I absolutely love my roof. It’s so pretty! Bob and his crew led by Manuel, were very nice, thorough, even nice enough to help me get kids across the street. Manuel made sure to ask questions often, update on the progress, etc. we even got a matching roof for our shed. (House will painted shed color come spring). Bob was awesome to work with. He met with the adjuster and walked through everything with him. And that’s before he was hired. Amazing work, amazing crew, just great people who care about their work and customers. Bob even helped us with with our Christmas lights on the gutters when he came by to inspect the work, just to be nice. They exceeded my expectations. Now I just need the house painted and everything will be perfect. Thank you!

West Michigan Roofing and Construction recently replaced our roof and did an excellent job in every phase. We needed a complete tear off because we had two layers of shingles and plenty of bad decking. There was a leak that was causing water to run down the wall on the interior of our home. Since the work has been completed we have had no leaks or any issues and it looks great! We've got piece of mind knowing that if anything ever does go wrong these guys stand behind their work. Bob Ackerman was friendly, professional and easy to consult with. He made helpful suggestions as far as shingle colors and explaining product options. They also offer financing which was a huge relief for us not having to come out of pocket for such a big ticket item. That being said, we found their pricing was better than any of the other quotes we received. Bob walked us through the financing process and made things easy to understand. The roofing crew led by Manuel were professional, fast, efficient and took the time to explain what was going on each time we interacted with them. The crew started on possibly the worst day of winter dealing with snow and sub zero temperatures and still had it completed in just a few days. Five stars across the board for Bob and his team!!!

Everything that they said about the roofing is not true! We paid so much and still the same, they said after they changed the roof put a new vent,add insulation, new gutters we will not get icycles anymore but everything is lie. We tried calling them but no one is responding to our complaints. Very dissappointing!They just want your money...

I was having water issues coming into the house, every roofing contractor I called was giving me outrageous prices and quoting me for materials I didn't want or need. I heard from a friend about West Michigan Roofing, I contacted them and was introduced to Shannon Brown. The initial meeting was straight to the point; he listened to my exact needs and was able to meet them. He and his crew were able to work around my schedule, work with me on pricing, and did a great job with clean up and keeping me in the loop with any changes. I plan on selling my current house, but whatever roofing needs I have in the future I'll absolutely be a returning customer.

We had received damage to our roof around our chimney from a storm. We contacted West Michigan Roofing to see if they could make the needed repairs. Upon speaking with them we were scheduled a meeting to review the work that needed to be done. I was quoted a very reasonable price for the repairs and very quickly, less than two weeks later, they were able to get started on the repairs. It was completed on the same day they started. The crew led by Manuel was very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the repair process and even going so far as to take pictures of the process and bring them down to me on the ground. This was extremely important for me as I am disabled and cannot get up on the roof. If I had questions about the process or anything related to the job they were more than happy to answer them for me. The crew was polite and very professional. As they were wrapping up they were able to bring my husband up on the roof to make sure we were happy with the work that was done. We were beyond impressed with the level of quality and how the work was completed,it looks beautiful. Overall I am exceedingly pleased with their expediency, level of craftsmanship, and professionalism. These guys are an amazing group to work with. They helped me with deciding what to buy and what I needed, kept me informed and up to date on every little thing they ran into during my project; which turned out to be way more than anyone expected. He kept an eye on the job as it was being performed and checked back after the installation was completed, to ensure we were highly satisfied. The team of roofers was very accommodating to our needs. They cleaned up daily and when the job was done, there was no left over trash in our yard. Most importantly; we have a brand new roof, no more leaks, and all at a fair price. We would definitely hire West Michigan Roofing & Construction again.

Edited to add: after our new roof was put on, we engaged a pest professional to deal with bats and he sent photos of a couple of holes left between soffit/siding/roofline. I called WM roofing and they didn’t get back to me for weeks, only when I called back. Some guys came out, pounded on stuff, and then I never heard if everything was fine and done. I had to call back to make sure because they didn’t even knock on the door. Then our pest person came back and said the holes don’t even look different and now a piece of siding is pulled out. I am really unhappy with the lack of communication and customer service from this company.Our new roof looks so good! Matt Ritchie was thorough in the process of getting the project set up, answering our many questions, and being realistic about what we needed out of the project in terms of lifetime and endurance of materials. We had a super rainy April, and then our project got started! The roofing crew worked VERY hard on our many rooflines and pivoted as needed to straight out one roofline. Communication with the company became a little spotty once the roof was on and we were waiting to get our soffit back up and gutters on. We have a shared driveway and couldn’t be clear with our neighbors on when the driveway would be occupied. I know that it’s the season for roofing and can imagine they were behind because of all that rain. Overall while we wish there had been more consistent communication, we are very happy with the final product.

