We hired Property Revolutions to remove our chimney, replace all the siding on our house and garage, and install a sliding glass door. We learned that they will only do the work very specifically listed in the quote. Their crew damaged our house, and did a poor job overall.We met with the quoter and walked down the project. We explained that a pest control company told us the only way to stop bats from getting into the attic is to replace the roof vents, and for that, they would have to rip down the siding – so we should re-side the whole house and replace the vents. I explained that I didn’t like the way the old siding on the house stopped ~12-18 inches up from the ground – and that I’d like it to go all the way to the ground like the garage’s siding.We got the quote, and it was slightly competitive with the other companies who quoted the project, so we signed and paid the deposit. Then we found out that we would have to pay $2,700 more to have the fascia replaced, because that wasn’t included. Also, they only counted 2 of the 4 walls of the garage, so the it would cost twice as much (they worked with us on that price). Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that, since the quote didn’t SPECIFICALLY SAY to replace the roof vents, the old vents would remain in place (and the bats still get into our house). Also, the quoter didn’t write into the quote going all the way to the ground, so when they did the installation later, they stopped higher than the old siding!We had decided to change the color of the house with the new siding project. You would think the quoter would know to include in the quote changing the outlet covers to match the new color scheme. Nope. You would think the “faux shutters” would be replaced, too. Nope. Because we just said “re-side the whole house!” but didn’t point to every little detail and ask to have it replaced, it wasn’t included in the quote. So the “competitive quote” was actually an “incomplete quote.”The chimney demolition left a 1’ wide hole in the foundation where their machine pulled out “a large piece” that they “didn’t realize was part of the foundation.” Rather than tell us about the problem – they WENT HOME – and didn’t even cover up the hole. We temporarily filled it with spray foam when we found it (to keep insects and animals from getting into our house!). They eventually filled it with expanding concrete, but the bottom line – our foundation was compromised.When they installed the sliding glass door, at first they put it in backwards (we complained, and they switched it). We had told the quoter which way we wanted it to open – but she didn’t put the directions in the quote. They didn’t cut straight lines, it’s not installed plumb (off by 1.25”), and they used framing boards that weren’t wide enough to cover the entire depth of the wall. We’ve had 4 handymen look at the inside part to install trim, and all four said, “They installed the door wrong.”We met with the owner and foreman to show them the siding mistakes on the house, like how the horizontal lines didn’t line up going around the corner. There were a number of bad trim folds and gaps that they eventually fixed. They did a better job on the garage (which they did a few months later) than on the house.There were other mistakes we have to fix. They cut our internet cable and used it to tie a scaffold. They broke the front door light fixture and THREW IT AWAY. They damaged the exterior electrical outlet (which can’t be fixed without ripping apart the wall!). They crushed garden plants.So what we learned was… make sure the contract spells out everything little thing you want done – even tasks you would think are part of the project per “common sense” – because they won’t do anything that’s not specifically listed in the contract. Take photographs BEFORE they do any work, so you can prove when they damage something. And complain right away when they damage something – because they’ll quickly start to argue that it’s not their fault, or why they don’t have to fix it.

I want to thank Property Revolution for a great experience. They came out and redid our roof while we were on a much needed vacation. They communicated the whole time keeping us aware of the process. After we returned Nick and Riley came to do our final walk through. Both these gentleman were very understanding and accommodating to the questions I had. Property Revolution was excellent to work with. The pricing was fair and was close to what I expected based on my research. The process began with Perry who did the estimate. He was nice and very responsive to questions and getting the project finalized for construction. The crew of Brandon, Nick and Noah were extremely professional with great personalities. We happened to be off work during the week and it was nice having decent dudes around explaining the work and being a source of entertainment for my wife. The overall project was excellent and to quote my wife, “ they made my vision a reality. I had a replacement deck installed last August and I have debated whether or not to right a review. The pros of Property Revolution are, I got a prompt reply to my request for a quote, the quote was reasonable and in line with my budget, and the projected work start date was as anticipated. The cons are some of the lumber pieces used on the deck should not have been installed and should have been rejected as there are large, gaping knot holes in some of the pieces, some of the spindles are warped, and the 99% of the screws were overdriven so I have shredded pieces of wood at each screw hole. Work quality was definitely lacking. After complaining to the company, they did have a worker come out to replace half of the spindles, a few of the floorboards, and did some sanding of the screw holes, but the majority of the holes remain shredded. I do not know if the lack of workmanship was because the crew sent to do the job were inexperienced, or if they were in a hurry to complete the job, or if they felt that as a female homeowner, I wouldn't care how good or bad the job was done. It would have been beneficial to have a project supervisor come out to check on the job that was being done to ensure it was done properly and that the homeowner was satisfied with the quality of the work.

