I have worked with Portland Glass a couple of times. The first time they did a shower door installation and yesterday they took off/reinstalled a huge master bathroom mirror that was sliding off the wall.Both times the workmanship and customer service was GREAT!I highly recommend them!

I was very impressed with Portland glass in Biddeford! Everyone was very helpful from the woman working with my insurance to schedule the appointment, the technician, and finally to Jake the store manager. I will use Portland Glass in Biddeford for any future glass needs.

Jake was very helpful. When he came to give me an estimate on a broken bedroom window, he took additional time to look at another window issue in my porch. Bob also did a great job replacing my window. He was friendly, worked quickly, and the repair was top quality. I was very satisfied with my Portland Glass experience.

Bernie came out to do an estimate for replacing one wooden entry door with a glass door and adding glass panels to two other wood doors. They were very responsive and communicative throughout the process. They did an excellent job! The look of the doors was exactly as promised and so was the price. Highly recommend!

I had to have my windshield replaced. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly and professional. They started the claim for me through my insurance and I had an appointment for the following week. The day of the appointment my car was taken immediately. Their waiting area has comfortable chairs, water, and free wifi. In less than 2 hours my car was ready. Again, everyone was extremely friendly and the aftercare instructions were gone over with me. I HIGHLY recommend Portland Glass in Biddeford!

Portland Glass installed a shower door for us recently! It looks beautiful, and we really love having a door rather than a curtain.We had an issue with the door leaking a bit and they came right out to fix it! Nicest people ever. They assured us that if the fix they tried that day didn’t work, they could have a different piece made that would correct the problem.Kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. They stand by their products. I would definitely recommend.

I set up an appointment to get my windshield replaced.. I brought my mask because of Covid-19 and they wouldn't let me sit inside.. it's a two-hour process so I had to sit on the concrete sidewalk outside.. the install itself was fine I just was not pleased with the handling of the situation..Jeff replaced my windshield. Excellent work. Just frustrated having to sit outside

Surprised to see so many positive reviews here. In short - don't give them your money and if you do, ensure you take pictures of your property beforehand.Made a 9:30AM appointment and was told it would take 2-3 hours when I called to make it. I dropped my car off and left, as like most people, I needed to return to work and don't have 2-3 hours to spend sitting in a waiting room. Showed up at 11AM and the work hadn't even started and was told it was because I left. Never asked if it was OK to wait, never asked if I had other obligations, never asked if I was given a time when I should expect it to be ready. Apparently they assumed my time was not valuable because I wasn't interested in sitting idly for 2-3 hours. Go figure - the logic seems a little backwards. Have the customer schedule an appointment so they show up at a specific time but then start the work at your leisure. Another interesting business concept.Was called at 12PM and informed the car was ready (wow, that was quick). I should have known better - see the photos and note the dirt and ice on the front bumper. They parked my car into a snow bank and it appears to have been cosmetically damaged.Their parking lot was filled with snow and parking was limited, I get it. However, I saw at least one male employee shooting the breeze in the office. Here's a suggestion - grab a shovel and clear your businesses parking if you risk damaging customer's property. It's not a particularly difficult concept that requires intelligence, a large amount of strength, or time. It just requires you to care about property that you don't own and owned by a person helping to keep your business functional; you know, care about the customer's property. What a concept.The irony - had this person cared even enough to just back it out an inch or so, I probably wouldn't have even noticed. Nope, no s***s given and no shame.The roof panel also appears to have been damaged, presumably from sort of tool used to install/remove the windshield. Unreal. Didn't bother speaking with them as the lack of communication regarding when the car would actually be serviced and the absurd parking job already proved pretty severe incompetence. Would consider small claims court to resolve but it's honestly not worth the time or money. I choose to vote with my dollar and this is the first and last of mine they receive.To be proactive to any forthcoming and canned 'we can make it right' or ' we apologize for your experience' response - are you going to pay the $3-$5K it would cost to professionally repaint the entire car so the paint matches? Call me crazy but I think I'd be waiting for that check for a long time.1 star for actually replacing the windshield within 24 hours but given this experience, unsure of how long it will last. To other folks thinking about getting a windshield replaced at the Biddeford, ME location - you've been warned beforehand if you care about your car!

Their response to coming out and measuring and getting back to us with estimate of cost was quick. The person doing the installation did an excellent job. Anyone who came wore masks which was important us. The shower doors fit well and look fabulous. Not surprised as Portland Glasd is who we go to and who we trust.

Portland glass has measured odd pieces of furniture and or have taken measurements by phone for tempered glass to place on furniture. super easy to deal with. prices appropriate. only con - staff not wearing masks in their office though they did have the big plastic guards by their desks but wish they did. product good. service good.

I've only ever used Portland Glass' services when I've had to have my windshield replaced. It has been set up through my car insurance company when I have needed their services so I can't speak to what it's like to set anything up directly with them from the start; however, my experience with them once the insurance company started the process was excellent! Their employees are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They are right on top of things and got my windshield repaired or replaced in a very timely manner with zero issues after the fact. Their work is solid and quality. They provided me with all paperwork/invoices/receipts/etc for what they had done for work right when the work was done by leaving the papers on the seat of my car. The were great about working with my insurance company so I didn't have to deal with any annoying paperwork myself.Portland Glass is the only Auto Glass repair place in this area that I'll use or trust with my vehicle's glass repair or replacement needs.I did call once for a quote on replacing a rear windshield of a friend's pickup truck because he wanted a different rear window. The employee I spoke with was excellent! She was very courteous and professional. She took some extra time to do some research for me to find out if what I was asking about was a possibility or not in an attempt to find a way to make sure the customer was able to get what they were hoping for. She had to call me back with the information and she called me right back just as she had said she would. She was able to provide all costs and information at that time.I can't remember now if Portland Glass was able to do the replacement my friend was looking for or not though. He ended up deciding to just stick with the window he had. But the service I recieved from Portland Glass was exceptional!
