In August 2019 we had a TREC representative come out and provide us with a quote for: a large deck; patio made with pavers; a paved driveway extension with steps leading down to the backyard; sliding doors changed to French doors; and a fence. The project was estimated to be fully completed by Thanksgiving; however, there were weather constraints and the company had many projects going at the same time. We understood the time and weather hurdles, but had not thought about those before going forward with the project, so it’s just something to keep in mind for large-scale projects. We fully finished the project early April 2020 and overall we are very happy with the result! It’s the perfect time to enjoy being outdoors and we get many compliments from neighbors. We rated the overall project a 4/5 only because with a project this big there were a few minor issues along the way- for example, one of the deck posts was installed slightly too close to our home so the cap is different than the others but it’s not in a visible position so it’s not noticeable unless you examine each one.Another minor issue was a slight change to the location of structural beams on the patio which changed the size and location of the deck steps. This caused a delay in finishing the deck since the steps had to be redone. This seemed to be just a slight miscommunication between the employees working on the deck and the company blueprint. However, it was an issue that was addressed quickly.We would, though, highly recommend TREC because of the owner’s, Justin’s, professionalism and commitment time ensuring customer satisfaction. We were deeply impressed with the way he handled each of our concerns. It was comforting to know that behind all of this there is an owner who stands behind the quality of the work and responds with great professionalism. Justin addressed our issues very quickly, including the deck post and deck steps, and was very responsive. He provided us with explanations and recommendations for changes in the project as well which we appreciated since this was the first big project we’ve done in our home. We have shared a before and after of our home project for reference!

Justin was our sales representative and point of contact throughout this project. He was super helpful with his input on design and what looks good and doesn't based on his experience. There wasn't a time where any of our questions were unanswered and we felt confident moving forward with TREC.When we were waiting for the permit to be finished, Kelly gave us a weekly call to update us on where we were in the process. She was very customer friendly and available any time we had questions!Once we received the materials at our property, Walter and the crew were super professional and you could tell they had a lot of experience in what they were doing. Justin also frequently visited during thebbuilding process as well. They made sure they stayed within the deadline of having the project completed.We absolutely love our patio! My family and I were so satisfied with their services that after a few months later, we contacted them again to add a stone patio to accompany the porch. We asked Trec Roofing and Remodeling to remove our old deck and adjacent pavers with a new and more modern deck and pavers. They did an outstanding job! They provided weekly updates (Kelly and Tiffany) on when the job would begin, they completed the project in the estimated time frame, and the deck and pavers look amazing. Their work crew members were friendly, detailed, and kept the job site safe and organized. Furthermore, they provided sod to areas that were heavily walked on during their work. Excellent company! I gave this company 5 stars for building my deck because they really really deserve it. After five quotes from different companies TREC had proven to be the most reliable as well as educating me on the process and materials that were necessary to select and build my deck. Andrew The sales person, was very knowledgeable in regards to assisting me with designing the deck while keeping me within my budget. From Taffy in the office as well as the crew always kept me informed along the way. I could not believe that my deck was finished in less than a week. I must say that this company is very reputable with quality workmanship and they pay great attention to detail. Rob and the crew were very friendly, respectful, punctual, fast and efficient. I am happy with the results. If you want professionalism, reliability, punctuality, quality as well as a company valuing their customers you will not be disappointed in TREC. I signed a contract for a new deck and fence in May/22 with the promise of completion no later than July 4, 2022. I received almost weekly updates informing that my project was “next”. Next did not come until January 2023. My deck is beautiful; however, there was and is still issues with my fence. I released payment foolishly thinking that this seemingly small issue would be quickly resolved. It has now been more than a month. I sent this email to them today.“On February 4th, I notified that the caps were missing from my gate. I informed the lender of my satisfaction expecting great customer service and that this issue would be satisfied and in a decent timeframe. To date there has been no action taken and my texts are now going unanswered. There is also issues with the lock. If I knew the follow up would be this way, I never would have approved the lender to remit payment without having these issues fixed. I’m providing text correspondences that show the lack of communication and genuine concern with resolving what was a minor issue. I have been getting the run around and now nothing for more than a month”.Service: Deck construction

Working with The Real Estate Corner was by far the best experience we have ever had! Justin was amazing and very professional. He came out to our house and surveyed the area and immediately got to work on helping us create our dream layout for our patio area. I needed a roof...Justin was at my house in less than 24 hours after my request. He was very professional. He explained every detail and confirmed that the damage may be covered by insurance. Justin came to my home again to meet the adjuster....he worked with me every step of the way to ensure an accurate and smooth transaction with my insurance company. My roof(including 2 sheds and a patio)was installed in one day....the installers, including the job foreman, were professional and did a perfect job, to include magnet raking the yard to ensure thorough clean up. Justin arrived to inspect the work....he is the President and CEO...not the job foreman. That is service! If you need a roof, or any remodeling,call TREC, the quality of work and service is exceptional. I will use them again. Thank you Justin and the TREC team.