My husband and I had a complete roof tear-off and replacement done by West Michigan Roofing this summer. Bob Ackerman was my main point of contact. He went above and beyond putting together a quote that fit my needs by including several price options. Bob's presentation made me feel confident in trusting West Michigan Roofing with the job. He provided all information that I planned to request before I even requested it. He also provided the most accurate quote possible and factored in potential extra expenses that I asked him to consider. Bob made accommodations to fit my schedule and was very patient while I sought out other quote comparisons.Manuel led the roofing crew and also did an excellent job. He was friendly and provided high quality work. He led his crew by example, working with them the entire time and guiding them through a few of the troublesome spots on our roof.A few weeks after the job was completed, we noticed some shingles still were not laying flat. The same day that I called Bob to ask him if it was normal, he came out to look. Manuel then personally came out and made sure the shingles were laying nicely.Bob and Manuel made sure we were completely satisfied with the job and did not put up any barriers when we had concerns. They had excellent communication throughout the entire process. I greatly appreciate their hard work and patience. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof.

We would recommend this company for anyone needing a new roof or repair. We had damage to our 20 year old roof due to winter and high winds. Joe came out and made a temporary repair quickly and at no cost to us. He got us an estimate within 2 days for a full replacement. I received multiple other quotes but this company had the best price with the best products and could get our roof done in 2-3 days (which was great because we have a 5 month old and a dog that does not like loud noise). Joe communicated with me throughout the entire process and returned my emails within hours each time. The guys completed the job in 2.5 days. They cleaned up after each day and were on time every morning. We appreciate how quickly they worked and that they did not leave a mess. Our new roof looks great!! The entire process only took a few weeks (delayed due to COVID restrictions). We are grateful for Joe's patience with us and are very happy with the end result (so far so good, a few days in). :-)

We have been less than impressed with this company. Our entire roof was replaced less than a year ago and already was leaking again. They applied a tarp early spring to prevent more water coming in before they could even take a look at what's needed to do the repairs, it's been rainy and we have been patient and understanding about the weather but my house looks absolutely ridiculous with this tarp. They were supposed to be out last Saturday on our 80° sunny day, and they woke us up at 7:00am to rip the tarp off only to put it back on and leave because they forgot a dump trailer. Why they couldn't go back and get it is beyond us, since they were here so early in the day it shouldn't have been an issue. Instead the office called and told us they'd have to come back during the week. Super frustrating, and zero apologies for the inconvenience. So it's Monday (today) and we received no word, so we checked in with the office since the weather is fine and no rain is expected but looks like they won't be making it out today either. It seems my husband has to harass this office to even get a call back to be updated on when they will be out. On multiple occasions we have been promised call backs we've never received. The amount of times we've had to explain to different people at this company that we don't have an attic AFTER showing multiple teams who have been out to take pictures of the water damage in our house is alarming. We do not feel like our roof is currently a priority to this company, and paired with bad communication we feel burned as customers. We feel they already have us in a loan and won't be getting more money for these repairs so we are being put on a back burner. I'd love for this company to turn my opinion around, but as of right now I am warning everyone I know to go elsewhere.

The personnel are professional, knowledgeable, and always explained the procedures to be performed. When there was a problem with some materials they promptly corrected the problem. The installers were efficient, constantly working and the first day worked 13 hours practically non-stop. They took off a double roof the gutters, gutter shields, repaired the damaged roof joists and cut new plywood for the repair, replaced new sheets of plywood where needed, installed all the underlayment AND the shingles all in the first day. Our roof has almost 2800 square feet so it was a very big job. The remainder of the work of gutters, shields, final roof items were completed within 6 hours of the second day. They left our yard and flower beds clean of roofing materials and nails. This job was scheduled for 2 1/2 days and was completed in 1 1/2 days. I was very impressed with his knowledge and expert critique of my work. Also I much appreciated his willingness to take the time to help me out. Some of my roof will need replacing in the future, and I would not hesitate to contract with them. They did the roof of my next door neighbor and know that she has no complaints on the job done.

