I hired this company as a gift to my elderly parents to remove snow from my parents home in North Liberty . I had to contact the company every time it’s because they never showed up on their own. The contract clearly said anything over 1 inch and they would remove the snow from the sidewalks, the driveway and the porch. My elderly mother had to go out and shovel when they didn’t show up. When they did show up 2 times it was because I contacted them. The staff had to be directed to shovel the sidewalks as they were just going to shovel the drive.The contract clearly stated that Glass Roots would remove all snow over one inch. After a number of phone calls and emails asking them to remove the snow, I asked for a refund. They refused. They then stated that they charged $125 for every time , they came out which was twice,which they now claimed now meant they owed me no money even though the service we paid for was for the entire season with a one time payment. They are now going to charge my mother for what they are now claiming was for 3 visits. DO NOT do business with this company. I should have read the Google ratings to see that they had a 2.1 rating. They’re plenty of other businesses that will do the work as agreed upon.

If negative stars was an option it would be negative 5! Eric the company owner was contacted about and incident in which money was owed back as services were cheaper than what was paid. He then went unresponsive for a week and finally reached out via text and phone call threatening the home, customer and occupants of home because of a less than favorable review that was left in regards to the actual work that was done and the process. Eric is malicious, untrustworthy, dangerous and very unprofessional.

Glass roots an company owners are great friendly an very respectful an great at the work they do 🙂 they have really good prices an come out give an estimate an great the work done fast an great eric help me understand exactly what needed to be done and when it was going to get done and they were done early and even didn't extra work that didn't I should have paid extra $300 worth he told me it was free of charge and the young lady I talked to on the phone Ashton she was really great and had Eric call me right away and get an inspection on everything I needed to get done thank you Eric and Ashton you guys be hearing from me very soon for some summer projects that I would love for your company to come out an get done this spring ☺️🌱

After grasshoppers chewed through all of my basement screens, I reached out to Glass Roots to have them rescreened with aluminum mesh instead of the plastic stuff. I had my sliding door screen done at the same time, since it had a tear in it, and between you and me, my husband isn't nearly as good at rescreening windows as he thinks he is, lol. Glass Roots picked up the items from my house at Tuesday evening and they were finished and dropped off at my house the next morning! The screens look amazing, and I can't wait for the hungry grasshoppers to discover I've wised up to their ways.Service: Window screen repair

I called yesterday & Eric came today to re-screen the sliding screen door on my patio doors. He is such a pleasant young man & did an excellent job. The new screening is perfect & the door glides better than it ever has. I highly recommend. Thank you . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

replaced single window and now window collects alot condensation and seal not tight. left a message, and no call was returned.
