then that needed to be stated instead of, "ya we can do that no problem". So putting that part on me saying I didn't want to do the exact same repairs and you saying that isn't your forte is an blatant lie. You referred one bath company which took almost two weeks to get a phone number for from you. They have been great to work with. As for the fence, i was told it was being taken care of and then told six weeks later from someone else after zero response from requesting an update that nothing was scheduled at all. Again, the work you did with the siding and roof was great. My complaint is more with either your sales team and how the whole process was handled than it is with the quality of work preformed.

This is an update of my previous positive review. While the roofing work was fine and gutters etc. The business Manager has been very annoying. They kept asking for the depreciation payment which was late because their paperwork the insurance company received was not complete. Deductible etc was paid by me immediately upon receiving the bill . I paid the depreciation payment as soon as I received it. Now today I get an invoice suggesting I had not paid all of my deductible! When in fact it appears they forgot to include something to the insurance. Not my fault and an unscrupulous approach to doing things! I will not use Gemini again because of the customer service.

Please please please do not use this business by any means. I had called them to do an inspection for a gutter replacement, and they mentioned they would have to get on the roof to take a look. I instructed him not to, but he said he had to, for some reason. I found this odd. While I was in my house, I heard a few loud sounds. They mentioned to me that there could be a leak in my roof. I told them there was never any leakage. A few days later, it rains, and what do you know, it leaks! A problem I have NEVER had. The guy probably used a hammer to break the roof to get some more service. Now, it's costing me $500 to fix. If I had cameras installed, I would sue this company until the owner has nothing left but socks, but, unfortunately that is not the case. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Save yourself the trouble. Plenty of other great companies in Carmel.

Called Gemini on Feb. 26 to see if someone could inspect my roof and my siding. Low and behold 15 minutes later an inspector was knocking on the door. Maury did his thing he covered the spots with a tarp and said he will take care of everything, he went back to the office and submitted the estimate to the insurance company. They called and sent their inspector out and Maury was right there with the inspector on my roof. My insurance company wasn't willing to fix the whole roof. I don't know how he did it but Maury said otherwise.Within 3 week's I had a whole new roof and my sidings was fixed. Kris Lee was the contractor that came out to access my roof damage on my home. He was on time when he came out, he was very courteous, and explained everything to me. My insurance company didn't want to replace my whole roof and they wanted to cut me a tiny check and told me they would only repair 1/4 of my roof. Kris had my insurance company to come back out to access the damage again and it turned out that the insurance company was wrong so they had to replace my whole roof on my home and my garage.
