We had a great experience working with Dyksen and Sons. They communicated well and were willing to work with our visions of our remodeling projects. Even with running into “issues” of having an older home, they always came up with creative solutions. Everyone that came into our home was skilled at their job and we are loving our updates! Your view of the world around you affects how you see the world. When you have a great view through a great window, you can have a great day! Recently, Dyksen & Sons updated some of our windows, and they are fabulous. My wife particularly enjoys being able to easily open her kitchen window and enjoy the fresh air. She was unable to open the window without getting a stepstool out prior to this. Loving our new #provia windows and the fantastic views.

Dyksen & Sons did a wonderful job. We have a 100 year old house & knew there would be challenges with remodeling both of our bathrooms. They did a great job of taking into consideration of all things that may pop up. When things did happen they called immediately, explained the issue & gave us solutions to pick from. The guys were very kind & professional & the craftsmanship was terrific. The only negative (for lack of better word) was we felt the post construction should have been cleaned up better. All & all very minor issue with how pleased we were with the end project.Service: Bathroom remodeling

Bruce, Michael, and the rest of the team were very good about communicating with us throughout the process of our renovation project. We had a list of ideas and they helped us to explore those options before and even during the renovation itself. Our home has been full of surprises and the few we did come across they were quick to remedy. We knew their schedule ahead of time and were able to keep to it faithfully.Some of the work (e.g., painting) we wished to complete on our own time they were open to having us do this. Pricing was fair compared to other businesses I got estimates from early on in the process. Ours was a different kind of remodeling and we weren’t sure what to expect on the project. Dyksen and Sons saw our vision and was willing to participate in our adventure. The center of our home is an 1837 log cabin and our hope was to expose and restore the logs in our living room. We didn’t know what we would find behind the plaster, but were pleased to find logs in good condition that were able to become our homes unique focal point. We also decided to take down the wall between our kitchen and dining room creating a bigger project than we had originally scheduled. The Dyksen team was flexible in this change and worked with us to create the perfect blend of old historic farmhouse with new function and design. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We lived in our home while this remodeling took place and were so pleased with their efforts to clean every evening, leaving our home in the best condition they could. Each completed phase was like a new gift There were hiccups along the way and the timeline stretched a little longer than we had hoped (due to back ordered stove) but it was worth the wait to achieve exactly what we’d hoped for!Services: Paint indoors, Refurbishment, Painting, Remodeling, Drywall installation, Drywall repair

Dyksen and Sons replaced our exterior door with a wider door and re-roofed our shed. They did excellent work on both projects. A couple of years ago they did extensive repair work on our roof above our laundry room which was leaking badly. We have not had any leaks since they repaired it.
