I highly recommend Mako Restoration. A pipe froze and flooded my home and the guys from Mako were to help. They explained the process and what they would do and when they would do it. There was no bait and switch and no run around waiting for them to come and do it. The technicians were clean, tidy, respectful and polite. I was extremely comfortable with them in home. They were all very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Most importantly for me, they understood what would likely be covered or not covered by insurance. They provided a detailed report including photos and moisture readings and there invoice was paid by my carrier without any question.

I cannot say enough great things about this company! I originally hired Mako to remediate mold in a half bath. Keith, Chris, and their team were quick to identify the source and treat the mold. I was very impressed that they took so many precautions to protect the rest of my home and clean it up when finished. Just recently, I ran into mold while renovating another bathroom and called Mako in a pinch. Keith went above and beyond to help me take care of this issue. We had some water damage from a busted water heater. We immediately contacted our insurance company who in turn contacted Makos. Chris and Keith came out immediately. They checked out the damage and began working immediately. They explained the process and did everything they said they would do. They treated my home as if it was theirs. They made sure that everything was completely dry before moving any equipment out. If I had to go through this I’m glad that they were the ones I went through it with. I called Mako in a panic when I discovered I had a water leak. Chris with Mako came in less than an hour to my house on a Friday night. He was very nice, explained everything about the restoration process. His crew came in removed, cleaned damage from water leak. They came in with dehumidifiers after to dry everything that was wet. During Hurricane Laura I received water damage to my home. I contacted my insurance and it was discovered that water leaked through my roof vent and dripped down upon the drywall ceiling beneath. After my adjuster left I thought it was a closed case and I would just need to have the drywall cut out. I met Gabe with MAKO Restoration while they were working at a neighbors house. We started talking about my damage and how I thought it was minor. He offered to check my house out just to be on the safe side and I went in my attic with him. He brought a moisture meter and found that under my insulation my ceiling was still wet and showed me the mold growth that had began to spread in my ceiling. My insurance adjuster never mentioned anything about it and was quick to settle my claim. Gabe with MAKO brought out his equipment right after discovering the mold growth and in three days had my ceiling dry and safe from spreading throughout my home. He saved me from a serious potential issue I had no idea about that could have impacted my family's health and became a financial headache. Gabe and his guys were always professional entering and exiting my home, on time, and made it effortless on my part to do business with them. I highly recommend this company to anyone. Mako Restoration! You guys need to call them if you receive water damage. We did, spoke to Gabe and told him that we had just discovered damage to our ceiling in one of our bathrooms. He asks that we send him pictures, in just a few minutes we had a call back from Gabe reassuring us that this was minimal and that a crew would be out to our home on Monday. 8 o clock Monday morning Mako Restorations very professional crew was home taking care of our problem. I'll tell you what. After realizing my water heater busted in my home, i quickly shifted into a panic trying to remove what water i could as quick possible. We learned of MAKO Restoration shortly after Hurricane Laura. The insurance company was not working for us but MAKO was! Gabe helped navigate insurance and also offered professional opinion and suggestions on how to deal with the insurance company using the correct lingo. MAKO is likely the reason our home is not mold infested. Pictures of readings and equipment readings were used as documentation for the insurance company.
