Precision Roofing did an awesome job on my roof replacement! Very professional. They assisted in product choices and colors, suggested a new solar skylight to replace my 30 year old one and accommodated date of service to work around my schedule. Tyler was site supervisor who answered all of my concerns. The job was done in a day including cleanup and removal of old roof taken away. Stacey the office manager kept me informed of all details and was available from start to finish. The job was done with quality workmanship. In 2017 buying my first home I quickly found myself in a jam needing my roof to be replaced to get insurance coverage. Having to pay for the down-payment and other costs associated with buying a home money was a concern. After many phone calls and a dozen estimates I decided to go with Precision Roofing out of Shapleigh Maine. The business owner Joe Pierce personally gave me the estimate, made the available options easy to understand, measured the least square footage and had the best price compared the other roofing companies. The date for the work was spot on. By the time I arrived home from work the scheduled day the roof was completely replaced and there were no signs of anyone ever being there. Five years later and I have had zero leaks and never lost any roofing material during the wind storms we have had. Our rubber roof was installed by another roofing company in the late 80's. That company is long since out of business. Since then we have had occasion to have repair done. As you might guess, in some ways rubber roofs can be fragile. Once during a heavy windstorm 50' of a pine tree snapped off and blew onto our roof, puncturing it with more than 100 holes. Precision Roofing was called and Joe Pierce was there the next morning. He worked together with a framing crew to get us sealed back up and weather tight in record time.. We couldn't have asked for a better response and a fairer price. Another time our chimney leak caused excessive damage and again Joe and his crew worked seamlessly with a framing crew and quickly replaced the roofing. Joe has a well trained crew who is an extension of him and his values. They are courteous, efficient, and eager to complete the work on time. We couldn't ask for more. Plus the property is always left spotless...difficult to tell they were here. We have a skylight issue that needs addressing (not a Precision roofing issue.) and Joe will be taking care of that. I have every confidence that the problem will be resolved permanently. Precision Roofing is our "go to" roofing Company with no regrets. We just had the best experience with Precision Roofing. I own my own business, and have expectations of myself around professionalism and efficiency, and too many times those expectations aren't shared by other professionals. They quoted us last fall and got us on the schedule, contacted us a week ago and dropped off the materials and showed up early today with what seemed like 100 guys. It was pandemonium for a while, but they removed my old roof (which is over 30 feet tall) and installed the new roof and were out of here before 4:00. they also left the yard spotless like they were never here. Joe Pierce's crew at Precision Roofing did an outstanding job replacing our roof. Stacey, his admin. asst. was one of the first people we spoke to when we were looking for estimates. She was kind, professional, helpful and a contributing factor for us going with Precision Roofing. Joe, Ben and their crew worked all day in 95 degree temps. to complete our roof in one day. She's one of those people who are very energetic and kind, as well as very attentive to any and all of your questions and concerns.**additional comments to address owner's response:Correct, you didn't actually perform work for me unfortunately. Instead you quoted me $2,000 to replace chimney flashing and two metal roof panels. When I kindly asked for a breakdown of labor and materials (because your quote didn't differentiate anything) you told me the high price was due to the inflation of price regarding materials. You stated this was a 1000 dollar job 2 years ago, but now its $2000. I kindly replied showing the cost of materials were less than $200 and asked for help as I was in need. You then ignored me with no intent of replying.Businesses like you who hide behind "inflation" as a means to line your pockets is heartbreaking. I asked for help with a job that would take no more than 4 hours. I'm a single dad to two young children and work a full time salaried job. But when i asked you for help, you chose to try and charge me $450 an hour (4 hour job equals 1800) to install $200 of material equating to $2000. I hope those that read this decide to seek other companies as this company is dishonest with their pricing.New comment on 8-23. I just had another roofer vome out to give me a quote. He's charging me $450 and offered to come out right away because of how badly it must be leaking. Ive never once worked with this mans company, and he's putting me in front of existing customers.Morale of the story, get other quotes before using precision roofing. I have used precision roofing three separate times, they show up when you expect them! They do the job you asked them to do and if they they find hidden damage they provided pictures to justify the added costs and fees if you chose to the correctly to fix the situation! That being said I never felt like they were trying to upsell Or make more money on me!! The guys on site were respectful, courteous, and most importantly cleaned up after the job! I wish more companies worked the way that Joe Pierce had trained his guys to treat the customers. Truly a professional and organized company!! We hired Precision Roofing to install the new roof on our 2500 sqft addition and reroof our 2000sqft existing house. We chose Precision after contacting about 20 area roofing contractors as they were the most professional and responsive. The owner came out to evaluate the project and walked through each detail with my wife and I. The communication was excellent. They arrived when they said they would and finished when they said they would. The crew kept the work site clean and I haven’t found a single nail on the ground. Our roof looks fantastic too! Our house is a timberframe gambrel joined to a gabled addition by a shallow pitch breezeway which creates some challenging intersections to roof. Precision handled it no problem and really did a great job. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was installed perfectly. We had tons of ice this winter and no issues at all.Of all the trades we hired for our project Precision Roofing was far and away the best. Where to begin - the work crew was two hours late and made up the time by working in the dark. None of crew spoke english so I was not able to get answers to any of my questions.