I am in Law Enforcement and I sometimes have a hard time trusting different companies with big projects for my home. While doing some home projects I noticed I may have some issues with my roof. I did my research and found this company. I dealt with the owner Justin who came out the next day and did a full inspection of my roof. He walked me through the ENTIRE process of filing a claim with my insurance company since my roof had wind damage.Within a week my roof was being completed. On the day of install it was discovered that I mad major wood rot and damage from the poor quality of the work done when The roof was replaced before I moved in. This became very stressful, however, Justin explained everything and eased my concerns. The roof was completed with all the major repairs and It looks incredible.Another major reason I went with this company is because they support veterans and first responders.Great company, great owner, honest and amazing work.I would 1000% recommend this company to anyone looking to have a roof replaced or inspected.

My wife and I ordered 2 windows for the kitchen and a french door that separates the house from the three season's room. Because of a misunderstand between the sales person and us the items delivered did not meet our expectations.After one call to the main office, the owner showed up at our door that very same day and told us he will fix the issue.He is one of those owners who care about the customer satisfaction. A pleasure to be around and he made every effort to make sure we were satisfied with the product. It is refreshing to experience that level of customer service as that is not always the case.As for the installers, they took great care, making sure they kept everything clean as they worked. They provided sound advise when needed.We have a bathroom remolding job and will be working with TREC Roofing & Remodeling again.

Justine stopped by my home after a recent windstorm and indicated I had a large amount of missing shingles from my roof and that he could help me get a new roof through my insurance company. I filed a claim and Justine worked with my insurance company and the adjusters and just like that, I got a brand new roof and only had to pay my deductible! Justine explained every step of the process in great detail and answered all my questions. He and his staff were very professional and courteous.They did an amazing job and my roof looks great!!!

See picturesUpdate as of June 20th 2021 I decided to to pay another contractor $1000 to replace the bad pieces of siding. After several rude text messages, which I still have and can post if someone wants to read them, I decided I will never use TREC again for any new work or to repair their own. The new contractor stated some of the the nails that TREC put in the house were not nailed to the studs. They were just nailed anywhere. I still stand behind my one star review.

Justin and The Real Estate Corner did an amazing job! My townhome/condo association was having a lot of roofing difficulties over the years. We could never figure out why the roof was leaking all the time and we had spent a lot of money without seeing any progress. Justin came over for the inspection and immediately saw some minor alterations that would make a big difference. Little things like the gutter was at the wrong angle. Instead of flowing down, water was getting piled up and leaking through into the upstairs unit. Not only did he know all the best roofing solutions but they went above and beyond to make it look more attractive and pleasing to the eye. They provided extra care and service that we never asked for but was just done as a matter of course.Justin’s communication was also above and beyond. He made himself available to answer questions during our 7-8pm condo association meeting to make sure everyone knew what the process would be and felt secure in moving forward.I cannot recommend Justin and The Real Estate Corner enough. We had been given the runaround on our roof and Justin was able to come in with honesty and expertise to not only get the job done but to go above and beyond what was originally in the scope of work.Thank you!... Nothing but great things about TREC and that's because of the owner Justin. He really takes care of his customers and is always respectful, responsive and professional.We needed new windows and patio doors with specific elements to meet HOA requirements - after making contact with TREC, the owner Justin managed my account personally. He researched and gave me multiple quotes from various manufacturers. Once we found the product, he was so patient for HOA approval. He also decided to offer a community wide discount! After approval he immediately sent out a technician to measure and make the order.This is where things get wonky but not from TREC. The manufacturer made a few large errors so Justin made sure they fixed their errors as he promised a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, the longest part of the process is waiting for the manufacturer to create and ship the product which can take a minimum 6 weeks. Upon arrival he contacted me to install as soon as I was available and even offered weekends as an option to get them in asap. The finished product looks so nice and I'm very pleased!If it weren't for Justin and his customer service this review would be extremely different. He truly cares that you're happy with the end results.I believe in supporting local businesses and love the idea of TREC being a one stop shop for any home renovations and remodeling. I highly recommend this company!

I recently received my new roof from Trec and the entire team at Trec was fantastic. From the initial consultation/estimate through install I knew I had Justin and his team working for me. Where do I begin…Justin is as authentic as it gets. His patience as I asked my questions, his knowledge and expertise with his answers were spot on. Taffy at the front office was incredible with coordination. The day of install was a thing of beauty. First, the team showed up right on time and all members had Trec branded shirts on. I’m not sure why that mattered to me but it spoke directly to how well organized and how professional this entire company is. Second, the care that the team took in preparing the property ahead of install was outstanding. They laid tarps over everything and most importantly, the care with which they removed my American Flag attached to my house spoke volumes. The install was all business, truly efficient and effective from start to finish. My property was left spotless and my American Flag was returned with same amount of care with which it was taken down. I’m kind of sad that I won’t need another roof for 50 years because I would like to give Justin and his team my business again. If you are in the market for a roof, I know the Team at Trec will not do you wrong.

