My wife and I lived in Montclair for about 50 years. We had a beautiful Victorian with porches and balconies off of the second floor. Over the time we lived there we put on three roofs. Lowe Roofing did the best job by far. The company redid the entire main roof, the baloneys, the porch roofs and the second floor deck off of my daughter's room. I couldn't be more pleased. Terry Lowe and Slate Rood Professionals were highly recommended by our neighbor and we are so grateful for the referral. We’d worked with them over the years on some small repairs and when it came time to replace the whole roof we knew we were in great hands. Terry made sure the whole process went smoothly. After showing us a variety of tiles in a variety of colors, he took the time to drive me around and look at homes where tiles we liked were used. Once we choose the tile, Terry and his team were easy to work with. They were professional, prompt, and kept the area clean. They were always courteous and responsive to our questions. I've been using Terry for all my roof work over the past 8 years. We have a 150 year old house that needed a whole new roof and repairs/maintenance on the section with a flat roof. We worked with Terry and Slate Roof Professionals to make some repairs to our slate roof, which dates from the 1930s. Our repairs were necessary as several leaks had developed. First, Terry is incredibly kind and professional. Second, I have never met anyone who possesses his knowledge of roofs! The leak issues have been addressed, and Terry dropped by months after the repairs to make sure everything was in order. Slate roof professionals has been working with the Montclair Art Museum for over 10 years. Our main building is a combination of three separate buildings, some of which are over 100 years old. Professionals at Slate roofing were able to identify and repair several entry points of water intrusion, which are not always leaking a leaking roof, but could be an old yankee gutter, a leaky masonry chimney or other issues that would be hard to detect without a professional. At the museum's admin building, Slate roof repaired old and rotted yankee gutters and installed a new roof. I have been happy with both their professional approach, work done and completed and follow up.
