While this company did the job that they were supposed to, I would not use this company again. The job was to get the water line to my fridge to work, which did happen but it took an unreasonable amount of time and included extra holes in my ceiling and a mess for me to clean up. Normally I wouldn’t complain about the time it takes for a job like this but when the guy admits to me that it could have taken a half hour if he had done something differently rather than 3 hours, then I get a little upset. On top of that, he used my step stool to do his work leaving it a complete mess and making me scrub it after the job. He also stepped on two chairs that I had in the room leaving footprints on my furniture. He also cut huge holes into my ceiling trying to find the line, which is not something this company fixes. Afterwards I called the company to dispute the bill since the majority of the cost was the time it took which should not have been on me since it was his fault for doing the wrong thing in the first place. I spoke to Karen who assured me that she would look into it and get back to me that day. I didn’t hear from anyone for a month and a half until my check was cashed and I called again. I spoke to Karen again and she apologized for no one getting back to me and said she would call me that afternoon. It’s been over a week and I have yet to hear from anyone. The lack of response and taking responsibility for their mistakes is why I will not use this company again.

Great local company to work with. Reasonable prices, prompt service. I have used Jenks for various maintenance on my home most recently replacing at hot water heater that was slowly dying. Within a week from initial contact I had a new hot water heater installed.

We had a leak in our bathroom. I called and they got someone out quickly. They gave me a quote and shared suggestions. I chose to get a new tub installed and it was done within a week. The work was great and the workers were very nice. Definitely will use anytime I need any more plumbing services.

Family owned business with a long history in the Greater Lansing, MI area. Installation of a new Air Conditioner Unit to replace existing old unit. Fair price included site visit, updated connection to furnace, replaced wiring, new electrical breaker box outside, permits, new pad for unit to sit on. Performed a lot of work, installation was less than one day once unit was in stock.

The "workers" who put in the heater were Good as they worked. All the guys were efficient and good at what they do and were very committed to doing the job. It took all day, but the workers were good with the job.But, even after completing the job, the heater does not perform well. When the temps get low, 32* or lower, the heater runs all the time. This morning the house was chilly and not warm, as it was in the upper 20's, and the heater was running all the time.She set the thermostat at 78 degrees F* and it was only 70* on twarretyhe wall this morning.We requested another copy of the contract for our files, and in over a month they have not sent another one to us yet*!*

My first time using Jenks Plumbing. I had a leak in my hot water pipe plus an old patch job in the same line that need to be repaired. They got the job done okay but just let water fall all over the washer and dryer. They broke a ceramic light fixture that they failed to mention. Price was reasonable. I’m on the fence as to whether I would use them again.I would like to add, they did come back after I did this review so and made thing right for me. So that good.

I've had them come out three times. They did a great job each time. They were able to replace a steam boiler pipe that had rusted out in just two visits. They also serviced the boiler system and repaired a slow draining sink in one short visit each.I've spoken with two different plumbers from this company. Called to have our furnace looked at as it was not working properly at the end of last winter. Not only did I get an appointment within a few days, the serviceman, Ryan, identified and fixed the problem on the spot.He was very knowledgeable and personable. What I expected might be an expensive repair was very reasonably priced.

I had a mysterious leak in the basement, which appeared to be coming from the 1st floor bathroom. I had just had a B-Dry system put in one year ago, so the basement had been very dry until the leak appeared a few weeks ago. Sam from Jenks Plumbing did an extremely thorough check to rule out all possibilities. He eventually figured out the mystery. An old plastic container of Roof Melt had a crack in it, and the contents were leaking out onto the items on the shelves and floor below! The liquid looked like water. However, it didn't dry up like water, but rather stayed on the floor. I am very grateful that Sam was very patient and methodical as he checked out each possibility. He is the Columbo detective of the plumbing world. Jenks Plumbing again saved the day.

We received great service from Dave! We had tree roots growing in our sewage lines and had plumbing problems because of it. Dave was professional, knowledgeable and prompt. He resolved the issue and kept us informed of options/costs along the way. Hopefully we won't need a plumber for a while, but if we do, Jenks is who we'll call.

Had them come to install new gas lines to my dryer and stove - which had previously been electric. Two technicians came out and stated that they needed to talk to their boss before being able to add the lines because 1) they didn't recognize the type of pipe used for the gas in my house (which is flexible gas piping used in all new home builds - my house was built in 2013 and is in a large subdivision), and 2) they didn't think the size pipe leading in to my house was big enough to supply my furnace, water heater, dryer and stove at the same time. They took some notes, said they would talk to their boss and get back to me. It has been over a week - not one word from them. Well, A-1 came out today and installed brand new gas lines, no problems, no issues with the size of the pipe...I guess Jenks Borthers just didn't want the money I was willing to give them!
