They came to check furnace as they had an ad for preventative check for $89. Three came. They seemed to be teaching one technician. After a long look (initially they said everything looked fine, they said they needed to do a deeper check. They also gave me quotes outrageously high for a drippy faucet in kitchen and a small problem with toilet. On their bigger look, they shut off furnace, drained, and changed one little piece on top that seemed a bit rusted. Ended up costing $451! Earlier in the visit they said they could check furnace and fix the small plumbing issues for $3500! It certainly looked like they brought a big crew hoping to get a big day of work on a simple check the furnace call. We could not get the heat to go down after they did the little repair for hours! I called to complain and they said give it time. They had come in the morning and this was now later afternoon. I called again and left a message. Took them 3 days to respond. Don't call them.

Pann Home Services to the rescue! The crew came out twice within 24 hours on emergency calls (two separate issues), arriving before the quoted ETA both times. Chris and Tim worked tirelessly for hours to solve a major plumbing issue; they are no-nonsense, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. On the second call, Chris and Brandon expertly fixed a leak in my furnace. All of the team members are efficient and kind, explaining their work and providing advice and recommendations. I am so pleased with the quality of the services provided and happy that I have Pann Home Services on my side. It seems as if there is no problem the crew cannot solve. Thanks again to Chris, Tim, and Brandon for their help!

We had some sewer blockage unexpectedly on a Sunday evening. It was a mess in our basement. Pann Home Services were very quick to respond to my urgent calls. Chris came in early morning and did his best to mitigate the issue for us. Very thankful for their prompt attention and understanding. We felt the price very expensive though ($1600 approx) and that's why it's one star less. We were charged $500+ just for removing the toilet and putting it back as part of the clog removal process. Wish the price was more reasonable. Grateful for the hard work by Chris anyway.

When we had a leak in our water heater Chris and Josh got it fixed and were very professional. After fixing it they took the time to make sure all the heat in the house was working and showed us what to look out for in the future.

Chris F. (With some help from Josh P.) Came to fix a leak with our hot water heater and was excellent! He explained every part of the process and was able to quickly diagnose the issue and fix it to make sure we had heat for the night. They were both so nice and knowledgeable and helped make us feel relaxed and in good hands during a stressful home repair issue.

On 1/13, we lost heat in our Somerville house. Pann HS dispatched a plumber who initially quoted $69 for diagnostics. Within an hour, the plumber demanded an additional $735 for a "diagnostic fee" and, after 20 minutes, charged us a total of $1669 for the fix. The heat was back on, so we chalked it up to very, very expensive emergency.Several hours later 1/14, after midnight, there was no heat. We contacted Pann but received no response until midday next day, when we were quoted additional $3969 for the repair, including a required part. However, as we were charging the card, we were then informed by the office that the new price was $4563, unless we do a mandatory monthly subscription of $19.99 for "immediate and priority service." We reluctantly agreed, only to face further delays requiring signing a PDF contract (no electronic signatures, so via email back and forth)Despite assurances, the part wasn't ordered until 1/15 at 4 pm, leaving us in a deep freeze. The promised industrial heaters never arrived. After escalating the issue, the missing part was miraculously located and a plumber was finally scheduled for 1/17 at 1:30 pm. However, he never showed up, and all calls went unanswered (24/7 emergency support is a sham)Desperate, we emailed the owner, Michael, who finally intervened on 1/18 at 8 am to send a technician to fix the heat. The total bill for two replacement kits—gas valve and inducer—amounted to $5686. However, basic research revealed that the parts, should not have exceeded $200 hundred.The experience of 5 days without heat, false promises, and constant escalation for basic services has been appalling. The exorbitant charges for simple parts and labor are unjustifiable. Avoid Pann HS at all costs.

During a heating system inspection, a leak was found inside the unit near the control board. After a brief discussion about next steps. I chose to have the unit replaced.Removal and installation was great. It was done sooner than expected and without any issues. Thanks Nick and team.

Called for intermittent power failures on a Navien tankless hot water heater. The plumber/technician Josh was courteous. thorough and completed the job in a timely manner. He took the time to explain thework needed clearly and always gave an accurate time frame for each step in the process that would impact the residents. Was very glad I called Pann Home Services.

Our gas water heater broke recently, and Pann was able to come out same-day to make sure we had hot water as soon as possible. Not only did they replace the heater, but they also brought our exhaust pipes up to code and made sure I had an understanding of what to do if something went wrong to avoid any CO scares. Chris, Tony, and Joey were all thorough, kind, professional, and informational throughout all of their work and had safety in mind the whole time! We will be repeat customers for any technical needs in our apartment.