Thank you for the new roof! In November, Property Revolution held a contest for a new roof. I submitted my entry and waited. By Christmas, Curtis called and congratulated me on my win.My roof was really bad and this was an incredible blessing. Curt was really nice and came over and told me that would be done with a timeline. They came this February and replaced the entire roof in 7 hours. I appreciate it very much. I am incredibly grateful for the roof. Thank you so much. It's beautiful!

We have been looking for someone to side our house and install new gutters for some time and we decided to go with Property Revolution. Amanda was very easy to work with and modified the quote a couple of times based on our changes. During the installation there were a couple of things that we wanted completed, but unfortunately, they we not feasible and Riley was on top of it and changed the work order to accommodate us. Everybody on sight worked hard to complete the job and was very respectful. Property Revolution is lucky to have both Amanda and Riley on their team. Overall, we are very pleased with the results.Currently, Property Revolution is quoting a new deck for us in the spring.The best part was when our three years old Granddaughter came over for the first time after it was completed and asked me, “Grandpa, did you get a new house?”

Amandalynn did an absolutely perfect job reviewing my siding, gutters, roofing, and attic/crawlspace review for any storm damages. She found quite a few items that need repair that were related to inferior construction. She did such an amazing and thorough job that I actually offered to pay for the quote/inspection, which she would not accept. Where to begin? We had a terrible contractor experience with Property Revolution. It seems they subcontracted this out and washed their hands of it. Too many things went wrong to list but here's a quick summary: very delayed (over 8 months from deposit to work beginning), set materials in front yard on grass and it stayed there for months killing a large swath of grass in our front yard, windows were open when they came for demo of old siding and they didn't ask to have them closed and a lot of dust and debris got into the house (think lead paint dust), no tarps or dumpster just piles of debris all over the place, broke our radon system pipe, nails on the driveway everyday they worked, inconsistent work days and terrible communication, worked until after dark several days which was very disruptive and was not very professional (how can you work in the dark doing siding much less pickup nails?), damaged landscaping, used white caulk on our dark roof to patch holes from attaching lift and a lot of wear on the roof where they were working, damaged gutters and left downspouts loose, several lights were not re-installed and now hardware is missing, exterior outlet covers can't be installed on the front with the size of the frame they used, several details left incomplete (wrap, caulking, etc), didn't pickup porto-potty until weeks after work was "completed". This is all I can think of at the moment but the list really goes on and on. I really thought we were going with a great contractor but our experience was stressful and super frustrating. Siding turned out ok but the process was not reassuring and I question the install. Still finding nails and pieces of aluminum all over the place. Overall terrible, stressful experience and I would not recommend these guys.

From start to finish this company has been one of integrity. So rare these days. The person who came to give the quote was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Out of 3 quotes Property Revolution was the most reasonable. I also worked a great deal with Stephanie in the office. She is kind, professional, and if she did not have an answer she would get it and get right back to me. The work crew were cheerful, and they knew what they were doing. They had a boatload of tough bushes to rip out before they could even get the old cemented posts out. They did not fuss but got right to work and had them out in a few hours. The fence is straight and level in really unlevel ground. The team leader of the crew was super and kept things on track. It looks really nice. This company is honest, faithful, professional. They communicated well from the start and though there were a few issues with acquiring materials and expected weather delays, we were kept informed throughout the entire process.
