Here's the short version: This company installed my HVAC incorrectly...failed to notice what was wrong...then charged me over $700 to fix the botched installation. I refused to pay, so they put a lean on my home.The longer version: This company improperly welded the AC compressor lines when installing my HVAC system. They failed to notice this was the issue and blamed me for my home not being insulated well enough. I trusted the technician's assessment. However, I noticed the unit would not cool my home even on days where the high temperature was 75 degrees. I asked for a technician to come out again to double check. The technician noticed refrigerant leaking around the welds connecting the compressor lines outside my home and verified that this was the actual problem. Another technician came out a few days later and repaired the line and recharged my AC unit. It's worked perfectly ever since. That would have been the end of this, but then they sent me a bill for over $700 dollars for the "repair" of a problem they caused in the first place. When I refused to pay this bill, they placed a lean on my home.

The two gentlemen with Bollinger Plumbing showed up at their appointment time. They listened as I explained the problem, went to work looking for the problem, and in a short amount of time found the problem with their camera and showed me what they had found. I was charged for 1 1/2 hours when the repairman was here 45 minutes, then I was charged $28.59 for shop materials, when he used nothing from his shop to repair a drain that was stopped up. Talk about overkill. I don’t think I will ever call them or recommend them to anyone.UPDATE: just received a call and all charges were explained to me very politely and with my complete understanding. The service tech was very polite and let me watch everything he was doing and some nice explaining on his part.Service: Repair HVAC
