Well, it's a local hardware store. Small. Aside from the lovely and helpful cashier, no customer service to speak of. I saw many people with puzzled looks just waiting around. I've had good experience here before. My be they were having an off day.

the staff there is awesome they looked for some stove heater pellets for me even though that section had been closed for the day and he looked for quite a while before determining they didn't have any.not to mention Ace hardware always has good stuff and this one had a VERY large inventory for the size of town it's in, that and the popcorn and I don't know what else you need in life

Being a recent transplant to the Mesquite area, it was my first trip to Mesquite Ace. They had everything I needed, and their service with a smile was much appreciated. I recommend this Ace Hardware and will absolutely visit them in the future.

It’s worth the time and drive to go to Saint George and go to a real hardware store. The prices at this store are outrageous. I compared several different items, between storage racks, painting supplies, cleaning supplies, and even tools and you can get the same or better for a LOT less at Walmart or Lowe’s.I don’t know how it compares to other Ace’s but I sure can’t afford to shop here.

Great staff. You don't have to look for anyone to assist you because the staff is obviously customer oriented. They offer to help, but don't hover if you decline assistance. I definitely recommend this store.

Used to love to shop here, everyone is always very helpful. Went in recently to buy a clear coat paint to protect plastic. I asked if it would protect from scratches and the grumpy old lady said well only if you spray it on it!!!! REALLY!!?? Guess I interrupted her break or social time with my stupid question. Will NEVER shop here again!!!

I haven't been in an Ace Hardware in ages. But I needed some pavers and Mesquite is somewhat lacking in hardware stores. I initially went on a Sunday but their "yard" was closed. No problem, I went on a Monday and they were open. The sales associates were all very friendly and helpful. I was able to get my pavers for a great price. I'll definitely go back!

My wife spent 45 wandering around and NOT ONE PERSON asked if she needed help. Guy working in paint area too busy visiting. Aisles full of stuff, a person couldn't even get down the aisles and no apologies when she had to turn back because of it. High priced as well. Don't visit unless you absolutely need to

I was almost ejected. A young woman exiting as I was entering wasn't wearing a mask. I mentioned it and she loudly responded, "I don't like wearing a mask." I said that was not a good excuse. She then yelled at me, "I have asthma." I started to answer when the clerk at the front desk told me to take it outside. I told the clerk firmly that her mask was not on properly as her nose was uncovered. Later I noticed another member of the staff not even wearing a mask. One employee defended the situation saying he had been a inhalation therapist for years and then on M-95 mask was essentially useless. To all there if you had only a cotton sweater, would you not wear it in a snow storm? If you really have a lung condition that impedes you from wearing a couple of pieces of cloth in front of your nose, you'd best be avoiding public places. Doctors are not giving out notes to very many people. Give a d.... about others. Wear the mask!

Was told by salesman an item cost $2.99 (I bought 4) and was charged $4.99 each at checkstand. Went back to talk to salesman & he said nothing could be done but admitted his mistake. I am feeling ripped off.

We rented a sprinkler trencher last Friday, we live in Overton so we drove a half hour to pick it up. Arriving at 6 pm to, the employee could not keep the machine running.A second employee came out to help. They added oil to the engine, then realizing that wasn't the issue, they followed the diagram instructions on the machine. They had to hold down a safety lever to make it run.Getting the trencher home, and starting my project early Saturday morning, we found that the trencher would not run under a load and would die. After 2 attempts at restarting it the pull cord broke off and wound up in the cord cover.We found the choke was completely broken and wired half open. Finally in utter disappointment we decided to return the trencher, with not accomplishing anything.At the return talking with the mechanic we told him what a (POS) the trencher was and if they were going to rent something it needed to be fixed correctly and not Micky moused. Now they were costing me money.I will never rent anything from these people.If this is an example of quality mechanical work , which it isn't, I'll go elsewhere. This whole experience was Micky Mouse, they don't fix their equipment correctly.

A little expensive, but way better than driving to St.George. Large selection of parts from all aspects of building. Kitchen supplies, Christmas ornaments. Ask for Rodger to assist you. He has been there forever and knows where everything is and has volumes of knowledge.

'Ace is the Place" to go for some items needed for the home and garden. It is not Home Depot by any means, but it is a nice place and and I'm the employees get a kudos because everyone is really nice and they genuinely smile and thank customers for shopping. Ace also has customer Military discount on Wednesday .