With my wife pregnant and due at any moment, our heat suddenly stopped working at our home. Tim and Joey were sent over first thing the next morning to fix the issue. They ended up doing more than they needed to by updating our Navian system with new parts at no charge. These guys did a great job and walked me through everything I needed to know!

This morning between 7:45-7:55AM I was merging legally from Route 1S to I93 heading into Boston (so was the Pann car driver), and the Pann car driver sped up and almsot crashed me into the highway gaurd rail. So I merged in behind him. I then tried to merge into the lane to my right, and when I did he merged in front of me last second with no signal, so then I tried to merge right again and he did the same thing leaving less than a few inches between us. Driver had dreads a little past his ears length. I have a dash cam and on my GLC which recorded everything and will be reporting. Please take action before they reach out to the driver, because I don’t want to hurt you as a company, but the reckless and childish driving is unacceptable, and puts many in danger.Editting this Review: 1 star - 3 stars: Pann Home Services, responded to the above review and asked me to give them a call, I will update once again after discussing the situation with a representative.

I made an emergency call at 615 am on a Sunday morning, hoping to solve a toilet issue in time for my 850 am train. Josh picked up the phone and was at my place within the hour after I explained my situation. He was respectful, informative, and quick. I hired Pann Home Services to repair my tankless water heater which had become defective due to water hardness. Chris was the lead technician taking care of the repair. Their work was diligent and thorough. They called the water heater manufacturer to get new parts under warranty on my behalf, installed a new water filter and softener system to protect the water heater, and at the end of the day wiped every square inch of floor spotlessly clean. Throughout the process, they clearly explained every step they were doing. Chris even came back a few days after finishing the job because his manager wanted him to add a new part to the water filter system he installed, showing that they care about the quality of their work. The price of their services is higher than average, but I know from experience that there is an element of you-pay-for-what-you-get when hiring contractors. I know I got value for my money and am pleased with the professionalism with which Pann Home Services did the job!

The technicians were nice. They were supposed to come and identify the source of a leak in my walls. They didn’t find it however said the kitchen faucet was leaking, true. Tried to charge me $1,590 for faucet install (I already bought compatible faucet somewhere else) and switch out 2 shut off valves. That was $876 to install a faucet! Max of 2 hours work. They didn’t need to do anything out of the ordinary with this install. I took my business elsewhere and paid $300. They are price gouging!

That was a mistake!)Chris Fitz and Peter Meanes came to my house this morning to fix my leaking sink and faucet in my master bathroom as well as work on my hot water heater, which among other things, needed to be drained fully. They were here all day and worked hard throughout. At the end of the day, I was able to ask them questions about some of the work that was done, and Chris showed me in the basement what was done to the hot water heater. Very informative and helpful. I highly recommend both Chris and Peter!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Tim, who is also the service manager, and his apprentice came to my restaurant on an emergency service call. They did diagnostics and told me the issue was the thermopile and definitely not the gas valve. They called one company to try to get the part and said they couldn’t get it until next week. In a restaurant, you are required to have hot water to operate so this essentially would mean closing the business through the weekend. When asked if there was a universal part that could be used to patch up the issue, Tim hastily told me that if there was anything that could be done, he’d do it. He “called the only company that carries parts”, for my water heater and they’d said the product wasn’t available. He basically told me that even if there was a work around, what was he going to do, drive around to several places in hopes that he could find something that would work? They then left and gave me a tough luck kinda speech saying they’d be back next week. Cut to one hour later when another company came and installed a universal thermopile that was easily picked up. Upon installing this part, it was learned that the gas valve was an issue as well. They then stayed and fixed the issue for me after Pann said it couldn’t be done and Tim couldn’t be bothered to try to actually help us. This was a Friday afternoon and my sense was they just wanted to be done for the day and didn’t want to out in the work. Avoid this company at all costs.Service: Water heater repair

Awful, avoid this company. I hired them to replace a bathtub faucet. They came and told me the new faucet I bought doesn't fit, but "luckily" they had a faucet that would fit and they were ready to sell it to me for ~$400 (lol what? the price range for these faucets is $15-$50 unless it's made of gold). I refused and they left after charging me ~$70 for coming and not doing anything.

I needed a new combo water heater installed. I used Pann Home Services in the past to service my old unit. The company was always very responsive to my needs for repairs of the old system. The trust Pann built with me was the reason I chose them to install my new system. The technicians, Tim B, Kyle and Grant were very professional and took care to respect my property. They were prompt in arriving each day and were careful to clean up the work area at the end of each day. Tim was very thorough in explaining the work to be done.
