Mathis Construction & Roofing recently completed a new roof as well as facia and soffit repairs for my nephew in Haughton, La. Chance was the sales rep and he impressed us from day 1 with his prompt and accommodating quote process. They gave us several options to consider and educated us while we made the decision on which plan of action to take. This roof was an original almost 30-year old roof. Chance and David are my new favorite vendor friends! They were always available (sorry about the late nights and weekends) and precisely scheduled and planned the process on relatively short notice. The materials and workers arrived when promised and I found the laborers friendly and eager to please. They finished the entire roof in 1 day and left the property cleaner than when they arrived. In fact, one of the workers even took a video for me of the roof deck once the shingles had been removed. As expected, we had to replace some roof sheathing. I was pleasantly surprised that I was not oversold or asked for a change order, which can be the case with other contractors. The damaged facia and soffits were replaced and we are happy customers. Top quality work, excellent communication skills, true to their word, honest price, accommodating and awesome to work with! Thank you Chance and David for handling such an important job! My nephew loves his new roof and I couldn’t be more pleased!

I am beyond pleased with Mathis. I explained our situation and they met us each and every step of the way. I asked for a detailed estimate on paper and they had it ready within two days. They also offered to help look over the paperwork and took over dealing with insurance for us.Our house is 2500 Sq feet and they had the roof replaced on both our house and garage in two days.The crew worked hard and Daniel along with Chance were both very supportive and understanding. Mathis Construction and Roofing company goes above and beyond what would be expected. My elderly father in law recently had a roof leak and thought he probably needed an entire new roof. Since his son and I live on the West Coast, we were unable to look into the problem ourselves, but it needed immediate attention. I was referred to Mathis Construction and Roofing Company for help. They sent someone there the following morning who assessed the situation and had the roof expertly repaired the following day for a more than fair price. My father in law was so happy that the leak was taken care of quickly and that replacing the entire roof wouldn’t be necessary. He found the Mathis’ workers punctual, courteous and professional. I called the day the rain was ending after this last storm system rolled through with heavy rain. My roof had developed 2 leaks. I called to get on the list to have someone look at the leaks. Mathis group handled my claim with the insurance company. These men were courteous, respectful, and very professional. I am very satisfied with the quality and work of replacing my roof. However, I was not happy with the damage to my azaleas and the amount of nails and tacks that I personally had to clean up.

According to the insurance adjustor, my old roof was16 years old. When the old shingles were removed, there were 7 places where the baseboards had to be replaced. Who would have known about rotting (but not yet rotten) baseboards if old shingles were not removed? For this, I am glad that I had the roof replaced even though my insurance policy only covered part of the total cost.Chance Carlton is a very professional and responsive person who I can trust. He gave me a reasonable quote that turned out to be a very good value because I am satisfied with the quality of the roof. The whole transaction was handled professionally, from beginning to the end. I am also glad that he only billed me after the inspection of the roof to my satisfaction. I saw one dent in the shingle and he replaced it the other day. Overall, I highly recommend this company.

If you suspect hail damage on your roof, call Mathis! They came out (super quick) and confirmed that we had hail damage on our roof from almost a year ago. We were immediately put on the books and they handled everything with our insurance company. The process was seamless - Chance was always one step ahead and their crew did an amazing job.