A TREC company rep was going door-to-door following up with homes located near where a neighbor had just had his roof replaced. We had wind damage from some severe thunderstorms in early spring of this year. He said that he noticed some damage and missing shingles. I gave permission for a free inspection. The TREC sales rep, Justin, came to our home after calling us to schedule an appointment. He inspected the roof and marked out areas of concern. He told us since this was storm related damage, our homeowners insurance should be contacted to file a claim. He said that once this was done he would be at our home the day the insurance adjuster was to inspect our roof. Justin then spent about 30 minutes explaining what our options would be when replacing our roof. My wife and I learned about the differing grades of roofing shingles, underlay, ice dam protective underlay and roof vent ridge (which is mandated by code in our state). We contacted 2 other roofing companies and set up appointments. Neither interview was as complete as Justin's. He did not pressure us to commit and advised that if we found another company to re-roof our house it was our call. Up to that time we had not signed any form of contract or request for payment with Justin. The only paperwork he asked us to sign was a work contingency that requested we would call him the day the claims adjuster was scheduled. The form stated that if the insurance adjuster denied our claim we did not have to have any roof repair done with TREC, but if the claim was approved then TREC would do the work for us. The day that the claims adjuster pulled up to our house Justin had been waiting for him for about 30 minutes. After the inspection the adjuster wrote out his findings that there was enough damage to the roof that it would need to be replaced. A few days later the first payment of the claim arrived as was deposited. We called Justin and set up to proceed. He stopped by our home, we signed the work order and paid out a reasonable deposit. He then explained that 24 hours prior to his work crew arriving to our house we would be contacted by work manager from TREC. Once we got the call from the manager the crew and materials were at our house by 7 AM. By noon the roof was stripped, the crew advised me that 8 sheets of plywood needed to be replaced. Justin had advised that this would take place and only the wood that was truly bad would be replaced. I checked the sheets of plywood that came off the roof and all were in very bad condition. By noon the roof had been stripped, new plywood was in place and the sheets of underlay had been tacked into place. The crew took about an hour break and were at it again by 1 PM. By 5 PM we had a new roof. The crew also fixed our old vents for the toilets which along with the house are 50 years old. Justin was at our house by 4:30 PM. He climbed on the roof to inspect the work done by the crew, then he and I walked around my house. He had said that his crews were very thorough in cleaning up. They had draped our shrubbery with tarps to keep any roofing material from damaging our plants and shrubs. Later during the week, I only found a handful of old shingles about the size of a $.50 cent coin. They use a magnet to sweep the grass to pick up any roofing nails or other metal debris. TREC did a very professional job. I would hire them for other work.

The gentlemen arrived on time. They carried a ladder up three flights of steps in my home as the roof was accessible from the fourth floor balcony. They inspected the roof outside and gave me confidence that it was in good order despite having lower quality shingles. Upon inside inspection, they discovered that the leaks on my ceiling were actually from my AC air handler in the attic. All this and not even a service charge, which I would how been happy to pay! They were obviously very knowledgeable and helpful. They also clearly work from a perspective of helping others and doing what is right, even if that means not getting paid in the short term. I certainly hope it comes back to them in excess. I know that next time I have an issue, or a client of mine asks for a recommendation, this company is at the top of my list!

The Real Estate Corner is wonderful to work with on home renovation projects. They offer great products. I recently had them replace the roof on my house. The workers removed the old roof and installed the new roof in sections. Later in the day, being Maryland, it rained. No problem. They came back the next day, which was a Saturday, to finish the roof. Since I know a fair amount about construction, I inspected things both from the attic and from outside during the process. I watched them work. These were experienced roofers and they did a great job. I also had them replace the gutters with 6-inch gutters a few days later. Now I no longer have water overflowing my gutters along the roof when it rains hard.I like the Real Estate Corner and I have asked them to come back for another project. I am also interested in replacing my front door with a ProVia door. I would use the Real Estate Corner again for home renovation projects.

This company did an amazing job on my roof. I met with them on a Thursday and had a new roof the following week. My old roof was in horrible shape and they removed the old roof and repaired all of the underlying roofing issues prior to applying the new roof. I now have a solid peace of mind knowing that my new roof is properly protecting my home and investment. I am happy that I was able to trust the process with this company.

I had TREC Roofing out to inspect my roof after finding a leak in my bedroom. The team at Trec work quickly and professionally. They took a lot of photos of my roof to review with me the damage he found and why my roof was leaking. After finding storm damage, they met with my insurance adjuster and got me a new roof. I only had to pay Trec my deductible. Thank you for working fast and making sure we had a beautiful roof that will last for years to come. I would definitely recommend Trec to anyone with roofing issues.

TREC deserves 5 stars and here is why. 1st star- The entire service from the first consultation until the last pop in visit has been amazing. They are attentative!!! 2nd- I never felt pressured which is highly important to me. I never felt ignored or treated anyway except with respect and professionalism. 3rd- The company representatives are friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining, craftsmanship experts and their business processes are/ is remarkable. They kept me informed throughout the entire ordeal. 4th- They installation process was great. They were quick, the work is detailed and every stone is layed with precision and they cleaned up after themselves. 5th Star....TREC will stand up for what they believe in... which is customer service and product safety.
