Thank you G & S Contracting for creating a beautiful room which we enjoy every day! We started with a dark living room and an un-used porch, and now we have a living room with vaulted ceilings and wall to wall windows which allows us to enjoy our waterfront view. You were incredibly responsive during the design phase and construction phase of the project, and you made us feel like we were your only project. You gave us that much attention!Scheduling was very important to us and you kept the project moving as fast as anyone could expect! You listened to our thoughts, communicated ideas, and kept us informed about all upcoming construction activities. Whenever we have company over, they always comment on how impressed they are with our open living room and that it feels like they are in a vacation house.We feel the same way, so thank you very much for creating our beautiful room which makes us feel like we are on vacation every day!John and Lisa Fellows

Excellent performance.After requesting quotes from several contractors I turned to G&S Contracting since I had known the owner for over 30 years. We added a porch/Florida room which turned out better than expected. While working with the staff closely we were able to make some changes that came up after we started, they were extremely helpful and coordinated all sub-contractors. I have to say that their carpenters/construction crew went out of their way to make sure we were completely satisfied and the project was completed within the time frame we had wanted.

I am a Project Manager for a subcontracting company that works with G & S. The owners are very nice and care for the quality of work. They seem to have a more personal relationship with customers than other builders. They take the time needed to create a good quality product. Worth checking them out when considering contractors for your needs.

We just moved into our new custom home built by G & S and couldn’t be happier. It was not an easy project. Here is what they were up against…- We lived 2 hours away and couldn’t be here every day- Had already sold our home so they were under the gun- We were tearing down an existing home and saving the foundation (tricky engineering)- Property located in historical district of Charlestown (not easy to get approvals)- Also located on the water so had to deal with all the new FEMA regs (not easy)- Needed special approvals and engineering due to foundation, location and design- True Custom Home …. Top to bottom, not a stock plan that they had built in pastI could go on and on, but the bottom line is not an easy project. Not only did they deliver a beautiful product on time, under budget but their long-standing relationships with community and county officials, inspectors, regulators, etc. helped take the potential bumps out of the road. Dave, Larry & the subs were top notch. Bruce & Georgia kept us posted on progress and were open to suggestions throughout the entire cycle.Just relax . . . go with G & S and you’ll be happy. I WOULD NOT REFER THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY! They did a horrible job on our home remodeling plans. We had problems every step of the way. They also sub-contracted EVERYTHING out besides the frame work which cost us more and the sub contractors were horrible with their work. Save your money and find a better builder. We also found out later that they were the original builder of our home, which has multiple structure issues and they never once said "we originally built this house"Dont waste your time or money! You're welcome in advance.

I was left with a problem after a contractor took my money and left without completing the work. One call to G&S Contracting fixed everything. They immediately had people working on my house and their craftsmanship was impeccable. Thank you. A+

I don't know why they got to just hiring at out in front of their business or on Facebook I put in my application 2 weeks ago and they keep just saying will get back to you but get back to you I guess they're just playing games
