Can't say enough about how happy we are with the recent roof we had installed by Mitch and the crew at WeatherSeal! It took us longer to pick the colors than it took them to schedule and install the new roof (with complete tear-off). The workmanship is top notch and looks great. We've had many neighbors comment on how it nice looks and how quickly the work was completed.For reference, we have a very steep, large roof with many valleys, lots of mature landscaping around the house and limited access for large equipment. Our sub is about 25years old and a number of the homes have had roof replacements in recent years...we've heard the complaints with other companies of lengthy installs, non-responsiveness and property damage. We were worried that this may just be normal with a roof tear-off and replace. But we had no issues and have ZERO complaints :0).Would recommend them to any friend or family member.Service: Roof installation

I needed a new roof, gutters, and a porch overhang repaired. They responded quickly and provided the most thorough quote of all I contacted. The work was top notch, and even with the repairs the roof was done in a day. The replacement gutters color matched perfectly with my existing paint. And they did a great job cleaning up. Great company and Great experience from start to finish.Their sales rep Mike is a super nice and professional. He will come out and get up on your roof to inspect the condition that your roof is in and take measurements. Mike will then give you a verbal estimate on how much it will cost. Within two days you will receive an email from Mike with that estimate in writing listing all the items that estimate covers. There is NO pressure from them.They have a great install crew. All the guys are very hard working, polite and you can tell they enjoy working together. They did a great job installing my new roof and clean up after. I have had a lot of compliments from my neighbors on how great it looks.The owner Al even came out to make sure that everything was going well and that I was happy with his crew.I will be hiring them to put new siding on my house when I am ready.They have also done work for my mom, and she is very happy with their service.Service: Roof repair

Al and their team were very easy to deal with. I was in need of a new roof(mine was leaking and causing damage in the house). They promptly came out gave me a quote and were able to start in a couple of weeks. During the tear off AL was able to send me pictures of issues they found, previous holes that were left open and just roofed over. They replaced a lot of damaged wood and cleaned up the house nicely after. In and out in one day.

Well done, I’m going to be honest not everything was perfect however when there were problems they were dealt with immediately and to my satisfaction. What really impressed me was they were paid in full but they said they would strap down some loose gutter. A very minor job and I never expected them to come back most companies when they have your money you never see them again that is the reason for this review. I had five contractors come to my house to give me a quot. Weatherseal was the last company I called at the recommendation of one of my neighbors…. The communication started off great and everyone I encountered were very nice and professional. The gentleman that showed up seemed willing to give me a quote and walked the roof, however I never received a quote or even a call back. I call the office to ask for the quote and was told someone would get back to me , but nobody did. It was a small job in Detroit so maybe that factored in. I was disappointed because they were so nice !! (Hence 2 stars instead of one)

Weatherseal Home Improvements replaced 13 windows and a Doorwall in just over a day and the quality of the windows and workmanship was Excellent! They replaced my roof in 2014, completed the whole job and cleaned up everything in 1 day and I have never had a leak or problem since. The Trex pool deck they built in 2007 still looks like new and was well worth the investment. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs home improvements, high quality work at a fair price!

After receiving an accurate estimate, the crew was out within one week to do our roof. The first crew arrived at 6:30 a.m. to strip off the old roof and discovered rotted plywood, which they replaced after letting us know the additional cost. The roof was done by 4:30 p.m., which included a thorough clean-up. Everyone on the crew were professional and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend Weatherseal for a great job.

I had previously bad experience with Weatherseal where some issues had happened and took longer than I would have liked to get everything fixed, but almost 8 years later when my roof had a small issue the owner (Al) personally came out to address the situation for me and get everything fixed up, and even remembered the previous grievances I had, and took extra time to talk with me and explain how/why everything previously happened, and how the issues I experienced happened. Weatherseal and there roofing crew were worth the wait, they were about two weeks out from the other four bids we got for scheduling for the install date. The tear off crew with that clean up buggy thing is incredible my neighbors were so impressed with how they carefully moved around the landscape and most of the debris made in the tear off buggy. Then the shingle installers had the roof complete in a matter of hours at the end of the day it was like they were never there besides the sign in the yard.Thanks Mr. MattilaGreat job weatherseal Team

I'm with a local property damage restoration company, and we frequently work Weatherseal when our clients have exterior damage from storms, fallen trees, vehicle impacts, or fires.Our main rep is Mike B., and we've brought him and his team in on a number of jobs now, ranging from small repairs to complete tear-offs and re-roofs. After about a dozen projects our clients have had nothing but great things to say about the quality of the finished work.They respond quickly, get the job done in a timely manner, and leave the job sites clean, making sure to pick up any loose nails, staples, and debris before leaving the property.

If there was a zero rating I would give it. I live in a condo so had no choice in who they hired to replace our roofs. They work fast with a large crew but what a mess. I paid $2400 dollars extra to have skylights replaced and it looks like an amateur did it on the inside. They are not responsible for the inside, but the edges of drywall have a large gap between the edge and the new window frame. The skylights are in the bathroom and though they "covered" the area with a tarp, I was left with a bathroom covered from top to bottom with grit, soot and dust. It took me an hour to clean it, having to vacuum the whole bathroom first, then having to wipe down counters and floors, light fixtures, toilet, sink, etc 3 times to get it all out. What a gigantic mess for someone who is handicapped like me. Now I have the added expense of hiring someone to repair the gap between walls and window frames.. It looks horrible. the owner does not care. Beware!!

Hired Weather Seal to fix a leaky roof and discussed in great detail the current issue. Weather Seal replaced the roof, however the issue was not fixed and actually made the leak worse. It took months for them to comeback to fix the issue. They do not cover damages inside, even if they cause them. If issues arise, this is not the company to trust.