He was always there for me, & he always solved every question I had. He checked back with me on his own many times which promotes a high degree of trust. Derek was very easy to talk to & extremely knowledgeable even down to the very attractive color he helped me pick out. The work crew was great, & Brandon was a great help, too. The roof cost was reasonable especially considering the quality job they do. I used to do maintenance work for many years & I would definitely highly recommend hiring this company.

West Michigan was the first or second company I called, but quickly stood out because Tony started connecting with my insurance company while I was still vetting companies. West Michigan Roofing and Construction has developed a very sophisticated approach to examining your roof and presenting options to fix or replace it, as needed. Shannon, one of their very experienced roofing professionals, took a video of our 25 year-old roof, accompanied by his narration, detailing the minor and major issues he observed as he walked along its surface. A short time later, I met with Shannon and he and I viewed the video and reviewed the PowerPoint slide presentation he had developed which outlined his recommendations. As soon as I saw the video, I instantly realized I would need to have the old roof completely torn off and a new roof installed.In addition to the video portion, the presentation slides covered shingle material and color options, shingle configuration possibilities, backing materials, proposed roof venting upgrades to improve the longevity of a new roof, labor and installation costs, warranty coverage, customer testimonials, a gallery of photos from previous roof installations and a brief history of the company. The last slide detailed multiple pricing options for my wife and I to consider. By the way ... one very helpful feature included in the presentation was a computer-generated, dimensional image of our home and roof, offering the capability of toggling through shingling options (primarily configurations and colors) and displaying how they would appear, installed. After reviewing the pricing options, I gave Shannon the go-ahead to proceed. A short time later Shannon visited our home with shingle samples so my wife and I could view the actual products alongside our siding and trim colors to ensure the roof would be compatible with the rest of our home. Yesterday, bright and early, the installation crew arrived. Well before noon they had the old roof completely stripped off and had the new roof entirely installed and the work area thoroughly cleaned-up by late afternoon. Amazing! The roof looks great and it will provide our home with protection for decades to come. If I had another property that needed a roof repair or replacement, I would use West Michigan Roofing and Construction again without hesitation! Great job Shannon and crew!

They say they do roof inspections via satellite imagery and photos.That is NOT the proper way to do a roof inspection. Told me my roof was old & worn out & no hail damage. When in fact it did sustain hail damage according to the inspection done by another roofing company as well as my insurance company.STAY AWAY from W. Mi. Roofing. My opinion is they don't know what they're doing.Will not be getting my business.

I had a great experience with the job these guys did. They were always available to discuss any questions or concerns I had along the way. Bob Ackerman was a text away and the job was done in a timely manner. The price was reasonable and they used high quality products. My roof was done, my garage fixed up with some new wood and new siding. They replaced a sliding door window and 2 garage windows. They fixed up an electrical box and a few other odd jobs. I'm definitely going with these guys again for any future work.

Derek Farrel made the experience of getting a new roof pleasant and easy. I love that he took before and after pictures (I was not going up there) and included them in a presentation that was also e-mailed to me for my records. I was having trouble deciding on a color so he made a special trip back to my house, went up on the roof and laid out a batch of shingles so I could get a better idea of what it would look like. I am so glad he went above and beyond or I would have been disappointed with my original color choice, but because of his extra efforts I love my new roof. I was amazed how efficiently the crew worked and the care they took with cleanup, completing everything in one day. I had an unusual situation arise and upon asking Derek for help I was astonished by the friendly response and eagerness to help me with my situation, and this was after they had been paid. Ryan and Andrew came to my house one day after my request for help and they were proficient and courteous. Everyone I dealt with made me feel like a good friend of the family and that they truly wanted me to be pleased with every aspect of my experience, and I was. Thank you West Michigan Roofing.

Our tree fell on our house on June 18th. We had called for places to get an estimate on our roof and our kitchen window to be done. The only roofing company we had call back on a timely manner, was West Michigan Roofing. Our rep was Shannon Brown and I would highly recommend him to anyone!! He came out on the 4th of July when our claims adjuster from the insurance company was supposed to be here, on his own time, to meet with him. From there things went so smoothly I couldn't believe it. We absolutely love our new roof and they had the old one tore off and the new one on it within a half a day! I would recommend this company to anyone and I would recommend the representative that we went through for sure because he was the best!

We had a leak at the peak of our barn roof so I called WM Roofing and Construction. Bob came out and inspected the roof that same day (Friday) and the roof was ultimately fixed by the end of the following week.They even knocked $150 off the estimate because they found they didn't need everything that was originally quoted.Bob and his crew were very knowledgeable and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone in need of roofing help.
